You know.. I was thinking.. This document dump has been a little strange.. Normally after a dump, isn’t Baez out beating his gums together soon afterwards?? We haven’t heard a peep from him, or the Anthony’s.. I bet they’re all stuck inside with a bad case of the chits again.. *ROFL*
The Baez has responded to the docs with a bunch of motions to get her off!
Well, they have done that with the other docs, but I think these ones are over the top for them!

The duct tape…..well unlike what the defense has been saying, the tape from the gas can and the duct tape on Caylee are consistent with one another. Base on the examination of the tape from both were compared and are comparable to one another. It also states that the physical attributes and the chemical composition of their backing and adhesive components are comparable. They originated from the same source of tape of from rolls of tape manufactured on the same manner. (I would like to mention that the tape on the posters that the A’s hung around town, would be nice if it was tested.)

Scrama…I was hoping it would be the tape with Caylee’s remains. But, even if it is the tape on the gas can you are right it will show who was using this tape…especially if Geroge’s isn’t on there. The one thing they will do to explain that away is…of course her prints were on there she used them to put gas in her car. But, it is just another one of the coincidences…I think we have about 100 of those now…way too many imo to be coincidences.

I have no clue about that, but I think when the state offered and she never took it, nor acknowledged it, it isn’t pretty for her anymore.
Everyone on the defense team came in for their own purpose…I don’t believe one of them came in because they really believed she was innocent or there was a terrible tragedy they wanted to make right…they were all in for themselves and now will pay for it.
They can actually do a plea all the way up through trial and before a verdict comes in. This is if the state and defense agree upon it. Like if the state offers something which I don’t think they have other than the limited immunity long before Caylee was found…say they offer lwop and the defense turns it down. They can come back even at trial if it is going really bad and say we will take it. But, the state doesn’t have to if they don’t want to at that time.
Steph, seems all have books either coming out or just came out. They all look really stupid.
I honestly don’t think the state will give into anything anymore. She had her chance and blew it. Not to mention she has stated that they were trying to trick her into confessing, and that Ashton was bullying her! She made her bed, it is now in jail, then prison!

The first time they offered it was just the immunity from what she told them for them to find Caylee’s remains. But, they could still charge her with murder and anything they found with the remains they could use against her…we now know why she wouldn’t tell them where Caylee was…All that very strong evidence they could use against her.

I don’t know…I think because of the money and so many other cases, they would take a plea instead of going to court. I don’t want them to take a plea…i want all that she did to Caylee to be told to the world…i also want all that the Anthony’s did to cover up told to the world. But, I still think they would go ahead with a plea on lwop.
Baez doesn’t want that and never has…it is all about his day in court not Casey’s. I don’t know if Lyons wants to show what she can do at sentencing or not, but she is a dumbarse like the rest. That is where I am not sure if she can say no contest ( I wouldn’t think she could for 1st degree murder but I don’t know). Or if they will let her get away with mixing truth and mistruths while allocuting.
You normally do have to allocute when taking a plea…We would never hear the whole story…don’t even know we will hear the whole story if it goes to trial. But, we would hear a lot more than if the state agreed to a plea.

I have heard of pleas, where part of the plea deal is they cannot ever appeal the sentence… I hope they would include that if there was to be a plea…

they had guilty knowledge that day at the tow yard.. they knew that casey had refused to let cindy talk to caylee for the last month.. and they knew that casey wasnt dead, cause, cindy had talked to her just the day before and that casey lied and said she was in jacksonville… and NOW, the smell of dead body!!!!!! they KNEW it was caylee, it just could only be caylee….. so, what do they do??? go home and put stinky car in garage and start disinfecting everything….. I am shocked that they havent been charged already…

I wonder how long and how much more circumstancial evidence is brought to light until there is significant in-fighting on the dream team. Lyons is no dummie and she knows what will be best for the D. She is SUPPOSED to be the one driving the car right now, but she isn’t. She will eventually want to deal with the prosecution for a deal and Bozo wants his day in front of the camera..

mad – You are right about C&G, however I just don’t see them doing any significant time for it and given the exposure and cost to try the two (and Lee, who “knows what he has done”), I think the cost and, unfortunately the potential image of police ‘picking on victims’ in laying charges, I don’t think they will pursue it, at least not until WF’s trial is complete. I truly believe that they would never have had a hand in their granddaughter’s death, however after the fact they sure have. I guess we will see..

Drawing parallels with a case a few years ago here in AB, A young woman who apparently was asked to “scrub down a truck” for no apparent reason, then assisted two murderers by driving them out of province in another truck to go “Camping” was charged with accessory after the fact, which was later commuted to obstruction of justice.. The difference was that her testimony was quite consistent over the course of two trials for the accused, her own and her initial interrogation.. (not the case of the A’s)..

“Kacy Lancaster, the last suspect yet to be tried for her alleged involvement in the Richardson murders, pleaded guilty to an obstruction charge in Medicine Hat provincial court this morning and was given a one-year conditional sentence.
Lancaster, 22, appeared before Judge Darwin Greaves. She was originally charged in May, 2006, with being an accessory to murder after the fact following the arrest of Jeremy Steinke and a then 12-year-old youth who were travelling in the bed of her pickup truck in Leader, Sask. in April, 2006.
Steinke and the now 15-year-old girl have since been convicted for the murders of Debra, Marc and Jacob Richardson of Medicine Hat.
Crown prosecutor Ramona Robins told the court Thursday of the difficulty in proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Lancaster was in fact an accessory to murder after the fact. Proving what Lancaster knew and when, as well as because of Lancaster’s testimony under oath at the two previous trials of the convicted triple-murders, Robins said she was confident in her decision to drop the accessory to murder charge.
The court heard Robins say the close to three years of house arrest Lancaster has served as a condition of her release also played a part in her agreement to this plea bargain.
“She lived under these conditions for a very long time and never breached them,” Robins said. Otherwise, Robins said she would have been looking for a jail sentence in this matter.
Defence lawyer Merv Nidesh spoke highly of his client, saying it is a “rare privilege” to represent a client who took every opportunity for self-improvement.
“All she can do is all she has done to make herself a better person,” Nidesh told the court, becoming emotional as he ended his statement.
Judge Greaves listened carefully to the submission, calling the crime which took the lives of the Richardson family “horrific.”
“Anyone who touches it is consequently elevated in the public’s mind to the worst of the worst,” he stated to the court.
In handing down his decision, Greaves said he had the utmost confidence in both Crown and defence lawyers as well as their joint submission to the court for the one-year conditional sentence.
He concluded that Lancaster met the conditions of eligibility to serve her sentence in the community and that she did not pose a threat to the public.
However, he told Lancaster – who remained attentive and faced the judge as he spoke throughout the proceedings – this sentence will amount to a “24-hour, seven-day lockup.”
Lancaster will be required to remain in her court-approved residence unless given prior approval to leave for work or school purposes only.
She will also be required to abstain absolutely from illegal drugs and alcohol.
Robins told the court the victims’families had not filed victim impact statements but have always asked “that Ms. Lancaster tell the truth.””
I don’t think LE will go after G&C until after the trial. Not sure if they will do time, but I do think something will be done. They really badmouthed LE and I think that will come back to haunt them.
Yeah, though I am sure that how you treat LE does often have an impact.. it’s the crime combined with provable intent that will burn them..
Yeah, I agree colhere. George, being a former police officer, should have known better than to drive a potential crime scene home and not call police as soon as he smelled the odor of human decomposition.

I think it was the wrong hairbrush,she gave the brush that everyone used,instead of the one that ONLY caylee used, and she joked about wishing she had given the police the dogs toothbrush.. something like that,, although this sounds crazy.. Maybe , I am wrong.
