Humble…Chlry said in the book the way it makes it sound…Above came when they were in the room, the third call. But, it was in the first call. I haven’t read it, but it sounds like she goes in a sequence talking about the calls and this comes in with the last call.

yes steph your correct , she doesn’t write about when cindy made that first call from the car , she is putting the 1st and 2nd together , page 16 17 and 18 , but she is in the house w/ lee and casey …no car . then chapter 4 is the 3rd and final call , and she throws in the custody thing in there …why , i don’t know

CHlry…You are so right though. I happen to think those calls are all important, because of what Cindy says in them. I would think she would distinguish them from each other.
When you look at it or when I look at it…that first call was a scare tactic and Caylee was not mentioned at all.
The second call I really don’t think Cindy knew which way to go. So we hear about the theft again and maybe a missing child.
In the third call Casey gives Cindy an out by blaming the nanny so know she can call…she has someone else to blame. At least she did for a little while. JMHO

nothing against ms fanning and i am sure she swings by here but the book was, to me, all the interviews and rick’s email pasted into word and then ‘correct grammar’ was turned on. it was a gift and I appreciated it but…as a emi-pro writer it was, well, lazy. but by all means get it if you want it
The very first date give was when CIndy was on the phone and said the 7th of June. RIght after that Casey gets on the phone and says it was 31 days ago. This is why I think CIndy started the different days and Casey went with hers…The whole time she is saying along with the 9th 31 days.

Thom I didn’t buy the book, my son bought if for me and was suppose to return it. He said he waited in the car for his friends to get there and started reading it. He said they wouldn’t take it back!
I must say it is just stuff out of the docs with DRAMA added to it!

Just finished reading the book. If you followed this case from the beginning and you read the docs and listened to interviews, not a worth while read. Nothing new. This book is for those who are new to the case and want information but not interested in reading docs or listening to interviews. I liked the flow though. You got everything in order instead of bits and pieces released by investigators.

So, for example, if Casey is convicted of ALL of the charges against her in the case under discussion, she would have 9 felony convictions, plus 4 misdemeanor convictions, for crimes involving dishonesty. Therefore, under Florida law, if Casey were to take the witness stand in her murder trial to testify on her own behalf, the prosecutor who cross examines her will ask her how many times she has been convicted of a crime for which she could serve more than one year in state prison (a felony). We would anticipate her answer to be “9 times”. Next, she would be asked how many times she has been convicted

The 9 third degree felonies are punishable by, inter alia, (among other things) a sentence of up to five years in state prison, on each count, for a total exposure of 45 years. Are you sure Mikka. I think that is when the charges are heard together…Like when she goes for the murder trial. She will have the 1st degree murder conviction and the lying to LE convictions and I think he will count all of those together. But, the fraud will be different because it is being tried separately
