Well it was an interesting morning. Baez and Lyons were on the Today show with Matt Lauer.

Baez: ABSOLUTELY NOT! He goes on to say this is a situation where LE never looked into this “WITNESS”, a critical “WITNESS” in this case, and never investigated this mans background. All we are doing is bringing it to the attention of the court

Looks to me they are still calling him a “WITNESS”. As for bringing it to the courts attention why are they on the media circuit talking all day long. They are bringing it to the attention of the public. If it was for the courts, then shut your mouth and leave it to the judge and the prosecution to read. There was not a “YES” answer to the murdering Caylee question. If they are claiming suspect, then why not a yes to the murdering Caylee question? Because they know he did not kill Caylee, nor was he involved. And with this “as much circumstantial evidence” I assume you have the paperwork of 10,000 plus pages ready to turn over the prosecution!
They have nothing but some “EX”-wives looking to make a celebrity status out of this, and a 23 year old that needs attention! I hope they all have attorneys!

So, let me see if I got this straight… Atty. Sheaffer said an atty. while in a court of law has “Qualified Immunity.”
If the atty. is in court and makes an accusation or says something that may defame someone, he/she can NOT BE SUED. However, if same statements are made outside of the courtroom…. like on TV, etc. someone may file a civil suit for defamation – slander or libel.
I couldn’t be a defense attorney, I would’ve gave up a long time ago on Casey! Guess their all willing to sell there soul over a what??? a few hundred thousand??? and to be on tv?!?!?! lol.. Poor Caylee..I’m very confident she will have her day!

The defense team filed a motion late Thursday pointing to meter reader Roy Kronk as a possible suspect in toddler Caylee Anthony’s murder. Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in her child’s death. Kronk found the child’s remains in December.
“The red flags were just unbelievable in this case,” defense attorney Andrea Lyon told WKMG from New York. “Instead of investigating them, they [the investigators] basically kind of knocked out anybody who contradicted what Mr. Kronk had to say.”
WKMG’s Tony Pipitone noted that a jury wouldn’t hear the defense team’s motion unless the judge allows it into to evidence. Pipitone also said the state hasn’t responded to the defense team’s move.
On WFTV-Channel 9, Daralene Jones said Kronk “is being picked apart by Casey Anthony’s legal team.” WFTV replayed part of Lyon’s interview with NBC’s “Today.”
In a report last night, WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer described the motion as “beyond a pathetic attempt — this is a despicable act on the part of the defense in this case.” Sheaffer said nothing connects Kronk to the Anthony family before he found the child’s remains.
WESH-Channel 2 plays snippets of Lyon and fellow attorney Jose Baez on “Today.” WESH also interviewed David Evans, Kronk’s attorney, who said the defense had built its motion on comments by Kronk’s estranged family.
“It was calculated to deflect attention away from Miss Anthony and over to Mr. Kronk,” Evans said.
In another WESH report, Evans said, “They’ve dumped a big pot of mud over his head and said, ‘Look at this guy.’ ” Evans said his client had become a witness and a victim.
Evans told WKMG, “Roy is the guy that has been selected, apparently, by the defense to be the guy to be dumped on, and they dumped on him big time.”
In a report last night, WESH anchor Martha Sugalski said the station had talked to Baez. “He claims he’s not saying Kronk is the killer but does call Kronk’s testimony questionable and says his background should be investigated,” Sugalski said.
Did they do that interview with Bill S. yesterday?? Because he said he would bet money the defense team will be on the morning shows “tomorrow”. He hit the nail right on the head! Maybe he’s the psychic D Casey was talking to!! ANd he said the first thing I said…it should have just been argued in court that as reasonable doubt…not put in a motion and shouted across the airways!

Mikka, IMO D Casey is a suspect “after the fact”. I think Casey did the deed, Cindy convered it up, then someone, George, Cindy and/or Baez, got D Casey involoved to look for the body after Casey told one of them where it was. I think it was a conspiracy between them all to find the body, move it, then continue to blame the nanny who took Caylee out of the country. BTW, poor Kronk. I think he was just a man trying to do the right thing and look where it got him. Baez showed be held responsible for all the people whose lives have been disrupted by the lies of his client.
Oh yes, I get it, Kronk made casey drive aroung with Caylee’s precious lifeless body in it. ANd yeah, I get it, Kronk also had keys to the ANthony’s home.

Sorry, I haven’t had a chance to read everyones comments. One thing I will say, is you never see the prosecution going on any TV shows the way the duhfense does.
I watched that Steph, and that is good news. I want to see police reports, I want to see the hospital records from that womans visit…I want factual info, and I want dates, times etc. I have a feeling this was not a good move on Baez part. Going to get ugly quick.
Surprisingly on Niecys site I think, or its a, Hornsby is applauding this motion, Bill S is condemning it as stupid. very confusing to me. I cant see why it should be a motion at all, they get to ask questions, just have to be factual. That is what they are skirting with this IMO.

Okay, I’ve listened to Bozo’s motion accusing Roy Kronk & I’ve watched all videos of Kronk’s ex’s etc. & am appalled & thoroughly disgusted with this case! I’m so sick of the defense “playing around” with the innocent lives whom have nothing to do with Caylee’s murder! Their constant, low blows as far as I’m concerned, are dead wrong! And, we all know, just another tactic to throw suspicion off Casey!
This case has taken on such a fantasy brought on by an unfit defense team starting with Casey’s lies & Bozo’s dirty tactics, throwing off those who do not follow the case like we do; that by the time of trial, many things will have been forgotten. Thus, a potential juror may not know until it comes up during trial. Hopefully, this will not sway any one of them finding Casey innocent! I know, none of us could bear to see that happen! I have faith tho, Caey will still be found guilty because of all proof plus more we have no knowledge of.
