Looks like the defense team could be hoping for a plea deal for Casey!
According to Baez, the defense team is discussing all options in the cases. [I do wonder if they realize that they are not the prosecution, but the defense team] I assume he is talking the fraud trial. I am unsure if they will get any deal. Casey Anthony has done nothing but lie in both cases. She claims she is “NOT” guilty of id theft, stealing money, check forgery. She has a dozen counts against her. She is caught on tape using Amy’s money at Target and the bank. Yea, I guess NOW all of sudden you will need a plea deal, because she could get the maximum in prison of 45 years! All which will be well deserved. After running the media circuit on Friday and acting like a bunch of wild animals on the loose, and pointing the finger at Roy Kronk! Do they really think the state will give them anything? Well, Ms. Lyons, get your pencil out, I assume you will be writing this plea deal for the state!
In an article I was reading, Baez says that Casey wants to see her family. She only gets to see her attorney in jail. Well boohoo! Cindy and George are very capable of getting in their car and driving over to the jail and visiting with her. He also stated that there will be NO stalling on the defense part! lol
As for the motion that was filed on 19 November, it is highly doubtful that Judge Strickland will let any of this into the Murder trail. Roy Kronk is NOT on trial for murder, Casey is!

No one would be able to tell me that I could not visit my son in jail, if I wanted to. It is so obvious that Casey would tear them apart in one of her rages. And, much to our delight, we would be able to see it over and over again. They are terrified to meet her, even with walls separating them. People say many things when enraged and overly emotional than they would normally say. I believe with Casey’s character, she wouldn’t be able to control herself. I can just imagine that visit. Casey attacking and blaming C&G for her being in jail while they are out cruising, not working, enjoying freedom and the good life. Then, Cindy would spend the whole time saying: “please, sweetheart, don’t waste this precious visit yelling at me, you beautiful, princess, you.” At this point, Casey answers with her usual greeting for her mother: “–”. They are all such a class act. Maybe in the world of white trash, [--] is an endearment.
and I think on one of the checks she signed casey anthony!!!! yeah, shes not guilty… she is not guilty of honesty..

You would think that Bozo would tell Casey to just be cool, and Conway would tell the A’s to be cool and not talk of the case. Good morning all.. Have another busy day today, so I won’t be able to stay for long.. I’m dragging butt this morning.. Seems it can’t keep up.. It’s been a LONG week..
I went to the link someone left on the last blog, (cfnews13), and about midway down the article there was a picture of Caylee and Casey.. I clicked on the link to make it larger, and just sat there and looked at it.. That poor baby was miserable.. She had some kind of mark under her right eye, there were dark circles around her little eyes, and it looks like faint bruising around her mouth, but what REALLY grabbed hold of me was looking into her eyes.. There’s no twinkle, no spark, like a normal child should have.. All I see is a very unhappy child.. She just seems empty.. I hope you all know what I mean by that.. And look at her lips how they’re “set”.. No indication of a smile, or that she even wanted to.. And the whole time I’m thinking, is this one of the times Casey drugged that beautiful baby?? Something is definitely going on with Caylee in that picture.. That face is not the face of a 2 year old child.. She looks much older in that pic.. IMO..

Muesli, the plea deal for fraud, isn’t going to happen, no way! The state has it all on tape, the only thing it could do is save Amy from facing Casey, but she will have to do that in the murder trial. So whatever they are trying to pull or push, bet it doesn’t happen. ALL must agree on a plea, not just the state and d-team, but Amy and anyone else who has filed…..I believe

I never heard of not being allowed to practice law for any other reason than you didn’t pass the bar. I find it far worse & very telling of a man’s character & moral background being refused entry for “lack of respect” for others’ rights & for the legal system. That says it all.

Hi All! Steelers ahead of KC but barely, 3pts. Anyhow, I loved how Humble wrote the preamble for this discussion. As one on the receiving end, the state decides on the plea, not the defense. If it is a slam dunk and you were a jerk about it, keeerack goes the gavel across your knuckles (for checks, the cracking is considerably higher on the anatomy for murder). As far as visits, puh-LEEZE. Upstate is not too bad, but the county was between THICK glass, over crackly phone that had the sound quality of something the Army might of rigged up for Grant to talk to Vicksburg in the 1860s. One thing, you could EARN contact visits up here. 6 months without a write up, or getting your GED were two I can remember. But then again, being in PC how does one get a write up? OOPS Steelers blowing it, gotta go….

I think it is time that someone puts WFTV-ABC reporter Kathi Belich and her sidekick Mr. Sheaffer to task for their Pro-Prosecution pandering to the anti-Anthony sentiment, rather than providing objective analysis of the legal issues in the case so that the Central Florida community can have an informed understanding of the legal issues in this case.
But rather than stoop to Mr. Sheaffer’s level and blast him for selling out his profession as a “criminal defense lawyer” to become a yes-man for Ms. Belich (I will do that at the end), I will instead provide you with an objective and informed explanation of why Mr. Baez’s newest motion is legally sound and likely to succeed. So without further ado, here goes:

Mr. Hornsby, The problem I have with that seemingly endless response is that you are taking potshots at colleagues while proclaiming to be the one who is right. It would have been more believable had you just stated you opinion along with whatever you thought supported your stance. Instead here we go again….you lose credibility when you boast of superior understanding while denigrating all other opinions. The defense can’t possibly want these people on the stand as witnesses, they will be dissected and humiliated by the prosecution. Not only do they have extensive criminal backgrounds they also have axes of various sorts to grind.
I think you may have missed the point and the reasoning behind this latest defense strategy in your rather egotistical prattle.

I had company tonight so I up late. Watched Dateline MSNBC earlier, and looked at a video clip of Edward Toth. He is a child predator, and according to the FBI agent talking with the Dateline host,very, very dangerous.He has worked as a teacher, and tutor and is very “charming”. The FBI found tons of child porn in his home, some including Toth.
