Also on 15 May 2008 Joy had CITATION(S) 3 against her. In June 2008 she was appointed a public defender. On 01 July 2008 they decided she was a mental health candidate. On 08 August 2008 there was a sealed letter from the Seminole County Mental Health Center. On 12 August 2008 she was caught driving without headlights! On 07 August 2009, after mental health was completed, request Nolle prosequi was issued, meaning they will no longer prosecute. Nolle prosequi completed August 2009.

Mikka, she has some real issues. I am unsure what her deal is, but her kids need not be around any of it. In her transcript linked on the last post, she states she wouldn’t leave her daughter with Geo thinking she [her daughter] would end up missing. Why bring her child there anyways? She is just a nut!

From what I have seen this Joy claims she has pictures but I only see pics of the memorial for the most part and I think a couple of random jungle shots?? I am really not getting what her thing is yet. So is this woman …….like mental?? She is tampering it totally seems. It is going to come down to the fact that Hurrican Fay had covered that area.
I am not sure I understand about the baby blanket. What did it look like? Does she have a pic of that blanket. This woman does not appear to be stable.

Can’t she be arrested for tampering….I mean lying about being a Search Leader and withholding a BABY blanket for Heavens sake. Prosecution should seriously think about her stability in any cross examination of this unstable person.

Hi Humble…You know I don’t think they will be able to get much on the mitigating circumstances and that is why they are doing what they can. There is no way the mitigating is going to out weigh the aggravating circumstances. Although I think they did in the Susan Smith case…she only got 30 yrs I believe.
Susan Smith also confessed. Casey will never admit to this. She thinks that the lies cover her.
It makes me made when they go around saying there are no aggravating circumstances…Maybe they won’t to know exactly what the state is going to say. But, if they are good attorneys they should have a good idea just from the evidence what the state has to say…and it was premeditated. I also think finding the remains with the duct tape is what made the state go back to the dp. Without the remains it would have been hard to get a jury to vote for the dp, imo.
She did, but she still took it to trial and received only 30 yrs…don’t know if she will get good time or not. But, the amount of time really bothers me…I hope that doesn’t happen in this case. Both of them are horrid, I don’t think one is worse than the other.
She was on a deal, right? I am just thinking the state won’t offer up a deal, unless the defense feels the urge to act as the prosecution on another motion…..
Baez isn’t experienced enough and wasn’t even when it was a child neglect case, imo. With it being so high profile because of the family and he also knew which way it was going. If he cared about his client he would have said lets hear it and than to the state given them a hypothetical situation and asked what they would do. Even with the duct tape and such he could probably gotten her a date to be paroled. Baez wanted his trial though and I really believe he told Casey from day one they could beat it. I also think if Cindy and George didn’t support her lies like they did…she might have been a bit more straight forward. Like she told Lee LE probably should have been called on her long ago. But, I don’t think she knew how far her mom would go to keep the perfect family image…You know she is regretting not taking her mom to Caylee that night. You know Cindy is wishing she never called LE. JMHO
I think if the defense came to the state and said can we work something out like LWOP…they would do it. Just because the money that has gone on in this case and still so much money to be spent. Along with having a pretty heavy case load with many other horrific crimes. But, I don’t think they will come out and offer that…they have a great case and they know it, they don’t have to.
Or do you mean Susan had a deal? I thought she did until I heard the other night when watching that she went to trial. I am going to look it up, maybe I confused the deadly women.

I have often wondered about the blanket-Q103 that was in the evidence pictures that came out about the same time of Geo,$indy and Lee’s depose was released. The Winnie the poo blanket #Q82 and the mystery blanket is #Q103. Anyone remeber seeing this picture.
In SC life doesn’t mean life…It means you have to serve at least 30 yrs of your sentence. I think in FL life mean life, at least I hope it does.

Didn’t they have the blanket from the crime scene and the blanket from the house…I believe Cindy gave them a blanket when they came back maybe with another search warrant…she was angry about it.

I have read that sindy had said that casey always carried a plaid blanket in her car. Do you think that blanket #Q103 could be the same one she was speaking about(sorry I don’t remember where I seen that written) If it was the plaid that could explain several different color fibers found in the trunk.
It could be a plaid and that would explain it…I still want to see a complete thing on the fibers which we may have and I didn’t get that far in the docs. But, I don’t think this plaid blanket was found with Caylee, it was a Winnie the Pooh blanket. It sure would be nice to find the plaid blanket if there is one. But, do you think Cindy said that because she knew the Winnie the Pooh blanket was missing from the house?

In the pictures they showed both blankets Q82 and Q103. They both were in very bad shape. Lots of deterioration on both blankets.
I don’t remember that…I remember the one blanket and they also had found some material/cloth. Was this the other blanket? Did you read all of the last docs. I never finished reading when trying to find out if the fibers were matched…there were the many of the same similar fibers in different areas, but again never had seen if they matched them together
I don’t believe anything that comes from cindys mouth ad I don’t put anything past her.

I seen both blankets in the same group of pictures as the Big trouble shirt picture of caylee,the rug,duct tape.
I remember those pictures but for some reason don’t remember the second blanket…I will go back and look. I have to run some errands first. I hate to leave because I don’t ever get to see you anymore. But, I have to…I hope you will be around later….If not take care.
I believe these pictures was in with the depos of Geo, cindy and lee. the interviews LE released right before they were on 48 hours.

Someone needs to protect Joys kids from all the internet exposure she has ” produced”. I always wondered where her husband was, she needs someone to keep her safe and out of the spotlight. AZRenee, I agree. She has never needed to bring those kids to anything involving this case. What was the purpose of her bring a picture to LE of her kid and George? I think she is in need of some serious attention, and I am not talking media. I also say she need not be driving, especially with the kids.
