After reading many, many pages of the 255 page “motions” filed, sounds to me that the defense team is now in need of knowing what the prosecutions case and arguments will be. It isn’t enough that the defense gets the evidence handed over, they want more so they can figure out what defense they can use to save the Casey! I assume the Roy Kronk is a suspect, and the Nanny did it, and the Stranger never being found, isn’t helping them in their defense.
All the way through it, it states that Miss Anthony presents the memorandum, the memorandum, alleges…etc… Why not make it easy and have Miss Anthony just present us with a GUILTY plea!
It is very clear that this is the way Lyon works it with dp cases. I am sure this is the middle of the many, many more motions to be filed. Without a case, I guess they will need to start hopping to it and get their ducks in a row, and figuring out what they will be doing in the trial! I guess I have never seem an attorney go after the Statutes of any state saying they are unconstitutional. Of course unless your client will be found guilty if fraud at 13 counts!

A) ORDER the prosecution to file a respond motion and memorandum of law within 30 days of the filing of this motion and accompanying memorandum of law;
B) allow the defense 10 business days from the Prosecutions filing of it’s responsive motion and memorandum of law to file a reply motion and memorandum of law;
C) Set a hearing date, at which time this Honorable Court may hear arguments relating to the motions and
D) Grant her motion to Declare Florida Statute 921.241 Unconstitutional

The judge is not going to grant her motion…she murdered Caylee and now she has to pay the price.

I think the whole family would be a good study…I think it started happening a long time ago…much farther back than when Caylee was born. I really believe it had a lot to do with Cindy’s behavior towards her, she competeted with Casey for attention, imo. I also believe she said things from way back like she did that day with Jesse to keep Casey in place, to make sure she knows she is worthless. When Casey made a mistake even if it was small…I bet Cindy let her have it. I still always think of what Kio said…Casey felt like she couldn’t be the perfect daughter. This is when she was younger and it just seems to fit in with Cindy’s behavior and what she wants. But, Cindy is a biotch and needs to feel bigger than everyone else because of her own insecurities. But, most people wouldn’t put up with that…your kids have no choice when they are growing up. I totally believe Casey is a product of Cindy’s own insecurities and George’s pansy arse.
well i think that had to do with the laser husband she married steph , in and out of jobs for years , she had her babies and then had to be the bread winner ..at all times . i think she was nice to lee because he was like her in a way , hard working and wanted things out of life . casey as she got older i think maybe reminded her of george , no ambition , no jobs and a liar , also always needing money . i’ll bet she resented the both of them , casey and george , and took most of her resentment on her daughter as she grew older . george just let it happen , maybe in the back of his mind he wanted to leave but couldn’t , and needed her because he couldn’t hack it alone … both giving casey the wrong message growing up

CHlry…I could see that but I think it was much deeper than that. She picked George because she could boss him around…She needs control and wanted the life his sister had. Maybe she has been angry since than, but I think it started before Casey not working long long before hand. My oldest daughter’s roommate battles issues because of a very similar situation with her mom…yes she had some very similar issues as Casey. But, she also went and got herself help.

But, it is all so strange and I think even deeper than that, I think she also had Casey have Caylee for her/Cindy. But, than Casey wouldn’t be the mother she was supposed to be. Remember the LE videos they would point something out to Cindy as not being true and she would say okay…than go on like she never heard a thing they said. Casey does the exact same thing…I think she totally learned to tell stories like that from Cindy. But, I think she is also very much like George as far as being lazy and not wanting to work.

Cindy would never have went after custody…it would not look good. I don’t think it had a thing to do with money. But, whether there was papers or not, Cindy believed Caylee belonged to her. Sheryl, I do too! I think Casey was a terrible mother and Cindy knew it! When Caylee would be coloring in the livingroom and start a crying spree, something was wrong with her. Cindy I am sure knew it and over looked it!
I don’t think Cindy would like how it looked on her if she took custody away from Casey…One thing Cindy was very proud of…what a great parent she was. I think I have done a good job raising my kids, but I can also say I have many regrets also…because I am not a perfect mom nor do I have perfect kids(of course to me they are, lol)

Had Casey had a real job, a real life and moved out, I think that all of it would have stopped. Casey wouldn’t have let Cindy see Caylee. I also think that had Casey moved out, Caylee would be alive. Casey was very spoiled to the point where the anger stepped in and Cindy wouldn’t do anything, and when George would know, it was a Casey yelling! Casey got her way, and you can tell she did, always!

Sure is frustrating watching this case move at a snail’s pace and then, to add insult to injury, have the defense putting the state of Florida on trial !! WTH?? Can they even do that? Aren’t the motions just filed ones that a supreme court would hear? Does anyone know if Strickland can even rule on them ??
Also, based on what we’ve found out about Lyon, I imagine the gloves will be off come sentencing time and anyone, especially George and Cindy, better be prepared to be dragged through the mud. I can see Lyon bringing up the fact that Casey was never held accountable for her lies and thievery while she was growing up … that anything she did would be “handled” by Cindy … I’m not sure even Lyon can turn that into “Casey didn’t know right from wrong” scenario but it should be interesting …
