Wow, the week went pretty fast. I guess it was all the motions filed by the defense team! READ the Motions.
Baez was going to be on Talk Forensics, hosted by Larry E. Daniel of Guardian Digital on Sunday, November 29th, but apparently that never happened. Thank goodness, I am not sure he is up on the forensic part of this case, but we know he sure knows about “JUNK SCIENCE“.
After reading many, many pages of the 255 page “motions” filed, sounds to me that the defense team is now in need of knowing what the prosecutions case and arguments will be. It isn’t enough that the defense gets the evidence handed over, they want more so they can figure out what defense they can use to save the Casey! I assume the Roy Kronk is a suspect, and the Nanny did it, and the Stranger never being found, isn’t helping them in their defense.
All the way through it, it states that Miss Anthony presents the memorandum, the memorandum, alleges…etc… Why not make it easy and have Miss Anthony just present us with a GUILTY plea!
It is very clear that this is the way Lyon works it with dp cases. I am sure this is the middle of the many, many more motions to be filed. Without a case, I guess they will need to start hopping to it and get their ducks in a row, and figuring out what they will be doing in the trial! I guess I have never seem an attorney go after the Statutes of any state saying they are unconstitutional. Of course unless your client will be found guilty if fraud at 13 counts!
Looks like 11 December will be a long hearing. The defense team has file 5 more motions. One for the family jail video’s to be destroyed. Another is the video taping of the Attorney/client to stop. Another is the prelude of the death penalty, a double jeopardy clause and protective order for DCasey.

Looks like Cindy and George will be in the hot seat on 11 December. They were served a subpoena. I wonder what they will have to say? I don’t like being on TV? We need special attention, we are a celebrity family? It’s no one business what we have to say to our daughter? Anything they have to say will be too much!
The State filed a motion today in response to the motion filed about dismissing the fraud charges!
States Response to Defendants motion to dismiss counts 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13 for violation of double jeopardy
It states the defendant is charged and information filed 22 September 2008. The charges consist of one count grand theft, four counts fraudulent use of personal ID, four counts forgery and four counts uttering a forged check.
It also states the double jeopardy concerns require that the trial judge filter out multiple punishments at the end of the trail not the beginning and double jeopardy protections cannot be extended to an earlier stage of the proceedings.
And that all of the crimes contain independent elements of proof. None are degrees of the same offense.

I am still on the side she didn’t leave with Caylee that night because the neighbor. The only problem is the neighbor can’t say if the second time he saw Casey leave after a fight…if it was the 15th. He thinks it was, but not 100%. But, he did say Casey didn’t leave with Caylee either time. This is what makes me think she didn’t that night even if it wasn’t the 15th. It says to me…when they got in big fights Casey took off without Caylee normally.
That Caylee was killed the night of the 15th and that Goerge never saw Caylee or Casey on the 16th as he said. His stories change all the time about that day,and her cell phone pings place her at home all day on the 16th…Unless she drove around waiting for George to go to work.. My mom actually goes as far to believe that maybe Caylee was hurt during that fight, maybe knocked down hit in the head.. and possible died in her sleep….I don’t agree but that is just her point of view

It isn’t that I believe George in anyway. I think he may not have seen them and he may have seen them. I just don’t think Caylee was enough of a priority to remember. I think the clothes he said she was wearing…it was just some clothes he remembered. But, it is just like Cindy…the first date she said was the 7th of June was the last time she saw Caylee. You would think with 30 days to remember the last time you saw the grandchild that lived with you…you would know the date. But, i do think it was the 16th Caylee was murdered and she was murdered in the house.

I believe when you put everything together it is a smoking gun. If you only had say the Zenaida page and not much else…the case wouldn’t be so strong. Or even finger prints and not much else. But, you have the computer searches long before hand…including the episode of the show with a kidnapped child. Casey’s own words before Caylee was murdered and after. Casey’s behavior after and the car along with not reporting Caylee missing. Where Caylee was found with duct tape around her mouth and with the things that were found with Caylee from the Anthony home. There is so much and I think all of this together is the smoking gun. It is just us getting it all over such a long period of time. Where the jury will get the story over a month or two. It will all fit together like a big picture.
I never have understood why the defense claims all this doesent show her guilt. isnt it true that lots of cases have been tried and convicted based on the plant.soil and bug eveidence right? I mean that alone should put her away? Also wasent it Scott Peterson that is death row and basically the way he acted hung himself??? I just dont get Bozo’s tactics????????????

They had a little more including the lies with Scot Peterson. I did watch one where they did convict on just the bug evidence. That was mainly all they had. The state was very nervous and would have liked to have more. But, they won and were very thankful for the bug evidence. Btw Haskell was the bug expert in that case.

If you think George’s memory about what Caylee was wearing was a tad faulty 30 days later (after 16 June 2008), what would you say about his memory approx. 50 days later?
I don’t have one of those date/time calculators like Humble, so I had to do an estimated time of 50 days from 16 June 2008 to 4 August 2008.
George did not mention seeing Casey and Caylee leave the house on 16 June 2008 in his initial sworn statement. Actually, the first time he talked about them leaving on that date and what they were wearing was in his interview which was conducted on 4 August 2008.
The pink top, jean shorts, white sneakers and hair in a ponytail description was straight off of Casey’s sworn statement. George tossed in the white backpack w/monkeys and the white framed sunglasses as a bonus.
There is no doubt in my mind that George would be able to remember on any given day what anybody in that house was wearing including himself!

This case has really bothered from the start,I gave birth to my daughter on the 15th of July and started seeing all this. having just brought a child into the world it just broke my heart. IMO I hope that she gets life in gen Population I hope that she has to live with this forever. The reason for my thoughts is that I always think about innocent little Caylee and my own kids and how forgiving and loving they are, and despite what Casey did I don’t think Caylee would wish her dead. Plus I think it would be worse for her in jail

The girl is going to walk on murder charges. The entire family is in on this cover up, Casey knows it. Bottom line she’s going to spill the beans last minute. I wonder if she would have been such a biotch of a mother if she would have gotten what she wanted and felt she deserved…to have a life like George’s sister. I would imagine she was pretty angry at George that he did not succeed in the business. But, the fact is that was Cindy’s idea to quit LE and go into the car business. I also believe Cindy picked a person like George because he is easy to control…Cindy NEEDS control. But, the situation isn’t all Cindy’s fault. After all George is a parent and should have done something long ago when Casey and Lee were young. It could have something to do with drugs or sex. But, I don’t believe it does, I believe it is a very dysfunctional family of narcissists and Caylee paid the ultimate price, her life. I also believe Cindy could say cruel things long before Casey was as screwed up as she is. I don’t think no matter what Casey did she cold ever have been the perfect daughter Cindy expected…Cindy was anger and deep down doesn’t like herself. She NEEDS to tare someone down to make herself feel better. JMHO
The state and LE have built a really good case and I don’t believe for a minute she is going to walk…I really don’t.

I was really hoping it was going to go straight to the video because that is where I copied and pasted, but it doesn’t. I am going to go see if we can find those videos on youtube if we have the exact title. Maybe it was like that before, but I only noticed in the last 6 months are so…video links go to the most recent news story, grrrr.
Good morning everyone. You know, when I read the negative statements about LE missing out on possible leads, etc., I have to wonder if people watch too many movies, where everything fits nicely into a time slot. This is the real life, and looking back is so easy to see things differently. Don’t forget, LE was going into this case based on a bunch of lies and coverups. They had to first distinguish between what Casey & her parents were telling them, and they had to go from there to disprove that first, so that they could actually try to follow up on the actual facts. Also, they received thousands of tips, most from a lot of kooks. Caylee wasn’t the only missing person or the only case they were working on. The police are hindered by budget cuts and personnel cuts constantly. There is no way they would have had enough people on board to follow each and every tip. They had to, based on their experience in previous cases, weed out the kooks. So, let’s remember, this is not a movie, this is for real. Let’s say for instance, there is a crime committed, and you witnessed it. LE says which way did they go? You point in a direction and say that a way. But, they actually went the other way. This is what Casey and her family have basically done. So, where do we all expect LE to follow. Why, now, does everyone think LE should have put so much stock into what Kio Marie said way back then, way before anything was really known in the case. None of us really looked that closely at Kio Marie at the time. She was just one of the thousands of pieces of the puzzel that LE had to try to puts together. Casey did not assist them one ioata. She led them “that a way”.

GM Muesli…I agree for the most part. I still don’t think Kio’s statement has been thrown out…or has it and I didn’t know. I do think they could have looked hard in that area because of Kio’s statement…Often murderers do put their victims in places that make them feel safe. I also believe Cain should have done a H*LL of a lot more than he did, but he is/was a lazy cop that didn’t want to do his job. Having said that, I do believe LE has done a great job in this case. As much as they were hearing Casey’s stories…they knew it was lies and I don’t think put a lot of stock in them. I believe that is why they went to the friends immediately trying to piece everything together to find where she placed Caylee. Again…I believe they have done a great job from the start. Will there be mistakes…yes we are all human. We just pray in cases like this they are not mistakes that will cost the case. Which I don’t see any of those. I believe they have been very careful.

Hi Florida is a joke! Welcome! I am going to disagree, Caylee was not used for payment of any find. Casey killed her, plain and simple. There are secrets in the family. What is going to get her the DP is the fact she waited 31 days, partied, had decomp in the car, not to mention lied up a storm, and all the other evidence they have against her. Yes, LE does have more evidence and there is a reason they put the DP back on the table. I also believe that Casey did this alone and no one else helped her unless it was her friend Annie Downing, or Lee or even Cindy. KioMarie statement is not thrown out. She is still on the witness list. If Casey get off for anything it will be the DP and she will serve the rest of her life living a nightmare in prison, wondering who will get her.
