Michael Ruggiero conducted a sworn, recorded interview with Deputy Sheriff Joseph Danjou at the OCSO Sector II substation, located at 10244 East Colonial Drive, Suite 205, Orlando, Florida.
Deputy Sheriff Danjou was working with Deputy Sheriff Cain on 15 December 2008, and were providing security for the Anthony residence as well as the location where the remains of Ms. Caylee Anthony were in the process of being recovered. Deputy Sheriff Cain mentioned a call he had handled on Suburban Drive in August. Deputy Sheriff Danjou advised, “He (Deputy Sheriff Cain) responded out to the scene, met with the complainant, um, the complainant told
him where the area was and then he went into the woods, saw a black bag. Um. I guess the complainant had mentioned something about a snake, so Rich grabbed his, uh, got his asp, expanded it and then cut the trash bag and lifted it and found decomposed leaves inside the bag and then I guess he cleared the call a short time later.”
Deputy Sheriff Danjou stated this conversation was initiated by Deputy Sheriff Cain and he had
no other information.

Why would you pick it up and cut it with a knife? If Caylee had been in that bag he could have cut her and destroyed more evidence. The State Attorney’s Office is scheduled to release more documents in the Casey Anthony case today.
The state will release about 30 pages today, adding to the more than 10,000 pages that have already been made public, a spokeswoman for the State Attorney’s Office said. The evidence is being made public in response to a public records request made by the Orlando Sentinel.
Casey Anthony, 23, is awaiting trial on a first-degree murder charge in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. The toddler was missing for 31 days before Casey Anthony reported it to authorities.
Casey Anthony told Orange County Sheriff’s Office a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez kidnapped her daughter. Deputies determined that person does not exist.

Stephanie, actually we usually have only one meter reader, not co-workers and supervisors. Didn’t Kronk call in to his supervisor before calling LE the last time. I’m not sure of that, but will try to look it up.
Also, as for Deputy Cain. I’m not so sure about that. Wonder how many crank tips he had already followed up on. Also, it is true that he did call in to ask a supervisor what he should do. Don’t know who he called. It was never stated.
Like everything else in this case, we always seem to get only one side of the coin, or just bits and pieces which we all try to put together to make sense of it all. A lot of what we blog about is just conjuncture, based on the information we have at hand. I can hardly wait to see how close some of us have come to the truth of some of this when the trial happens. I wonder what the most compelling piece of evidence will be to convict Casey. Maybe we will all be surprised in the end.

Stephanie, the above post states that his co-workers and supervisor were there on Dec. 11, when he found the remains. I feel sorry for Kronk. Even if Cindy had anything to do with leading him to the site, he was just being used as a flunky. I think he is just a simple person who thought he could collect some reward money. That doesn’t make him a bad person, just a naive one.

I don’t know…Are the meters in the back of the houses? I would assume they are, but I don’t even know what kind of meter he was reading. Our water is in the front and everything else in the back. If I remember correctly the woods start by the back of the Anthony house…or in other words their house backs up to them. He was probably thinking about the money, but I don’t care. I am just glad he continued to believe Caylee was in those woods and continued to go in there.

Well, when Casey goes to prison, she will be about 80 miles from the home front. They will have to call the media and make sure they know that they will be visiting her and the camera crew will be outside the prison…plus I believe they won’t have to have video visits!
