Well, we know Baez is up to no good. OrlandoSentinel had an article today about Baez fighting the attorney/client privilege. We know that Casey was out last year for a month or more and they had all the time in the world, every Monday-Friday, to get their story straight.
If Casey is so INNOCENT, nothing should be bothering them. According to Baez, Casey isn’t receiving adequate defense. Well that goes way far back to when she picked him to be her defense attorney, that has nothing to do with the jail.
According to the jail, Baez has been told to request a different room, but of course he doesn’t feel he would need to, He is Jose Baez, ya know!
“We have followed jail policies and rules very carefully and directly and we intend to continue to do so,” Allen Moore said about jail practices. “We have always attempted to accommodate Mr. Baez’s requests, but never outside of jail policy.”
According to Baez, the jail officials are steering him and his client into a different room, one with cameras, and he objects to the surveillance. Of course we know that Baez can’t read the rules, nor can he figure out how to request a different room.
AND lets not forget that Baez had to be warned last year by jail officials, to stop touching his client.
Tomorrow is the big court hearing! It starts at 930 am Florida time. I assume, as always, the d-team will be late!

She acts too confident in her courtroom appearances to actually realize the seriousness of her situation. Also, if G&C and Conway are subpoenaed relating to Dominic Casey, as has been reported, then why wasn’t Dominic Casey also subpoenaed. I was over at Niecey’s site and asked the same question. If Biaz was exchanging letters between Cindy and Casey, that is in violation to jail rules. Perhaps that was one of the issues brought up before the bar. As one blogger stated somewhere out in blogdom, the lawyers are trained in jail house rules and regulations. Don’t forget, he also smuggled in a bracelet to Casey tucked into her clothes for her bond appearance. These are criminal acts, IMO.

I’m going to keep my computer on to whatever station is sending the hearing, and also the TV tuned to TRU TV. The problem with TRU is that they break for commercials. But, the problem with the computer, is it many times stops to buffer, and usually during an important part of the hearing. I’ll also keep a note pad handy to take notes. Boy, if that isn’t multi-tasking.
I’m also not taking any phone calls, not answering the door, and the dog can pee on the floor for all I care. I will not be disturbed.
I have forgotten, but isn’t Dominic Casey supposed to be deposed around the 16th of this month, or has that been postponed again?

Mikka, Their arguments are weak except maybe the Lawyer/client thing which I think the Judge will still video tape it but make the jail house just hold on to it.
