Well, we know that Casey had a bad day in court! The tears flew, the anger level rose, and the facts came out! It is just due time before there is JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE! [Yes it is still about Caylee]
I must hit on the motion for the videoing and the fraud trial! Baez states that he wants his “MY GIRL” to be treated like the rest. Judge Strickland said she will. Jail time and fines, she has no priors.
BUT it wasn’t long before that, they were up at the pulpit wanting “no video taping” of the visits from Family and friend. And that hey don’t want their attorney/client session “video taped”! They want the video’s of the visits with family and friend destroyed. WHY? Is there something to hide? Casey is 100% innocent, so it has been said on national tv. What could they hide and what could get them in trouble? Baez has been told to request a different room for his little attorney/client visits. Camera’s do not record the attorney/client visits, they are just monitored.
Tamara Gappen, OC, said “Orange County can’t just be required to modify its jail security procedures for one inmate.”
So why do they want no video taping for their infamous client, but they want their client to be treated right? Giving her special privileges, but treat her right! Cindy and George have not gone to the jail because they will be video taped, come on get a better excuse than that! Cindy will go on national TV and lie her head off, why can’t she play the grieving grandma at the jail??!! I am going to call all of this hog wash…Baez and his group of attorney’s are trying very hard to make themselves famous. They are about themselves. There is no need to stop the videoing at the jail, nor watching them either. Baez has already been chastised for hugging his client, what more does he plan to do? I guess Cindy and George will have to wait until the prison setting is set up and she is there before they visit!

mikka, Good morning to you, and hearts back to you. I don’t know how to make a heart. That hearing yesterday was emotionally draining. And, this is only a drop in the bucket of things to come. I have to admit that I really do feel for Cindy and George (in spite of all their previous stupid antics). What they had to hear yesterday must be unbearable, because they know that someone killed her, but don’t want to know the details–they are just too painful. But, the details have to come out–this is a murder trial. I don’t know how they will be able to sit through the actual trial, and still keep their sanity. I wouldn’t be able to.

Up to now they never really had to hear the details of what Caylee endured at the end of her life. So now reality has been laid out. I would find it unbearable to sit through it myself. But you find the strength. look at Scott Petersons parents, they had to listen to what a monster their son was, and what he did to his beautiful wife Laci and unborn son Connor. they sat there day after day, as did her parents. In my opinion, they have way more eveidence on cma than they did on SP. He’s on death row. The a’s have to put Caylee back in the equation and see that she gets Justice. It’s only about her. No one else.
Good morning all! Well things are starting to happen! What a wonderful day for Caylee (poor baby has had so few). I had a few observations to make. One I think D.Casey is a real smoking gun and BozoChorizo was real upset that he couldn’t be there. I truly believe that kc told them where she put the baby. The other thing is Lyons may be a genius but she is BORING and I think could put a jury to sleep. The state on the other hand can keep you on the edge of your seat. Jeff (?) did a wonderful job in 2 minutes yesterday describing what probably happened to Caylee. And Humble I loved that you captured the ANGRY kc, prior to crying. I got the feeling bozo whispered “no, no, sad – not mad”! right before. I really thought if that could have gone on a little longer she would have jumped up in a fit of anger and really flipped, maybe that’s why Lyons was holding her arm.

One of the problems with our society is that there seems to be a preconceived notion of what a murderer looks like. When you get murderers who are decent looking, i.e., Scott Peterson, Ted Bundy, Casey Anthony, people find it more difficult to believe that these good looking people are capable of such atrocious crimes, just because they don’t meet up to their conception of the crazed killer look. That fallacy has to be overcome, and jurors have to concentrate on the facts and evidence. One does not need a motive or a cause of death to convict. Example: Scott Peterson. We can guess at his motive, but the cause of Laci”s death was never established. How can Ms. Lyon state that there is no proof of this murder being heinous? A two year old’s death is, by definition, heinous. They are helpless, and at the mercy of their murderer, regardless of how they were murdered. This is going to be one messy, tedious trial.

The eyes looked the same as the infamous jailhouse video meltdown. Then the tears. cma’s not used to other people having control. This time she cannot manipulate the situation. Ashton was right on, beleivable, and to the point. The duh team is spitting in the wind. Their theories are shot. Let them try to stand up to Ashton and company in front of jurors and claim cma’s innocence. There’s no way. If they have the proof, like they claim, let them bring it on.

mikka, I think anyone can leave the courtroom at their own free will at anytime. I am sure this will be only one of many times the A’s will have to leave. There is going to be so many horrid things said at trial, that no one so close to this case (grandparents, etc.) is going to be able to emotionally handle it. Look at us, we can hardly stand to hear it and vision what took place. I do feel for them in this regard. There is no amount of money that could take that type of pain away.

Eye, if you look at the latest pictures that came out of Caylee, she is a big girl. I am believing that something was up with restraining her. Casey couldn’t have done it all without it. If Casey is innocent, as Baez & Lyons are claiming, then there is no problem with videoing.
Baez was the sole person who stopped the Anthony’s from visiting Casey….and Casey may have been the one who didn’t want to see them because she had stated that Cindy & Lee interrogate her when they visit her. George didn’t so she could wrap him around one of those “think of us as a business, using your hand” fingers.
Lets get real here…..Baez/Lyons are in a corner…almost like being duct taped in. I hope they realize how Caylee felt when she was taped also…..and somehow that hypodremic that was found in the black bag will play a big part in this too.

Thanks for the great write up and common sense points you make about CA/GA not visiting KC. I think it boils down to that Cindy knows damned well she can’t go there without saying “Tell me what happened to Caylee?”.
About the work on the duct tape. It actually should be very accurate because I took great pains to make sure everything was normalized via pixels. So, it matters not what the “spec” is for the tape, as long as every single picture I analyzed is to the same scale. And they all are.
I scaled all pictures back to Q62 (just because it was the first piece of tape I was working with). I did this by measuring the pixels for the width of the tape. I then scaled every other picture to where I achieved the same pixel width for the tape. I also had to rotate pictures to get the tape as close to horizontal as I could.
While I cannot adjust the error that will be introduced due to creases and curves in 3D (i.e. if the tape curves in or out of the page), I could take out most “gross” errors by my methodology. For instance, you’ll note on Q64 I actually had to cut the picture in half and adjust each end of the tape. This is because of the severe curvature near the middle of the piece of tape. I believe that curvature is Caylee’s face.
Anyways, just wanted to share that so that the method I used can be understood.

I have the scaled pictures such that if you click on the picture, you go to the original picture size used in the analysis. That way anyone who needs to for their own comfort can see that they are to scale.
One last thing is that the two pieces of tape that I think the 3D error could be introduced is Q64 (but near the middle, because as I said I think it is a virtual “mold” of Caylee’s face – but I do not believe the 3D error is introduced at the ends) and Q66 from the gas can. There are other pictures where they are holding the Q66 piece with tweezers and you can see it has a set curvature because it was curved over the vent hole.
In practicing full disclosure, I think that should be noted by the reader.

Great Write-up Humble. One thought is that none of the recordings of attorneys’ and casey meetings were ever released…. prosecution/news media should have restated that and that only public info/Florida law info was…jail recordings of visits etc.

Please someone tell me where from the moment Cindy’s FIRST MEDIA interview after the 31 days missing call took place…..WHERE WERE HER TEARS FOR HER GRANDAUGHTER? Remember Caylee was supposed to be kidnapped……BUT THEY NEVER PLEADED TO THE KIDNAPPERS FOR HER RETURN??????
G & C what you experienced in Friday’s courtroom is only a smithering of what you will be hearing and seeing once the autopsy photos are shown to the jurors.
