It is going to be 72 here this afternoon…the normal high is 57 for this time of the year. We have gone from freezing to warming way up, but will be cooling way down again, lol

are you baking christmas cookies steph??? Im gonna start mine Monday…double batches and I make around 14 different kinds…my mom used to make half but cant anymore
If I dont make everyone’s favorite they feel slighted…Id like to hand them the recipe sometimes
I have not started on cookies yet…lots of poppy seed bread and a oatmeal chocolate chunk cranberry bars. Next weekend I will make all the batters for the cookies and start baking them Tuesday before Christmas

the very best and worst thing on my list to make are sauerkraut balls…they are so darn good tho…you serve them hot with a mustard sauce…swear I could go in business just making them..
I don’t know why but I think cookies turn out better after they have been refrigerated. Plus the fact like you said when they are baked to early they seem to go stale faster…we don’t have the preservatives in them like store bought cookies. Sauerkraut balls sound good…maybe you should go into business.
I make 4 times what they recipe is and everyone always wants more…they are a pain in the arse tho..you make a sausage and sauerkraut stuffing and then roll them in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs and then fry them..had a german girlfriend and she showed me how to make them 30 years ago..
My mom should be able to make those, but my oma always did the cooking and never really showed my mom how to cook many things, lol.

The Hinky Meter is REALLY interesting. Someone went to alot of trouble. It seems that the crime lab can do more than just measure the lengths. Could they not microscropically match up each tiny tears of the ends too?

December seems to be a good month for babies.. I have 3 children and a nephew who have birthdays this month, and then my youngest son’s birthday is Jan 3.. The day AFTER my middle sisters birthday, and 20 days BEFORE my baby sisters birthday.. From Dec 4th, (two children born on that day, 2 years apart), until the end of Feb, (including mine and mom’s birthday), I’m BROKE..

George, Cindy and Lee’s fingerprints were not found on the tape which would seem to mean that some testing was done to determine this.
So if you have no latent prints why test individuals’ prints against the tapes at all?
nope i did not find out. i wanted to, it being a surprise and the last baby, but hubby said no!! probably better!! lol for my siblings and i it goes….. boy girl boy girl boy… so i guess i have a 50/50 chance this time as i have the 2 girls already!! they want a brother real bad!!

Blink has some very good sources so I tend to believe a lot of what she says and she is still standing by the fact that they do have Casey’s prints. I’m pretty sure they are on a piece of tape.
I was watching parts of the court videos again and when Ashton started talking about drugging Caylee Casey’s face didn’t reveal anything. It wasn’t until he started talking about the duct tape that she hid her face. I’m kind of believing that the chloroform didn’t play a role in her death or she would have reacted. Remember when they were going to search the Little Econ River there was no reaction from her? It wasn’t until she heard they were searching in the right place that she reacted. If you watch Friday’s video again you’ll see she doesn’t bat an eyelash about the chloroform. Interesting.
I agree Bees, I noticed the same thing. Hearing about the tape alerted her that the state has figured more than she thought they would and took her back to that day. I don’t know if she was crying because she was recalling the event or because she knew that THEY KNEW.

I stopped blogging almost a year ago when I realized this trial probably wouldn’t happen until 2011 what with all the “free” spin-master defense types climbing onboard the cma train. But I have kept up, I’m an admitted lurker, I’ve read the book, etc.
The hearing on Friday really jolted me, because finally kc was confronted by the prosecution with just a taste of their version of what probably happened to Caylee in June of 2008, and her saying “make them stop” was incredibly telling of what her life had been like up until now. All of her friends have admitted in interviews that they knew she lied, both her parents, grandmother, brother…I’ll just say everyone she was related to have told LE & the FBI that she was a liar, yet not one of them confronted her except maybe Cindy, who would then go on to cover up for her. Her MO was lying to get through life, & she even had something on her Facebook or MySpace page attesting to that.
What I saw on Friday was rage when she fully expected one of her attorney’s to object when Ashton began his vivid description, & probably horror when she realized that this time she was finally going to have to face the music of her own actions at long last. Even Cindy was white as a sheet, and the drama has just begun.
They were there to argue the DP, and personally I would like to see her live out her life in prison, but another side of me would love to see the smug Lyons 100% batting average blow up in her face. She looked pretty flustered when Kathi Belich called her out for giving her the elbow…I think she has reason to be flustered, because there’s a pretty good chance that Judge Strickland will let the jury decide the penalty phase of this case.
When this finally goes to trial, I expect to hear weeks of testimony about the body being moved while kc was in prison, and the defense will try to instill that one/any little element of doubt in the juror’s minds, but if I were a juror on this case it would always go back to those 31 days where kc told noone, & lived her life like the party had just started. Her own mother did her in with the 911 call, saying that it “smells like a dead body” has been in the d**n car, & George’s first interview with the FBI when he was truthful with them about kc’s real character defects. jmo, but it will be those 31 days that will convict.
I just hope that the trial will be televised here in CA, but if not, I’ll probably be able to catch it on the internet. I think it’s going to be way more dramatic than OJ’s, and that was a doozy!

Bee’s I am thinking chloroform did play apart, I also believe that Casey thinks she WAS smarter than your average murder, because she held off on the crying episode. Oh I believe Casey has a great memory of Caylee looking at her, trying to breath!

As for the prints, there has to be someone on the tape or there wouldn’t have been anything to compare the C&G and Lees too.

I think Casey started to cry, one, because Bozo told her to, and then when she started to hear about the tape, it took her back to what she did. Hopefully, emotionally she’s starting to crack, due to being locked up, having scabies, gaining weight, and not being able to steal and party.
But then again, I think it was all an act. And what the frick was up with lyin Lyons, holding Caseys arm and giving her comfort.

Casey is an angry, angry person and the court hearing is proof.
Deb – I agree. She wasn’t expecting to hear all of that from ashton on how it happened. Also, she was mad initially, she didn’t want to hear it. For her it is gone from her mind as was appearant from her behavior after (the 31 days). She didn’t want to be forced to revisit it. By her comment “make him stop” & no one being able to stop him, including herself is beyond her normal reactive behavior. she usually could yell & lash out. It will be very interesting to see how she holds up thru out all of the details during the trial. Ashton challenged her “story” & she was fuming! Caylee was “hers”, and just as with how Cindy thinks that she owns caylee & anything to do with her, casey might believe that she was “hers” to do with as she wanted & no one should question her about it.

Lyons is as big, if not bigger then a linebacker. That’s alot of woman or man, whichever way you want to look at it. Her hands are huge, for a female.
She needs a makeover. Not all woman that age look good with long, flowing locks. Some do, she’s not one that does.

Hello Everyone…I am not sure if she duct taped Caylee’s hands or not. But, I am still really thinking she drugged Caylee whether it be chloroform or something like benadryle.
I have wondered if the duct tape was either used to bound Caylee or if it was used to bound the top of the trash bag. I can’t remember what the trash bags looked like at the top. But, when Kronk kicked the bag Caylee’s skull came out. I will look in a little while and see if they found the top of the bag…I believe the Anthonys used the type that tied.

Hi everyone! I think that chloroform or something has been used on Caylee numerous times. I also believe when she was with the “SO CALLED” nanny, she spent her time in the trunk of that car! As for her arms, I have no idea! I think that Casey did what she had to do to get rid of Caylee!

The prosecutor brought up a great point that I never thought about before. Something to the effect of…a child that age should have been able to remove the duct tape, so Caylee must have been impaired in some way, if she couldn’t remove the tape. That is 10 times smarter than anything Baez could ever come up with…

Hi Humble! Notice Baez has yet to come up with anything definitive as far as why Casey couldn’t have done this. Casey continually lied about the last time she saw Caylee and Caylee was last seen with Casey. There is absolutely no proof that anybody else had access to Caylee from the time she was last seen with Casey until her death.
Did anyone else notice how Casey grabs her own wrist when Aston mentioned Casey must have been restrained? I noticed it Friday & being busy have not read all posts to see if anyone else posted about seeing what I saw. Anyway, I think it was an instant reflex on Casey’s part given without thought but in her own mind that she did restrain Caylee with tape during or before taping Caylee’s mouth.
Then I think when she noticed what she may have done by this touching her wrist, pulled it ever so gently back down again with the dumbest “rutroh” look on her face..
Sometimes when someone mentions something we sometimes automatically touch that part of our body without thinking.. I know I raised four boys & automatic reflex impulses helped me get to the bottom of things many times over.
Hi ScRaMa! I didn’t see that, but that is a good point. I don’t think Casey has a conscience, but I think the discussion of how Caylee spent the last moments of her life, hit home for Casey. She probably knows she can’t weasel her way out of this.

I think the combination of the new hairdo and aging makes Cindy look so different. George has aged a lot too.
I think she changed her hair and wore no makeup to look thinner and garner a more sympathetic audience.

A jury will see right through all the courtroom theatrics. Not only was Casey partying for 31 days, but she didn’t lift a finger to find Caylee and was emotionless when discussing Caylee with LE. LP said Casey never mentioned Caylee when she was home from jail. Those factors will also loom large in the minds of the jury.

Hi All, I saw this when bozo and Casey at the table and lyon doing her talking and talking the minute lyon said Casey loved Caylee and needs to be told she is loved!! Casey stated to try and cry and Bozo leaned in at her ear and when he was leaning away don’t know what was being said maybe good job with the crying but when he pulled away he had a smile on face for just a second!! My hubby and I record it so to be able to rewind or stop it, we have looked at this many times and that we believe is what he did!! As anyone else seen this?
