Judge Strickland denied the Defense team their attorney/Client no videotaping of visits. It states that the Court is of opinion that it cannot force the Orange County jail to cease and desist from videotaping that attorney/client visits. [On other words, if they want a different room, the Attorney needs to request it] There will be a delay in the release of these video’s until AFTER the trial. The judge has stated that no video will be released of counsel and defendant without in camera viewing by the undersigned. Judges response
Just to also clear this up, the Judge has RULED on the videotaping of the family visit. It is denied and the family visits will be taped and are available to the public. Bob Kealing, the nut from WESH, made a statement yesterday on the News stating that the Judge did not rule. Well Mr. Kealing the judge RULED and it was denied. There was no separate motion filed if the video’s would be released to the public.

They are one in the same motion-DENIED. He has not gone into detail, so it does not mean that the video’s will not be released. There was no specific motion for the release of the video’s it was all in one. The videos become public record and are available to the public.

While Ms. Wray would like to convince others that she was searching for Caylee in the woods off Suburban Drive within two days of Caylee’s reported disappearance (7/18/08), the truth of the matter is that Ms. Wray was, at that time, participating in a court-ordered mental health diversion program which did not end until 8/12/08.
The Seminole County records also reveal that her husband John has a substantial record of child abuse, domestic violence and battery, making his interest in accompanying her on one or more of the searches for Caylee equally suspect.
In any event, it is highly unlikely that either of these potential witnesses would be allowed to testify in court without a mental health professional first attesting to their emotional and mental stability and competency to do so.”

Maybe this will be a scathing reply. I think Judge Strickland is tired of the motions. If Lyons wants to debate the DP he is the wrong judge to speak to. After conviction would be the time to do it. No one is claiming she is innocent particularly, just that maybe someone else made a mistake they can capitalize on. Sickening. I think a plea deal may come, Casey has to have had a reality check with this last hearing. If Strickland rules appropriately that no bad faith is evident on the prosecution to allow DP sentencing in this case, she has to seriously decide if she wants to chance death.
I agree, Humble. Judge Strickland seemed in tune with the Prosecution and not impresses with Lyon’s ramblings.

OMG I was just looking on youtube, she has the same pics on videos in support ofherself under several names, including JWnews 7. She apprently has a news channel created to spotlight her vidoe presence…really??? She even has the same pics in her own video in a video by Joysfan…(insightful name) claiming everyone is jealous of Joy because she is hot and we are not…really? This woman is scary. Its not enough she has pics of herself and her children, the video from joysfan ( a supposed high school acquaintance) also has pics of her entire family–about 25 of em….someone needs to help her.

Hi all! Just stopping in for a sec.
I have seen Joy on all the blogs from the beginning. She started a blog on Chatango. Her way of dealing with negative comments about her are to either avoid them or threaten legal action.
I am truly concerned about her. She does not understand what she is doing and with how desperate the defense is Joy may just find that she has become the patsy. I for one want the real killer behind bars, not some innocent mental nut.
Humble, do you think Judge Strickland will lambaste on the DP motion? I have a feeling he is about to blow…JMO. They presented no facts that the prosecutors acted in bad faith, as a matter of fact we all expected the DP back once the body was found.

I feel sorry for her as well, but the whole interjecting herself with LE needs to stop. Maybe they can get an order of protection for the courthouse and the sherriffs department. I would not be surprised to see her lose it in the courtroom, simply for the attention.
What is scary, I hope she doesnt envy Casey the attention she is getting in this case, I would not want to see her children harmed in any way. She makes you think about these things with her obsession.

Hi ya Sheryl, she, the mental nut, won’t go to jail, but she could spend more time in a rubber room. She needs help and she needs to take care of her kids. I feel for her kids, as I don’t think they receive the attention she should be giving them. The only way she could go to jail, is to break the law, and I do not think she has yet, but I could be wrong. She has done alot of nutty things and they don’t arrest you for wanting attention…if they did, the A’s would have ben jailed along time ago!

Had to buy treats and put together “treat bags” for school CHRISTmas parties tomorrow.
I found the cutest 24″ stick horses and stick unicorns! I bought them for my 4-year-old’s class. I can just see them now…21 4-year-olds gallopping around the room on stick horses… The teacher will love me for bringing such a stimulating activity to the party. lol
