We must remember when we read this, who Joy is and what her key position in this case is, to fetch media attention.
Part 1:
Why would Joy be in the woods on 18 July 2008, just 3 days AFTER Caylee was reported missing? What would bring her there? Was she planting the stuffed animal bag, trying to throw people off the trail of Caylee?

As we all know, I stink at the number thingy, ask Valhall! Lol But is Joy saying she searched a whole acre? Lets get the numbers here: 1 acre = 43560 square feet. Was she counting how many feet she searched by counting her steps, or did she get the ole measuring tape out, or maybe she had a measuring wheel she held, or was she exaggerating? Still I am confused at to why she would be out there on 18 July 2008.
Part 3:
Now why is she dropping off food and stuff [what is this stuff] for the Anthony’s? They were not incapable of buying food, or running to the media dropping their lies? Does she have a key to their house? And why today does she know the time between 1-2 pm on 11 August 2008?
Part 4:
Now she claims to see a guy in the woods on Suburban Dr. She doesn’t say his name, but today if we had to think about it, who would she name? Dominic Casey? Was he acting odd or is she just odd. What exactly is this odd acting business? How come she doesn’t mention the guys name? Was it Lee Anthony, or Dominic Casey, gosh for all we know it was George Anthony!
Part 5:
She has all the dates for everything else, how come no date on when she spoke to George, just September 2008. And how come no names of these mysterious dress planters? If she was the “team leader” of her TES group, you would think she would be able to remember who she searched with! Or why not make a call and tell Tim Miller that people are planting a dress to make it look like whose? Caylee’s? Or were they planting the one that Cindy held up on the TV?
Part 6:
So while Joy was keeping a watch out on people, she was collecting no money. She did her searches on a volunteer basis. She just wanted to know what happened to Caylee. She also goes on to say that she believes that Caylee was placed there in October, really throws a wrench in the Roy Kronk did it finger pointing episode. She also said she noticed a smell she had never smelled before. But in all the searching she took pictures and a video on 8 November 2008. NOW why would she take pictures? Or a video?
I guess she forgot to mention to the Judge that he could see these pictures and video for a small fee. But don’t worry, Joy will have her book coming out next year and you can buy her book and see the pictures. I am not sure if this will be a coloring book she is putting out or if it is a paint by numbers book! But whatever the book will be, I for one will not buy it, nor do I feel she needs to make any money off of Caylee, especially since she did not ever know or meet Caylee.
Humble, do you think the Anthony’s are truly aware of Joy Wray and all these other hanger’s on, and the reasons why these people are coming out of the woodwork just to be able to be associated with them, and the fame of this case. Don’t the Anthony’s realize that most of these people have ulterior motives for down-the-line tell it all’s as a way to cash in, just as they have done? I suspect, in my skeptical mind, that there are some who seem to gain a sense of pride that they have had personal contact with these people. The only reason I can think of is because, as I have stated, there might be something in it for them.
Judge Strickland is a very intelligent and learned person of law. He most certainly is aware of the reason Biaz won’t allow Cindy and George to visit Casey, just as we are. The fireworks would be the best show in this case, if that visit were to take place. Of course, Casey has the final say in whether her family, or any other persons, can visit her. Biaz has only so much power over her. Unfortunately, she seems to have absolute faith in Biaz and everything he advises her. Miss Anthony is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and Biaz knows this. If at the end of this case, she tries the “ineffective counsel” ploy, I think Judge Strickland will have to remind her of her affirmation in the bond hearing that she wanted, as she likes to express it “most definitely”, to continue to retain Mr. Biaz as her attorney.
By the way. definitely does not require a “most”, “more”, “almost”, etc.. It is what it is (unless you are President Clinton, and want to redefine the English language).

Morning chiry. What bothers me a lot is that she is getting all the attention which she is seeking. Also, just a note to anyone here who is having a difficult time with paying for childcare. Just go to your local courthouse and drop the kids off. The taxpayers will be happy to pay for it. Did any of you see the pictures of that daycare? It was totally outfitted with every possible toy and furniture, and the room was huge.
Oh, forgot, don’t forget to write a letter while the kiddies are there.

Also, why doesn’t just one of these interviewers ask George & Cindy how they are getting on without working? Bet Kathi Belich would just love to interview them. Of course, they are all afraid of her. Hi Smoke & Mirrors. I’ve been doing some things around the house, so I left here for a while. Have to leave again in a little while. Gee, I’m really surprised about the distance Joy lives from Hopespring Dr.. I really had the impression that she lived right in the vincinity. I hope she just disappears soon. She is really not worth writing about–just a diversion from the case, as with so many other hanger’s on. I did read that article about the shoot out. Why don’t I really believe anything from that person. Show me the scars she said they still have. Anyway, I sure hope Judge Strickland releases his decisions on the last 2 motions. I think he will offer to seal any future family visits. That would really call their bluff. Then we will see how often they go visit Casey. Bet, they still won’t. Why, because someone would be bound to leak any confrontations heard on Casey’s side, be it an inmate or a jailer. Just my opinion.

Ok you bring up an excellent point. Caylee was reported missing only three days before – then Joy goes out into the woods, to the exact spot Caylee’s body was found…right. Keep in mind, this was when Cindy was on news and tv shows INSISTING that Caylee was alive and she KNEW Caylee was alive and how dare ANYONE think Caylee was dead. It makes no sense. I seriously hope Joy gets locked up or committed. We can’t have people seeking fame and trying to influence murder trials.

I really enjoyed reading that Joy felt entitled to drop her son off at the courthouse for babysitting, so she could write her manifesto to Judge Strickland without her child under foot. Really??? Is that what daycare at the courthouse is for??? If your cant write a one page letter while watching your child, you really need a nanny…maybe Casey could give her some references..shes in the Nanny sect.

One of my burning questions is why Joy would be in that location on the 18th when KioMarie didn’t even speak to law enforcement about the significance of the area until the next day – and then it took some time after that before it was made public.

Well Joy does seem the athletic type, so whacking down weeds and near trees growing in the path of an acre of swampy woods should have been no problem for her. I would imagine it would take one person, with a diesel powered weed wacker, oh…..20-30 days to search that far. Im in the minority about the DP though. I think the jury will wonder if Casey is stupid enough to have neglected her child, accident happens, Casey tries to cover it up. Im starting to soften a bit on Lee. Not a popular opinion, but I think he was raised in an environment where Casey was treated like a piece of china, I think in he got in on the covering up, then realized the only person he was hurting was himself. I hope he has seen the light. I dont think he wants the rest of his life to be about Casey as IM sure it has been up till now. Maybe wishful thinking, but I hope he does feel for Caylee and see how dissed he has been by his sister all this time.
OT but I have a sister who threatens suidice, drama queen, all about her etc etc. It took turning 40 before I stopped the madness and took to ignoring her. If you are raised to treat an individual with kid gloves, I think it takes a long time before you learn to change your behavior. JMO, but maybe Id like to see some one come out of this tragedy better off. So many peoples lives effected by Caseys reckless behavior.
I agree AZ, although I’m not for the dp, I do believe she deserves it. However, without it, I believe there’s a better chance of conviction as well as a life time of h*ll for Casey as she watches everything she could have had but lost. I also think it would save the state of Florida a bucket load of money in appeals as well as removing ALL hope for Casey.
It really takes a moment from time to time to reflect on what you have read..I am so ready for this case to start….when Jessica Lunsford trial started i was amazed by how John Couey acted trying be insane..why that man was no more insane than i am…..and in the dainelle Van Damm case David Westerfield had a I could careless attitude….so im ready to see how Crazey reacts in the courtroom …
