Today is the day that the state was suppose to talk to the Jill ‘needs attention’ Kerley! Ms, I am too sick to travel, but not to flap her big mouth! It sure will be interesting to hear what she tells the state, and to see if the state treated her with “white” gloves or if they made her answer so tough questions. I do wonder if the over rated, infamous d-team was in the room and if there was any bombshell information that she gave!!! You know I also think her mother might have raised her to blame others…With her mom’s statement that her daughter has had a hard life. IMO,It sounds like well if it wasn’t for this and that bad thing that “happened” to you…It would all be okay. It is like there is a bunch of bad excuses…she was born sick, this happened and so on…But, that is what they are excuses. There are many things in our lives that change the course of our lives…but in the end it is each of us that decide how we are going to live that course of life. If you want to sit and have a pity party/be a victim of your circumstances…well that is your “choice.”

I truly feel sorry for the neighbors of the Anthonys. They are obviously doing a “walk away”. The property will go into disrepair, and the surrounding properties will suffer for it. I have seen it here in our development with one home. The neighbors have already lost property value due to this situation, not to mention the horrible housing market today. What they are doing is cheating. That mortgage is money they owe, regardless of the current value of the property. No one was complaining when the housing values were going up. And, in the final analysis, guess who ends up paying again for their actions? You got it. You and me.

Very True Muesli…It is sad. So many people out there are losing their homes. Not from any fault of their own…but the economy. People that would take any job, but can’t find one that will pay the bills. Many of these people are still taking those jobs…unlike the Anthonys.

Yes, Stephanie. It happened to one of the nicest couple here in our development. Between illness and job loss, they lost their home. They have 2 girls in college. We cried for them. One of the wealthier neighbors offered to help them, but they were too proud to accept. Truly good people, and I miss them.

That is sad Muesli…I cry for those people. The economy has hit our house hard. But, we still have a roof over our head and food in the house. When I think how this all bites…I think about what we still have and feel fortunate. The Anthonys on the other hand…have their hands out and feel they are owed…all entitled. I don’t understand why they feel they are so entitled…they are far from the only people that had tragedy strike their home. Even the exact same of tragedy…but they are some of the first to live off that tragedy. To victimize the victim their grandchild over again…I sure hope they are not going to start a trend.

Muesli, you aren’t kidding about the property being neglected on foreclosures.. Most of the time, the grass grows head high, the mold, mildew, and dust takes its toll on the inside… If the electric is shut off, which most often is the case until the foreclosure process is completed, (which can take a LONG time), the wood starts drawing moisture and begins to warp and rot.. Of course in Florida, that may not be a HUGE problem, due to the climate.. One bad thing though.. Mass populations of Pythons in Florida I hear… The A’s home, with a grown up yard would make a perfect place for them.. They could get under the house and escape some of the blistering heat… But then again, the house is already occupied by snakes, so it wouldn’t be that big of a difference.. *L*
Justme, please, there is no mass population of pythons in Florida. It is just when one is found, it makes the headlines. Anyway, with the heat and humidity here in Florida, it is amazing how a house deteriorates without a/c or any care at all. Actually, it is worse here than up north, because of the climate. The yards go out of control in just a few weeks. Our entire property has to be trimmed each week, it grows so fast.

I was stating my opinion that the Anthonys are planning a “walk away” from the house, and that is why they haven’t paid their mortgage for 9 months. I know people who did that, based on the advice of their lawyer, as they were going into bankruptcy.
I would like to see some documentation as to the actual medical condition of Mrs. Manynames.
Humble and Muesli, I haven’t read Dr. Glass’s most recent post but have always felt her to be unprofessionally biased. I believe her profiles are very accurate, but it’s obvious that she dislikes Casey and makes conclusions based on that. As much as I agree with most of her comments, as a professional, I feel she should stick with only the facts through her educated analysis.
