Why did he go do an interview at News 13?
Un fing believable, but we all called it….I knew this would happen, and the ” Ode to MD” proudly displayed on his site doesnt help. I do NOT beoieve for ONE minute Judge Strickland has the time or inclination to be involved in a ” relationship” with some unemployed foul mouthed blog creator. If this happens there should be ramifications, particularly if lies and deceptions are involved. I feel totally sick, especially since many of us prdicted this with the innuendo created by said blog creator.
He’s an idiot..that’s why.
100,000 hits a month, my A$$. Its the same old hags, all 4 of them who post. Everyone else reads, especially on Friday evenings for the “Friday night fights”, and to watch him have a hysterical fit once a month. Yuck. He is even more disgusting than Larry King. Let me tell you something, that defense investigator came swarming around me last week and I told them they were going after the wrong guy. What a stupid mistake that idiotic defense is making. To replace Judge Strickland is a death sentence, for sure.

Hi all, Sorry I got a bit vocal earlier, but I discussed this with many several months ago, and how stupid it was to pontificate on any private conversation…which has happened as HUmble says…in regards to investigators from the state, BS and others. Id like to know how these accusations can be made without phone records, etc to back up their claims. I can write about anything I want it doesnt mean it is true. I am so sick of people insinuating themselves into this case. How pathetic of a human being to knowingly jeopardize a court case with your own personal ego gratification. I wish one of the attorneys would comment on how likely this will be. I think the new blowhard attorney just wants a clean slate to start his own personal spin. Good luck…I dont believe anything they try will work, but if it does MD can be proud of himself.

I guess Im getting tired of the media, reporting all this as fact…the phone calls etc…when as usual nothing has been proven. They did the same with Jill Kerly, did the same with Joy Wray, did the same with skye or whatever the heck her name is…it never ends.

I want Bill S or even RH to make some comments on this so we know how likely it is that Strickland will recuse himself. He would know whether there is just cause, and I doubt this would go to any kind of hearing…If he has lost his mind and jeopardized his good reputation by adoration of a foul mouthed blogger, Im sure he will check himself into the nearest mental health facility and step down. Otherwise this will be a brief blip on the defense desperation meter, long forgotten by next May.
I agree Humble, and I hope after this all of the players in this case will come out with a statement disavowing all relationship with the moron…how embarrassing will that be!!!

I dont blame Baez, he has gotten it out and over a weekend no less, that Strickland is biased. The problem is he should have found a bigger fish to tie Strickland to. If Strickland were interested in media fame, I highly doubt MD would be is source of choice. The concept is ridiculous. The new outlets need to report accurately, that a person with lots of time on their hands and no employment, has written glorified details of his association with many in this case. He is NOT a reporter, he is NOT credentialed as…anything remotely as an expert. The phone calls are NOT fact until proven, and if you stroke someones ego in an interview many would pontificate on their accomplishments, just as happened. Where is K Belich to clear this nonsense up?

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.
Strickland has 30 days to decide whether to disqualify himself and determine whether the defense has made “sound legal arguments regardless of the truth in this matter,” DeForest reported.
In a refreshing bit of frankness, DeForest said it was too early to speculate what it all meant. But speculate he did, saying that a new judge could take over.
WKMG anchor Lauren Rowe shook her head and rolled her eyes in disbelief.
“Another wrench thrown in the Casey Anthony saga,” DeForest said.
“A big heavy wrench,” Rowe added.

Mikka – I think Strickland makes the decision to recuse himself based on his belief as to whether there is a conflict or not. If he decides there is no conflict he gives his reasons and then if the defense don`t like the decision they can appeal.

I’m back. I had lunch. We all went out. Jose and gang, Linda Drane Burdick and company. I told them we wouldn’t all fit in Waffle House, but dang! We did. Cheney Mason even picked up the tab – plus, he left a big tip! Judge Strickland was telling funny jokes the whole time. I coughed in my coffee, it was so funny. The only sad part for me was that they all ate dessert, but I couldn’t.

that I thought was funny, was that the defense seems to think MD is also an A$$ Hole for injecting himself into this case. They accused Mr. MD of positively gushing on his blog about having been selected from all the media for special treatment from Judge Strickland. The defense have, in effect, actually made fun of MD’s attempt to put himself in the middle of this. And, the stating that MD is a journalist is absolutely ludicrous. He is an unemployed graphic designer.

Geeze, I hope this doesn’t all affect MD’s serious health problems. You know, the ones he imagines week to week, and gets all those free cat scans, 6 day hospital stays (in case it is his heart), sort of diabetes (here one day, gone the next), perhaps pancreas (oops, need another test), etc., etc.. No insurance. Don’t worry Mr. MD, I’ll pay. That’s why my husband and I worked our entire lives. Just to pay for you. Get a job you loser. If you can do all the roaming around, videoing, writing all day, lunching with defense or anyone else who will pay your bill, then you can work. And we thought the Anthonys were the great scammers?
