I wonder how Judge Strickland is doing? I think to some degree he is relieved that he is off the case now. And the case is in good hands with Judge Perry.
Isn’t it interesting how Baez went to NeJame’s office after 8 months to finally go through the EquuSearch files, now that Judge Perry is presiding over the case?
Well, I am off to bed after staying up late. I know better, but I still stay up–then I regret it in the morning.

Hi all, Do hope all you peeps are good. I have been reading back posts trying to keep up. Hard to do at times you peeps are fast!! With all that we have found out about this case, how long do any of you think it’s going to take a jury with all they will have to find Casey guilty as can be?!! Just think about it, we don’t have all the facts yet and yet we know the truth!! and yes also those mistruths!! I do think they have not put all the Ants in jail yet because ( my hubby said this) they need to have Casey found guilty and then they go after C&G for all the cover up and mistruths, and Lee also if he has not already made deal. I think Casey has made brother Lee mad about all she has said and I think he just may tell it all even C&G with the cover-up and all their lies running all around saying Caylee alive!! With all the money from the good people of FL. and the ones that came out to look for Caylee from their kind hearts and also their own money to get there, eat and staying was not free for these kind people!! How upset and mad do you think those people will be when they find out the ANTS knew Caylee was already dead!! from the time they picked that car up!! My hubby thinks when chit looks like its going to hit their fan the Ants have money put somewhere and they will not stay for jury to say guilty but they will run!! My hubby also thinks we should all get together and write a book on how not to be a pucked up Famliy like this one!! and put the money to good use in helping the little ones that can’t help theirselfs!! Good things happen when good peeps speak out loud and clear!! Thats what I think of us all we are good peeps!!

I would love for Judge Perry to say ‘you’ve got 3 months then we’re going to trial. You’ve had 2 YEARS to work on this, so let’s get down to business’. I just don’t think the case is THAT complicated at all. Bozo would have been better off saving that blood $$ and challenging the state’s experts or taking a plea deal.
They’ve spent 2 years and 300k on absolutely nothing. A few motions and a lot of interviews and travel. I think the new judge knows what’s up and I hate to say this – but I’m relieved somewhat that the race card won’t come into play since Perry is African American. Bozo’s disgusting PR person already played the race card like it was second nature, so I’m sure that would be something he complains about as the trial moves on.
Basically we have a woman who has all of the horrible behaviors we all know of who partied 31 days when her daughter was ‘missing’ and then actively tried to obstruct the investigation into her daughters whereabouts. 2+2=4. She has still not told the truth about where she dropped Caylee off. Why does this need to take 3 years ??

Good morning all ~ interesting comment Brad…we are so wrapped up in the “today stuff”, I too wonder what restrictions will be put on the amount of time allowed for the trial. Do they routinely set some sort of time frame for counsel? After all of these years of prep, you would think it should move fairly quick. I think that too has backfired on the dufense. They thought time was there friend – the longer they drag it out, people would forget the case. Not true! More people know, Caylee will NOT be forgotten, nor what happened to her, nor who was responsible, nor who covered up. JMO

Later, Lee Anthony’s attorney denied that Lee or Mallory suggested they suspect Casey Anthony is responsible for Caylee Anthony’s murder.
“He is in support of his sister all the way,” attorney Tom Luka told Kealing.
Lee Anthony has said Casey never confessed or suggested she knew what happened to her daughter, Luka added.
“He’s obviously waiting to see what happens, if there’s any more evidence comes out,” Luka said. “But as it stands at this moment, he is 100 percent behind his sister.”
Lee Anthony has immunity from prosecution for anything he testifies to as long his stories are truthful and consistent, Luka told Kealing.

There was something else on the Clerk of Courts record for the 1st Degree Murder case that seemed odd. Baez is the only atty retained. Does anyone remember the reason he was not Death Penalty qualified 2 yrs. ago? Why isn’t Cryin’ Lyon and/or Foghorn Longhorn Mason included as Casey’s attys?

Officials with EquuSearch said they now plan to try to break the standoff with Anthony’s defense team in court.
A source said officials with Texas EquuSearch want the new judge in the case, Belvin Perry, to weigh in because they’re they are fed up with playing the waiting game with Anthony’s defense.
A source said EquuSearch plans to file legal paperwork to have the judge order Anthony’s defense to review the records and be done with it.

Kealing quoted another legal expert who said the defense has little chance of success in arguing that prosecutors are trying to break it financially.
