Meanwhile, Local 6 News confirmed on Wednesday that a pretrial hearing in Anthony’s civil case will be held next week.
A trial date in the lawsuit filed by Zenaida Gonzalez could be determined at the Tuesday hearing.
Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation, saying she damaged her reputation when she told investigators a woman with the same name kidnapped Caylee.
Gonzalez is seeking more than $15,000 in damages

Since there is not much happening so far today out in circus land, I have been snooping around a bit. I am wondering about the foreclosure on the Anthony’s home. Since it seems they haven’t paid their mortgage since June of 2009, I am wondering why it is that they would remember to pay their property taxes on 11/27/09. Doesn’t make sense to me. The bank issued a lis pendance in March of this year, so that means a foreclosure must be right around the corner. It would also seem to me that rather than putting hundreds of dollars into Casey’s snack account, they would have put that money towards their mortgage. Something so, so fishy here. There is money hidden somewhere. I mean by hidden, hidden from the IRS. Of course, this is just MHO.

mikka, where does it say they paid their mortgage? Where would they get all that money? It would be about $767 plus late penalty, since last June.
mikka, according to the records I see from the Clerk’s office, it is not paid.

Good morning Humble, carlavan. Humble, I saw that on the Clerk’s site this morning, also. I was so set to go to Orlando tomorrow for the hearing. But, after discussing the details of why I want to go with my husband, he has advised me to stay away from that bunch of weirdos. He was very vehement about me not going after I mentioned the word “gun” to him. Guess I will just have to settle for the tv and my computer, as the rest of you. I have seen too many crazy videos of chaos in the courtroom on tv, and don’t want to be part of this circus. Anyway, have to leave for golf now. I’ll see you all later this evening.
