It’s like you can actually SEE the derangement in her soul. What an ugly human being. Did she get that blouse from that Seinfeld episode about the ‘pirate shirt’?

    (((((((((((((((mmmmmmmmiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!))))))))))))))

Looks like I just missed you – enjoy your dinner and hurry back

I agree Brad – the look in her eyes is so dark and dead. You can see her inner evil. WF looks absolutely haunted. I really think reality has settled in and she knows it’s just a matter of time. And the absence of her parents today in court sounds like they are feeling it too…..

Hard to imagine lil Caylee would be turning 5 this August. Getting ready for kindergarten

  7. Colhere on 6 May 2010 at 17:18

Well among all the different comments that are being made regarding WF’s appearance, I have to say that those pictures make her look a great deal like a murderer.

Looks like it was an awesome day. Perry won’t allow Baez to chew his cabbage more than once, so if and when this TES record thing rears it’s head, I am sure Bozo will be ripped up for it and costs for any motions will be on his own time.

    I bet she’s growing a tail too..

  10. Marsha on 6 May 2010 at 17:51

Nana, I SAW the tail as she clink, clink, clinked out of the courtroom!

  11. nannab on 6 May 2010 at 17:55

    Marsha..good eye..

  12. nannab on 6 May 2010 at 17:56

she was all alone today? how brave of her..

  13. TanLovesCaylee on 6 May 2010 at 18:03

Hi all, have missed you! I lurk once in a while but am busy getting back on my feet and doing some research work.
I love this judge! I liked Strickland but the circus in the courtroom by Mason and bozo is no more!
I loved it when he kept bozo on track when he tried to insert bs instead of the matter at hand! Ha-Ha-Ha.
I saw Casey sitting there emotionless while her daughter’s remains were discussed – as usual. I did see her writing notes and giggling- how inappropriate.
She is unbelievable-but we all know that already!

  14. stephanie on 6 May 2010 at 18:12

    Hi Tan…How are you??

    Hello Everyone!!!

  15. gigwails on 6 May 2010 at 18:16

Hi folks! Hope everyone is doing well. I think I read on wftv’s website that Baez and Co. are requesting that Judge Perry make a ruling on the Texas EquuaSearch motions that Judge Strickland already shot down. Baez needs to concentrate on keeping up with Judge Perry’s brisk pace, rather than re-hash denied motions and waste even more of the court’s time.

  16. stephanie on 6 May 2010 at 18:17

Hi Gigs…For some reason I think Baez and Co believe they will get this judge to rule differently…I sure hope they don’t.

  17. gigwails on 6 May 2010 at 18:21

Hi Steph! Judging by his tone, I don’t think Judge Perry is going to tolerate Baez asking for things over and over again.

  18. TanLovesCaylee on 6 May 2010 at 18:26

    Hi Steph, Gig!
Baez still doesn’t quite get it. I heard him say Judge at least once today.
He certainly should be focused on the things Perry told him – like deposing witnesses he already knows about, instead of blaming the state for not having done any because they haven’t given him all of them yet! He better take common sense 101 before he practices much more wrangling in that courtroom

  19. stephanie on 6 May 2010 at 18:28

I don’t think so either…I am not positive, but I think they get to ask again for many things they have already asked for with the new judge. However, I also think it would be a stupid move for Baez to ask for these records again

  20. stephanie on 6 May 2010 at 18:29

I haven’t seen the hearing yet…how long did it last? Where the attorneys well behaved like last week…or was the state even there?

  21. Molly on 6 May 2010 at 18:35

Hi steph, gig, nanna, tan, colhere!

I think another bad move by the defense today was AGAIN requesting that casey doesn’t have to be in the courtroom for these hearings. I think it just showed perry that she does NOT care & has no interest in all of this at all. Not a good move. Her defense team should have been smart enough not to bring that forth again. If they’re concerned about “image”, they should advise her to “act” interested not ask for her to be excused.
they just keep rollin’ on. . . .

  22. Molly on 6 May 2010 at 18:37

steph – 3 1/2 hrs today!!! the state was there & JAC lawyer was there. also Orlando sentinel lawyer there!

of course baez calling perry “judge” again.

  23. stephanie on 6 May 2010 at 18:40

Hi Molly…Thank you. What did the judge say to keeping the expenses sealed?

  24. Molly on 6 May 2010 at 18:42

Tan – He called him “judge” many times! He was pushing again being a little more informal this time. P
Perry joked with him once about “trying” to ask for things but he may not get them. but i don’t think he should be glib too often with perry. he kept starting agaqin with his long stories on why he needs this or that, perry reeled him in & cut him off (several times).

  25. Molly on 6 May 2010 at 18:44

steph – NO across the board, but they may revisit some individual items or people as they go along.

  26. Molly on 6 May 2010 at 18:46

Baez brought up TES AGAIN as he did last time in court, he will definitely resubmit that motion for the info. there is not a doubt in my mind.

  27. TanLovesCaylee on 6 May 2010 at 18:46

gotta run try to come back!
    love all

  28. Molly on 6 May 2010 at 18:47

he also kept saying Lyons not lyon . hahhahhahhahhaa

  29. stephanie on 6 May 2010 at 18:48

    from hal

WFTV-Channel 9 listed setbacks today in a hearing on expenses for the indigent defendant:

***Her attorneys asked that she not have to attend hearings. “Casey Anthony doesn’t like people criticizing her appearance or actions, so she asked to stay in jail during future hearings,” WFTV’s Kathi Belich said. But Chief Judge Belvin Perry said she would have to attend most of them, saying he didn’t want to give her grounds for an appeal.

***The defense wanted to keep its experts’ names secret, but Perry “made defense attorney Jose Baez name names,” Belich said.

***The defense wanted to buy two cars — with taxpayer money for $6,000 — to conduct air tests; Perry denied the request.

Why that request? ”While it may sound like a silly idea, it gives you a sense of how closely the defense wants to challenge the so-called sniff test showing the odor in the car of Casey’s was from decomposition,” WESH-Channel 2’s Bob Kealing said.

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Perry denied the defense team’s request to seal records about how her attorneys will spend taxpayer money. Perry said a blanket sealing of the information wouldn’t be appropriate.

“This is not a total blow to Casey Anthony’s defense team,” WESH’s Jeff Lennox said. “The judge says if they’re worried about any information that may be released in the near future, they can go ahead and deal with it on a case-by-case basis with the court.”

And the day was hardly a wash for the defense.

WOFL-Channel 35’s Holly Bristow highlighted that Perry allowed the defense to keep some out-of-state experts, such as Dr. Henry Lee. “In the end the judge approved 16 of the 19 requests the defense made, but he flat out denied spending state funds for a jury expert,” Bristow reported.

    What of the overall expenses?

“We didn’t find out an exact number for how much money Casey’s defense will cost taxpayers, but we do expect to get a better idea in an order from Judge Perry,” WESH’s Kealing said.

What kind of day was it?

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer offered this analysis: “The judge is not going to send the defense to court in a Rolls-Royce. He’ll send them to court in a compact.”

Sheaffer’s said Perry’s rulings “are ensuring the integrity of the system, they’re ensuring that the taxpayers’ money is spent wisely.”
