And Sanders talked to former U.S. Attorney Kendall Coffey. His view: “If the prosecution can prove that a mother intentionally murdered her own child in order to pursue a wild social life, then this is indeed a death-penalty case.”

Abrams explained that to get the death penalty in Florida, there needs to be aggravating factors, such as premeditation.

Meredith Vieira noted that the defense unsuccessfully argued how could it be premeditation without a cause of of death.

“That’s an argument for the jury, in effect,” Abrams said. ”What the defense is trying to do is they’re trying to say, ’Look, as a legal matter we want the death penalty off the table.’ Very tough argument for the defense, in every case … Not surprising that this judge said that it can move forward. But this is just the first step.”

    ((((((((((MMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!)))))))

“……the defense unsuccessfully argued how could it be premeditation without a cause of of death.”

No cause of death – this just burns my butt. How can the defense say this with a straight face??

Hellloooooooo – DUCT TAPE ACROSS THE AIRWAYS!!!! I can’t take it.

Mikka, I think all our fellow Humbelettes are burnt out after two hearings back to back ! You can really hear the crickets chirping here

Hi Lisa! Thanx for the Dr. Glass link, very interesting. The phony tears are just so obvious. Who on earth examines tears like that? All part of the act.

Remember the jail house phony tears too while talking with her parents? WF would go so far as to “mop up” the so called tears off her NECK with the back of her hand as tho they were just running and dripping. Puleeeze.

Gosh, I wish they would go back to jail house videos again. They were so very entertaining.

  15. humbleopinion on 13 May 2010 at 10:18

    Hi everyone! Thanks Lisa!

Suzie, well no video’s if the parents aren’t visiting! Of course their best intentions are only to get the skanky Muffin off of the murder charges.

  16. Suzie Jane on 13 May 2010 at 10:26

Hi Humble! So good to see you again, you’ve been missed.

Wouldn’t you think that if Sindy was so hell bent on the current “I love you”s and smiles with her murdering spawn that she would force herself to visit and keep up the loving charade?

You know, just for show? I’m sure Dr. Glass would have a hey day with that tho. And so would we…

  17. Suzie Jane on 13 May 2010 at 10:30

WOW Lisa! Thanx for that link. This is gonna take a little time to read, I can’t wait.

Going for more coffee and a snack. I shall return!

  18. humbleopinion on 13 May 2010 at 10:30

    Good to see you Suzie!
You would thik they would keep up the charade, but they are busy not paying their bills.

  19. debra griffiths on 13 May 2010 at 10:32

Dear Humble, hope your health is ok & stable.
I was wondering if any of you knew anything about new pictures of Caylee? Some that were sold to a TV network (not sure which one). Maybe this is a way the Ants plan on saving their house? Not sure, just speculating.
Have a good day everyone & God Bless.
    Debra

  20. Suzie Jane on 13 May 2010 at 10:32

Humble – all that ignoring of bills does keep a body busy! bbiab

  22. ~LisaG~ on 13 May 2010 at 10:41

    Humble

OMG, this speech analysis of Sindy Anthony during Caylee’s memorial is absolutley fascinating!

It shows much of what a say life Caylee had, makes me want to cry more then ever for Caylee.

Caylee honey, justice is coming. There are millions of people, whom you have touched, in death, that love you and will make sure your mother pays for what she did to you.

  23. ~LisaG~ on 13 May 2010 at 10:42

OOP, that should say SAD life, not say. Ok, back to reading this analysis, again, its fascinating, but heartbreaking.

  25. nannab on 13 May 2010 at 11:18

the picture of WF with Angel Caylee is ugly.. wonder if she still smiles like that.. :ninja:

  26. carlavan on 13 May 2010 at 11:30

I cannot see how the ant’s continue to profit from this murder, it infuriates me beyond words! Of course they are getting money to either save their house or start over…now that the kind folks of Florida are paying WF’s bill. The networks should be banned from doing this, it is disgusting.

  27. carlavan on 13 May 2010 at 11:32

And while I’m on my rage….the other mother’s who have killed their children (susan smith for one) I’m sure had pictures of them as great mother’s with their children….means nothing!!!!

Casey Prosecutors List Reasons For Death Penalty

Prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony revealed on Thursday a list of reasons why they’ll seek the death penalty during trial.

Florida law requires that at least one aggravating factor must be proved to pursue capital punishment. Prosecutors in the Anthony case listed five of them.

Legal citations within the document provided by the prosecution showed they believe Caylee was killed as a result of aggravated child abuse.

Prosecutors also contend it was a particularly heinous, atrocious or cruel crime, and they said they contend Caylee’s death was the result of a cold, calculated and premeditated crime.

Another listed factor was that Caylee was under the age of 12 when she died, and prosecutors said she was in familial custody, her mother’s care, when she was killed.

The defense has claimed the medical examiner doesn’t know exactly how Caylee died, so they wonder how the state could argue it was a cold, calculated and heinous crime.

  29. carlavan on 13 May 2010 at 13:43

That makes no sense either, we know the truth so that too will fall on deaf ears!

  30. carlavan on 13 May 2010 at 13:49

If knocking her out (traces in her car) duct tape across the baby’s skull mouth area with casey’s signature “heart sticker” isn’t hienous, I just don’t know what is? Oh and double bagged? Then left in an unlocked car with keys in it, in hopes some fool would steal it and become the “murderer”. Her trail is obvious, the only problem is the car probably didn’t smell good at all and no one was going to touch it – so she wasn’t as smart as she tought she was.

    DOCUMENT: Notice Of Aggravating Circumstances

    http://www.wftv.com/news/23545577/detail.html

If Casey is convicted of murdering her daughter Caylee, prosecutors will argue five of the 15 possible aggravators to the jury.

The aggravators they are using are:

The murder was committed during aggravated child abuse, for which Casey is also charged

    The murder was especially atrocious

The murder was committed in a cold, calculated and premeditated manner

The victim was younger than 12 years old

The victim was particularly vulnerable because her killer was her mother

  35. Carol on 13 May 2010 at 15:08

Hi Humble, Lisa, mikka and all. Thank you Lisa for that link, WOW! Well, we knew $indy was like that, for sure.
Thanks ss for your link as well. I’m sure the Prosecution could dig up a few more possiblities for her death if they wanted. She is toast.
Suzie Jane; I never really noticed how big and long the murderer’s nose was before, did you? Ugh.

  36. Suzie Jane on 13 May 2010 at 15:17

Carol – My goodness, that is quite a ski slope is it not? Pix #18 & #20 give a nice angle too.

But then what do you expect – she has severe chronic Pinocchio-itis.

  37. Carol on 13 May 2010 at 15:37

S J; to go with the ears! Those are pointy elf ears if I ever saw any! HA!

  38. Carol on 13 May 2010 at 15:41

Someone said the other day when George was wearing that green and black cowboy looking shirt, that it was from a security co. I still say he got a job at Roy Rogers. He’s good at cleaning and taking out trash.

  39. Marsha on 13 May 2010 at 15:53

Watching HLN…did WF escape and pose as a middle school student??

  41. georgetta on 13 May 2010 at 16:09

    Susie Jane, Carol.
here’s a picture that looks like her with the long pointing nose, pointing ears and those huge huge teeth.

  42. Suzie Jane on 13 May 2010 at 16:25

Oh my gosh Georgetta – the resemblance is uncanny

Speaking of WF’s physical appearance lately – I think she looks scary skinny and pale. And those dark hollow eyes, egads. I swear she’s ready to snap.

    Wouldn’t that be fun??

  43. Carol on 13 May 2010 at 16:37

georgetta; LOL LOL!!! Wow, that snooz hey? Good grief!
S J; Yup, just staring away trying to put a hex on the Judge with that fish belly white skin. I hope they taser her ass when she finally freaks out. That will be fun!

  44. maze on 13 May 2010 at 16:46

Lisa..great link above…although I would have to disgree that saying a “child” means child abuse..are we just supposed to call them kids “meaning Baby goat!

  45. Suzie Jane on 13 May 2010 at 16:54

Maze I think they’re saying “child” is a cold and unattached manner in which to refer to your own flesh and blood. It’s not normal.

I have NEVER referred to any on of my three boys as my “child”. How weird. It’s always by their name, my boy, my son, etc. “Child” is so vague and impersonal. Not even respecting the little one with some genderization at least.

The Anthony all choke on the name Caylee. They can’t even say her name. Their houses are officially haunted

  46. Molly on 13 May 2010 at 20:27

Both casey & george also referred to caylee as “that little girl”. seems like they separated themselves from her. detached.
Casey rarely ever says caylee’s name.

I also wonder if caylee’s “voice” might have said something to cindy, let something slip about what they did during the day. either somewhere they went or maybe some “medicine” that mommy had given her.

  47. Marsha on 13 May 2010 at 22:01

If sindy was any kind of nurse at all she surely would have seen the signs of Caylee being drugged. I think this was something that she did MANY times, and like has been discussed here before, Caylee was getting old enough to put sentences together. WF wasn’t going to be able to get away with it much longer.

And the irony..the next sentence for WF will be one word, death!!!

  48. hvf on 14 May 2010 at 08:23

I am from Utah and I am so heart broken over murdered Ethan Stacey. I cried so long about this boy, Just like little Caylee. Why can’t we have public executions for these child killers??? And Life in Prison for child pornographers. I am so tired of the terror they put on children. My heart is just broken today.
