Casey Anthony, no update one year ago 18May2009

One year ago today, Deputy Cain put in his resignation letter. He was terminated because he was, untruthful. He was given 160 hour suspension for unsatisfactory performance. In other words, he was given the suspension for improper search and terminated for lying.

Also, the Judge for the ZFG trial considered a motion to dismiss ZFG case against Casey for slander. Of course we know he did not dismiss the case, but a trial date is now set.

And Terence Lenamon released a statement. Lenamon left due to a disagreement about whether Casey should take a mental health defense. Of course we know today with Casey not taking that defense, she is proud and happy to be up against the death penalty. It has been said that Baez is keeping very tight control over Casey and her defense, even though he is not a death penalty-qualified attorney and has not yet hired one for his team.

In the document Lenamon writes:
“The importance of an experienced death qualified attorney’s independent involvement in Ms. Anthony’s case cannot be over emphasized. The penalty of death is unique in both its severity and finality. Standards consistent with both Florida law and the American Bar Associations Guideline’s for the Appointment and Performance of Counsel in Death Penalty Cases (Feb. 2003) require conflict free investigation, evaluation, and preparation. In that I am no longer involved in the case, I am confident that Mr. Baez will aggressively pursue assuring that Ms. Anthony is provided death qualified counsel that will diligently represent her interests.”

So, do you think he found something substantial in her psychology reports and thought he could use that?
If I am first, I am going to scream! Never happens to me!
Off topic; speaking of Ms Always First, where is our Ms. Mikka? I miss her, we all do.

  2. humbleopinion on 18 May 2010 at 19:04

 no screaming Carol! You are numero uno!

I think that Lenamon was looking for a way to get the dp dropped. Bozo thinks he can do that himself. I think Bozo is the wrong top dog!

  3. mikka on 18 May 2010 at 19:09

hi friends,i was busy all day, will be back tomorrow!

mizz carol  miss ya!

  4. Niecey on 18 May 2010 at 19:31

    Hey Humble!

Ah……….I remember it well. Mr. Lenamon was going to go with the postpartum depression defense. I could see them going after a mental health defense, but that one was really stretching it. Truthfully, I don’t think Casey is mentally ill either, but I can see a defense attorney going after that kind of defense. IMHO, I think Mr. Baez has done as much to throw Casey under the bus, as Casey has.

    Waiving to Mikka.

  5. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 19:44

    Hi all!
I am still trying to get over the fact that Bozo is trying to get the state to pay for everything he put off to keep all the money for himself! How did Mackluso launder the so-called $70,000.00 he contributed to Casey’s defense that they have the gall to use in court! I hope we will find out.
I am so disgusted with the idea that they waited until they could charge the state while he collected all the bucks he could first knowing he was going to charge the state for every nickel and thousands of dimes.

  6. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 19:46

ecd, mikka, steph – anyone here? Every great humble person?

  7. Niecey on 18 May 2010 at 19:48

I wonder if Macaluso really did donate that money, or if he was a front, covering for another source. I wonder if these latest CBS pics are something new, or something we just didn’t know about, or maybe that’s Macaluso’s $70,000 he really didn’t donate.

  8. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 19:48

Niecey_ I so love your input. So right

  9. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 19:54

Back at you neicey, you definitely have a interesting point. Sorry for the misspelling. I have always thought that the 79 grand was a total lie. It does not take much to come to that conclusion. You are such a great contributor in this case. Thanks for chatting with me.

  10. Molly on 18 May 2010 at 19:54

    hi everybody!
Bret Michaels is going to be Oprah tomorrow. I know there are some fans here. was it you Maze?

Tan – I agree that baez knew all along that he was going for indigent& now the state can pay everyone that he’s using. I too would like an accounting of all of the rest of the money. we only know of baez salary & lyon’s share.
and if he goes thru all of this & then at the end goes for a plea deal, there will be some very angry people. that’s if the state would even offer one.

  11. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 19:55

    Oops- 70 grand.

  12. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 20:00

    Hi Molly!
Old Hollywood dancer here. Bret is the best but I was before him.
I think you are so right, however I think Casey will never confess unless she thinks she will be put to death qnd even then what?

  13. Molly on 18 May 2010 at 20:01

HiNiecey! I don’t think that money came from macaluso at all! why would a lawyer PAY for a case he is on. I think there is a lot of money funnelling here & more to come.
and what about the 5,000 mystery “donation”. doesn’t the court want to know where it came from? it could be a media/entertainment/book group or anyone else that may want something in return.

  14. Molly on 18 May 2010 at 20:02

I don’t think casey will ever confess anything either.

  15. Carol on 18 May 2010 at 20:04

Hi Peeps! With bozo’s outstanding background of bankruptcy and not paying child support, I think he knows how to launder, twist and hide money. The guy may look dumb, but…
I think the Judge will ask the correct questions and get him to cough up all the dough balls. You can just hear all the whining already at the next hearing. Ugh.

  16. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 20:05

All the great humble bloggers! I so love you all and have had a hard time getting back in the saddle. I love you all and will be on as much as I possibly can.
Love to all for Cayllee’s justice.

  17. Carol on 18 May 2010 at 20:09

Hi Tan. Yes, we are starting a new era of love and peace. No more whinning, complaining, throat cutting or trolls alowed. Just ocasional biaching is fine though. My spelling sucks.

  18. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 20:09

I cannot believe we have not heard a motion involving the 70 grand. Smoke must know. I wish I could give someone that much money and not have to account for it.

  19. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 20:10

    Got company. bbl I hope.
    Love you, Tan

  20. Carol on 18 May 2010 at 20:12

Where are all the IRS agents when you need ‘em? They can’t just float that much money around and not get caught some where. But then again, this is the Ant family we are dealing with. They all get away with murder and more.

  21. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 20:13

    Carol, you are the best!

  22. TanLovesCaylee on 18 May 2010 at 20:14

Hugs Carol, have to go now! See you soon I hope.

  23. Carol on 18 May 2010 at 20:16

    Bye Tan, catch you later!

  24. Niecey on 18 May 2010 at 20:16

Thanks Tan! Hugs! Enjoyed chatting with you. That $70,000 would be interesting to know more about.

Hey Molly! We agree about that money. There is so much more to it.

Well said Carol! I do believe the Judge will get it out of him at some point.
Yes we are entering that new era………..Isn’t it nice?

  25. Carol on 18 May 2010 at 20:31

Well, good night to you all. It’s been a slice of nice. (New term for you Niecey!)

  26. maze on 18 May 2010 at 20:37

Molly thanks for the info…I cannot stand oprah so I do not know if I wil watch…I would like perry to ask for an accounting of all the money baez has gotten..tsricky did not seemed concerned when baez said he did not keep track of hi s billable hours..WHAT!!!!!

  27. Niecey on 18 May 2010 at 20:49

    Night Carol.

  28. Colhere on 18 May 2010 at 21:54

    That 70 grand..

Hmm.. So, Macaluso quietly collects from miscellaneous ‘licensing’ in small amounts for some photos, then he writes off his time plus 70 grand?

  29. Halfspot on 19 May 2010 at 01:23

Hi all, as always can’t sleep so get to do all my reading and then just can’t help but to add my 2 cents  Well the way I look at this mess the Ant. have going on or should I say the blood they all have on their hands!! but true with the blood part!! They must be the happy family to only have nice photos of the dead grandbaby and go out and sell them! It looks to me like they are loving this blood money just like they won the lottery  family!! Can’t not wait to see them hit rock bottom. Now that will be a  day!! Going to try and get some sleep now so everyone stay good to each other and as always such good peeps here!!

  30. muesli on 19 May 2010 at 03:04

Good morning. Anyone else up yet?

  31. smoke&mirrors on 19 May 2010 at 03:31

    Good morning muesli,

I’m here! Is coffee ready? When you have a minute, will you listen to this audio-taped recording of Ms. Sanchez’s, AMSCOT Branch Mgr. interview?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46ve4GKFQ2Y&feature=related

We spent a lot of time discussing the 7:00 a.m. time. When I listened to this recording yesterday, my take away was different from what I originally thought.

  32. mikka on 19 May 2010 at 05:34

    gm friends!

s&m thanks, she was not close enought to smell the decomp!

  33. smoke&mirrors on 19 May 2010 at 05:54

    Good morning mikka,

TY for taking the time to listen to the audio tape. That is true… she did not get close enough to smell an odor.

The other issue that had us going was the 7 a.m. time on 27 June 2008. Although Ms. Sanchez saw the white Pontiac on this date for the 1st time, it was actually 28 June 2008 when she noticed it was still there at 7 a.m.

I made the change in the June 2008 Timeline. Of course, I am making changes constantly. Just haven’t figured out the best way to keep everyone up to date. Unfortunately, these constant revisions have made any printouts of this info outdated.

    BBL

  34. mikka on 19 May 2010 at 06:10

    s&m see ya later!

  35. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 06:19

Hi Niecey, good to see you! They could have tried anything, now they have her on the dp and no excuses, except she is 100% innocent.

Hi ya Tan, good to see you! That 70 g…yea just an excuse, but would be really interested if he did really give it, where did he get it!

Hi Carol, yea, he has that hiding money down pretty well, I am sure. He doesn’t have the greatest rep as a a father.

Hi ya Col, well he can’t do any of that anymore. He has the boot for awhile.

Hi ya Halfspot, seems they do love this blood money, and they keep going back for more. I assume that they also give some of that to the murderer.

Hi ya Smoke, thanks. I will listen to it, has been a while.

Hi ya Mikka, good to see you! I think Sanchez is just around for the time line, but she has nothing really to offer.

  36. smoke&mirrors on 19 May 2010 at 06:31

    Hi Everyone,

This was a great find by another blogger (see name below and link to blog).

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Fl. appeals court shoots down most of defense arguments

We found a case that is on point in the Florida criminal cases, that involves a ME not being able to say for certain how the victim died, and also involves duct tape.

    Perry v. State, 801 So. 2d 78, 84 (Fla.
    2001); State v. Law, 559 So. 2d 187, 189 (Fla. 1989). ”
IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA
    FIFTH DISTRICT
    JULY TERM 2004
    BRENT ROBERT HUCK,
    Appellant,
    v.
    CASE NO. 5D03-1906

    STATE OF FLORIDA,
    Appellee.
    ___________________________________/
    Opinion filed July 16, 2004
    Appeal from the Circuit Court
    for Brevard County,
    David Dugan, Judge.
Gregory W. Eisenmenger and Robert R. Berry of
Eisenmenger, Berry & Peters, Melbourne, for
    Appellant.
Charles J. Crist, Jr., Attorney General, Tallahassee,
and Kellie A. Nielan, Assistant Attorney General,
    Daytona Beach, for Appellee.
    MONACO, J.
Brent Robert Huck appeals his convictions for the kidnapping and felony murder of his
    former girlfriend, Misty Morse.

    http://www.romingerlegal.com/floridacourts
    __________________

“At trial the medical examiner testified that because of the condition of the body, he was not “one hundred percent” certain of the cause of death. In his opinion, however, the victim
died “within a reasonable degree of probability” from asphyxia either by the tape on her nose and mouth or from drowning. ” Interesting that they did not need to prove exactly, or be married to one particular cause of death.

. “The State is not required to rebut conclusively every possible variation of events that could be inferred from the evidence. Rather, it is the State’s obligation to introduce competent substantial evidence that is inconsistent with the defendant’s theory of events”. Perry v. State, 801 So. 2d 78, 84 (Fla.
    2001); State v. Law, 559 So. 2d 187, 189 (Fla. 1989). ”

Someone better send this to the defense.

Also, from Huck’s attempt to appeal, and say the duct tape did not prove anything – the FL Supreme Court had this to say:
“More importantly, the assertion that Mr. Huck taped the victim’s eyes and mouth shut after she died is not particularly reasonable. The only logical reason to tape her eyes and mouth shut would have been to prevent her from seeing, talking, screaming for help, or breathing while she was alive. There is no logical or reasonable purpose for taping a person’s eyes and mouth shut after she is dead.”

Thanks Smoke. Very interesting indeed. I bet the state uses the reason for the duct tape was so Caylee, 2 1/2 years old was so she could not see, talk, scream for help, or breath while she was alive.

What a terrible way to die at 2 1/2 years old!

  40. mikka on 19 May 2010 at 07:19

i saw a murdercase on tv,i am shocked, she say when in florida somebody get the death ,it will be AUTOMATIC an appeall!!!

  41. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 07:26

Mikka, it normally is automatic. The difference here, Casey has NO REMORSE, isn’t mental, and her attorney is a loser. So any appeal she has, will pretty much go back to her behavior. She still does think she will be off on all charges.

  42. mikka on 19 May 2010 at 07:27

humble,i bet when cma had another lawyer, she pleaded already,BUT BOZO want his trial,he think he will be after an celebrity!NOT!

  43. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 07:28

Again any and all appeals will more than likely be paid by the state! I think if found guilty of murdering a child, it should be instant. No appeals, no questions, just the needle 6 months after the verdict!

  44. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 07:29

I don’t know Mikka. She is pretty determined to make the world think she is innocent. She would never plea. She won’t even tell the truth!

  45. mikka on 19 May 2010 at 07:32

humble 6months?? thats is quick!

  46. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 07:34

Well, they are usually 2-3 years in jail, and can most their lives in order. I am starting to think really hard about dp for children murderers. They need to go as fast as the child went! Six months is even too long.

  51. Suzie Jane on 19 May 2010 at 10:39

Humble – it’s unbelievable how she rambles on and on. One lie after another. Even Georgie Marie can’t shut her up.

I watched Diane Downs story on 20/20. Her “flat effect” emotionally is so similar to WF. There’s just nothin’ good in there

  52. chachi on 19 May 2010 at 10:52

Just listened Suzie…she says the pizza smell was the worst thing she ever smelled. I never smelled a dead body but I think that would be the worst smell ever, I don’t care how long pizza was in a hot car!

  53. Suzie Jane on 19 May 2010 at 11:01

Hi Chachi! They did a “pizza experiment” with pizza in a hot Florida trunk. I’m too lazy to look for it, but there’s a video with George explaining very carefully how to do this experiment. “Has to be done exactly this way” he says with that stupid smirk/frown/sh*ttin-his pants-look on his face.

Oh heck, maybe I will go look for the video – it’s so worth it.

  54. Suzie Jane on 19 May 2010 at 11:13

Sorry Humble – my bad. Try this.

CMA abandoned the car at amscot on 6/27 had Amy buy a gas can on 6/28 why? was she really going to go back and pick up the car? or was she hoping someone would steal the car by the time she came back with the gas can.

  62. chachi on 19 May 2010 at 11:59

I hope no one would ever hire that nurse impersonator!!! Maybe Bozo has a job for her?

  63. chachi on 19 May 2010 at 12:01

you guys know anything on the dirt that was found in the trunk of CMA”s car?

  64. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 12:06

Chachi, I think she thought it would be stolen, this is why she left her purse on the front seat.
Well, of bozo has a job for her, you know she likes the people’s money better than making her own.

  74. chachi on 19 May 2010 at 13:38

    thanks, see ya!

  75. humbleopinion on 19 May 2010 at 13:49

Hi Mikka. I heard that animal decomp smells different than human. Of course I have smelled dead animals in the woods, and that is just gross! But never a humans body. Guess I haven’t had one put in my car at the tow yard either.

  76. chachi on 19 May 2010 at 13:59

well if one ends up in my trunk humble, I’ll just use dryer sheets to take the smell away.

  77. Suzie Jane on 19 May 2010 at 14:26

This is disgusting but I can’t help myself since we’re on the subject of decomp.

I worked in Pathology Dept of our hospital for 15 years and witnessed several autopsies. Now these bodies were relatively fresh but when they are opened up, it’s really gross. We also got gangrenous legs on a regular basis which is almost worse.

Combo of really rotten potatoes and really rotten hamburger meat. Like a bucket of poop that some one keeps on stirring.

If you’ve ever smelled road kill of a big mammal after they have “popped” in the sun – now you’re smelling it. Sorry.

  78. Just a Mom on 19 May 2010 at 14:44

    Hi All!
I last posted in the “Who is selling pictures and making the money?” blog about Cindy having Tupperware containers with Caylee’s pictures in them. Though no one seemed to remember this, it was driving me nuts because I was sure I read it somewhere. So after days of searching I finally came across this (Shweh!):

“You would be shocked at the cash that comes in daily. Just Shocked. That Bass Boat George and KFN bought was a drop in the bucket, believe me. Cindy has well over 4 large Tupperware boxes FILLED with photos that have not been released. We sat around one night with a Margarita (sp) and printed dates and what the pics were of so we could fiile them easier. Cindy knows what they are worth”

Whomever wrote this was known as MEI, according to the website I found this on. I also found this after I changed my search terms to Sean Krause. I didn’t find anything in this post about him though.

I am hoping, praying to GOD that Cindy, George, Lee and piggy Mallory are investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. I want to know how much that sub human Cindy got in blood money for Caylee’s latest pics she sold to CBS.
