Casey Anthony update 26 May 2010

Here are the documents, finally out to the public. Thanks Smoke & Mirrors for posting the links. I have not had a chance to read all of them yet, since there was a maintenance issue with the site.

Cover Letter & Motion for Transcription Services submitted on 14 May 2010 by Attys: José Baez, J. Cheney Mason & Andrea D. Lyon

Justice Administrative Commission’s Response To Motion For Transcription Service
submitted on 19 MAY 2010

Amended Prosecution Witness List – 24 MAY 2010
Nathan (aka: Nate) Lezniewicz change of address

Amended Notice of Taking Deposition Upon Oral Examination
submitted by Atty. José Baez on 24 MAY 2010

Response to Supplemental Motion to Compel Forensic Discovery
submitted by ASA Jeffrey L. Ashton on 24 MAY 2010

Notice of Conflict
submitted by Atty. Mark Nejame 24 MAY 2010

On 21 May 2010, Cheney Mason’s office had emailed Mark NeJames office about the hearing, but there was no prior notice. This hearing was scheduled without Mark NeJames office being notified.
Pretty much the motion states that Mason’s office did NOT follow procedure on this. There is a conflict with Mark NeJames office’s calendar!
And I would not doubt that they did not follow procedure.

Hey am I frist? or should I say it this way I’m the only fool up right!! Well just have to say this then off to try and get some sleep have to much to do today. I think Casey maybe one of the only mother’s that kill their child and don’t say they are insane at the time!! Just makes one go whats with that!? I do think she is real dumb and the d-team I’m sure they keep feeding her with everythings going to be alright just wait and see!! I say yeah you go a head and wait crazy Casey! That will be one  day here because you will never see the light of day again as a free whatever you are!! Thats right you are

  2. Halfspot on 27 May 2010 at 00:06

  3. Hadley on 27 May 2010 at 03:26

    Morning Humble and all,
More nitpicking and stalling by the Defense. I wonder how long Judge Perry is going to allow it to continue?Perhaps because this is a DP case he is being extra lenient, and not give them reason for appeal. This could end up being the longest trial in history as the rate it’s going!

The sad thing is that the killer has no remorse.

  4. smoke&mirrors on 27 May 2010 at 03:58

    Good morning everyone,

In an effort to keep the names straight, I did a cross-reference check of names on the Prosecution’s Witness List to the names submitted in the Defense’s motion for Transcription Services.

The Defense has taken the deposition of the following:

    a. Appling Wells = Detective Appling S. Wells, IV, OCSO
    b. Adrienne Acevedo = Deputy Adriana Acevedo, OCSO
    c. Matt Irwin = Commander Matthew J. Irwin, OCSO
    d. Lorrie Gottesman
    e. Steven Shaw
    f. Karen Lowe = Karen Korsberg Lowe, FBI Lab
    g. Elizabeth Fontaine = Elizabeth K. Fontaine, FBI Lab
    h. Heather Seubert

In the Motion for Transcription Services, the Defense states, “the above mentioned witnesses are State witnesses….” What did I miss?! Who are Lorrie Gottesman, Steven Shaw and Heather Seubert?

New Motions Filed In Casey Anthony Case
Prosecutors Asking Judge To Strike Down Defense’s Death Penalty Motions

    POSTED: 6:44 am EDT May 27, 2010
    UPDATED: 6:57 am EDT May 27, 2010

ORLANDO, FL — Prosecutors are asking Judge Belvin Perry to strike down seven defense motions challenging Florida law as it relates to death sentences in the case against Casey Anthony.

In paperwork filed Wednesday, prosecutor Jeff Ashton called some of the motions “premature.”

Anthony’s defense is attacking Florida law that dictates whether someone convicted of a capitol felony like murder should be sentenced to life in prison or death.

Perry ordered the state to file a written response.
    He has yet to rule.

  6. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 05:20

Good morning all. Lorie Gottesman works at the FBI lab in Quantico. Is she the one who left her dna on evidence? I don’t remember. I just goggled this.

  7. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 05:23

Can’t find anything on Steven Shaw. There is one who is a magician. Maybe that is the one Mr. Biaz is hoping can pull evidence out of a hat to prove Casey innocent.

  8. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 05:26

Heather Seubert also works at the FBI lab

  9. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 05:28

Good morning Smoke. Thanks again. I don’t have time this morning. We leave at noon, and I still have packing to do. Just wanted to check in quickly to see what is happening. I’ll be following you all while waiting at airports, and wherever I am in Europe.

  10. smoke&mirrors on 27 May 2010 at 05:34

    Good morning Muesli,

Thank you for taking the time to research the ppl. I referenced earlier.

You amaze me… saw your note about leaving for Scottland & Switzerland today. Didn’t think you of all ppl. would be here this morning.

    Have a wonderful time!

  11. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 06:25

Smoke, I wonder why I can’t find anything on this Shaw person. Also wonder why the others were not listed as being associated with FBI lab.

I love Mr. Ashton’s responses. More or less telling Defense to get off the state’s back, and do your own work. He also insinuated that they had 2 years to do this, and did not. Would also like to know why the court didn’t demand a detailed accounting for the $300,000+, and what the defense did for that amount of money. This loose accounting is so fishy. I would think Casey and the Anthonys would be demanding an accounting. I know I would.

  12. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 06:27

We don’t leave till 12 noon, and everything is done. Just waiting for the color to take in my hair (not that I have any grey). Seems the media is losing interest in the case. Not much reporting about the recent docs and motions.

    Here you go Muesli:

    http://humbleopinionforum.net/cma-whos-who-list/judicial-system/law-enforcement-csi-fbi-others/

    I just updated the Who’s Who List….

Thank you again for giving me a jump start! Baez doesn’t seem to care about spelling names correctly… Steven/Stephen. Oh well, sounds the same.

  14. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 06:32

I think because we are all so involved in Caylee’s case, we almost feel that the rest of the world is also. I have yet to meet anyone here in Florida who has the slightest interest. When I ask people about it, they say things like “Are you still on that?” “What’s happening?” Then, they sort of roll eyes or change the subject. The general population really doesn’t care. It is already time to move on to the next high profile case, they seem to think. When I mention Hayleigh Cummings, no one even remembers her name. Poor babies, no one out there cares about them.

  15. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 06:37

    GM everyone!

    Smoke, thanks!

Heather works for the FBI see:

page 70 is where I found her name!

  16. smoke&mirrors on 27 May 2010 at 06:38

    Muesli,

I believe you and I commented on the apathy in the Central FL area several months ago. J.H. also picked up on the “we no longer care about that case” attitude when she attended the 16 June 2009 Caylee Memorial @ J. Blanchard Park.

Since you and J.H. live in FL, what you and possibly others who live there are picking up on may be more of the prevailing trend than Baez is making the environment out to be, no? Maybe that was his reason for showing that little montage of video with the Ant Protester upheavel 2008.

  17. smoke&mirrors on 27 May 2010 at 06:39

Hi Humble, Thanks for the link! I’ll go read up on her.

  18. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 06:41

Steve Shaw, Forensic Examiner, Trace Evidence Unit, FBI Laboratory, Quantico, VA

    Lorrie Gottesman FBI also!

  19. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 06:44

Hi Smoke, your welcome. Thanks for updating the who’s who! Before long, that page will never end!

  20. smoke&mirrors on 27 May 2010 at 07:01

 Yeah, tell me about it! And if you think that page is bad, check out the over-crowding situation in the “OTHERS” category.

The Defense strategy still seems to be one of finding the weakest link! Well, good luck with that. Even though a few mistakes were made, they certainly do not rise to the level of acquittal material for the case against Casey! IMO Baez needs to get over himself. Geez!

    BBL

  21. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 07:01

Hi ya Halfspot…thanks! As for Casey, she is the first one in Fl, so they said on tv, that hasn’t claimed nuts….I know she is going to wish she had, her lies will NOT get her off.

Hi ya Hadley, I think the Judge gives the d-team rope, and then pulls it in tight when they are out of line. The Judges have been very careful about what happens, though. We don’t want that appeal either!

  22. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 07:03

    Smoke! Never ending!

I think the weakest link in this case is Casey. She already proved to millions she is a liar, and the defense hasn’t been too good about proving her 100% innocent!

  23. Southern Justice on 27 May 2010 at 07:09

Humble if only Cindy had a dollar for every lie Casey told. She would be rich as she dreams of.

Or if she had a nickle for eveery lie SHE has told lol

  26. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 07:15

Hi ya SJ, good to see you! If we had a penny for every time Casey lied, we would all be rich too! I must say, Cindy is pretty good with lying too!

  27. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 07:42

Muesli, many people don’t have any interests in these cases, because it has not happened to them, or not to close to home, or they just don’t realize that there is a problem in the USA with people killing children. I think we need to focus on our children of tomorrow. I am also all for anyone who kills a children and found guilty needs an instant death penalty! The problem with people like Lyon, try to get these people off the dp.

  28. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 07:59

You’re right, Smoke. A few mistakes were made because in the beginning no one had any idea where this case was going. I get so aggravated when people say LE screwed up. They all think it is like the cases they see on TV, which are already solved. A murder case is not just like a puzzle where all the pieces fit nicely together. In real life, the pieces have to be molded to complete the picture, based on evidence.

    gm friends,
getting ready for camping trip over the memorial weekend!
humble thanks for your message,i try yesterday, wordpress was down!
    HAPPY MEMORIAL WEEKEND FRIENDS!!!!

  30. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 08:33

I noticed Tracy MacLaughlin and LP were not on that list. It was interesting to see that a representative of Children’s and Family Protective Services was also included on this list as well as the ‘legendary’ Hopkins family.

  31. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 08:34

Have a great camping trip Mikka.

  32. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 08:34

I forgot also that I didn’t see Rob Dick or Tony Padilla.

  33. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 08:48

Morning Humble and All! Muesli, have a wonderful time. Bring back morels! Mikka, you too, you little happy camper! Hi East!

  34. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 08:53

Oh, Baez’s new stationary with the family crest from Bozo world!!!! HAAA!!! It’s killing me! :w00t: I almost can’t continue reading!!

  35. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 09:00

    Hi Carol

  36. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:03

Gosh, we’re so ahead of ourselves, I have nothing to do but sit here with you people.

  37. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:06

Eastcoast, thanks. Yes, I saw that a couple of days ago. Sooooooooo funny. Must share with my husband (of 39 years), and my sons.

  38. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 09:09

Yes, Muesli, my husband, daughter and four sons would get a kick out of it too.

  39. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 09:16

“Greetings, We Command You to Summon” HAAAAAA!!!!! Oh, this is some funny stuff today! Who the he!! does he think he is?! The Gatekeeper and official Ring Master of the Court?! And then, bozo will cry that he doesn’t have the $500 to pay for his own motions and depos since he bought that lousy, cheap, new stationary! I’m glad the JAC is cutting him off. Old Foghorn really tried to slide that hearing under the radar too without notifying NeJame. Rude old wind bag. Is anyone home here?

  40. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 09:23

East and muesli; What’d I miss that was so funny? Are you in off topic? I may as well continue to laugh today!

  41. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 09:28

I’m here Carol. Baez is just like Casey, he expects everything rules to be broken because of his perceived self-importance. LOL

  42. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:31

Carol, sorry. It is off topic, that is why we are being very discrete. Let’s just leave it that it was not very nice, and we don’t want to bring it here, and pollute this fine site. Actually, now that I think of it, I will go to off topic for you if you are still here.

  43. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 09:36

Hi East. Baez doesn’t want to look up and get his own discovery papers either. What a lazy slouch. He is so full of himself. He thinks he has heritage and a full history of importance with that family seal motto on his letter head. I am still laughing at that one! I do genealogy for a living with family plaques, he probably got that off a cigar band!

  44. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:37

Carol, “cigar band”. I love it. Good one.

  45. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 09:37

I am always here for you muesli! I’ll go back there.

  46. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:37

Carol, wait just a minute. I’ll go there now.

  47. chachi on 27 May 2010 at 09:45

Hi Friends, I was wondering if any of you know about Caylee having her immunizations shots up to date? Since CMA didn’t have a job after Caylee was born I would think CMA never took Caylee for her regular check ups. Therefore she probably didn’t have any immuniztion shots besides the one’s she received at birth. Where is her immuniztion card?..are those filled out by CMA or an actual Dr’s office? I think this would be good evidence to show she did not care about her child.

  48. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:49

chachi, I would imagine Cindy, being a nurse of decomposition, would have seen to it that Caylee had all her shots. If anyone remembers, Cindy said, I believe at the Morgan & Morgan interview, that the only medical she ever paid for Casey was the birth of Caylee. Another lie, perhaps?????? I would think LE could check that out easily enough.

  49. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 09:51

Hi chachi. That’s a great point to bring up. I’ll try to see if I can find anything about that. I remember I was bringing my son in a lot for all sorts of differnt shots and check ups at that age. And then the Dentist started when he was two.

  50. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 09:52

Carol, my comment is out of moderation over at off topic, if you are still interested.

  51. eastcoastdeb on 27 May 2010 at 10:00

Chachi, I don’t believe anyone has heard anything regarding Caylee getting her immunization shots, let alone seeing a physician. I guess it always looked like she never existed.

  52. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 10:14

That was weird.. Did this site just go out for a few minutes or I am in twilight zone here?

  53. lynda on 27 May 2010 at 10:20

goodafternoon Humble and Humblettes, I remember that in cindy’s my space My Caylee is Missing, she states that she paid for Dr. visits and food, clothing , a roof over Caylee’s head. I’m pretty sure it was there. That’s why when she stated in the Morgan depo about not paying for medical, I knew she was lying. Back to lurking .

  54. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 10:27

I just got the warning to close shop here. We leave in a few minutes. I’ll get in touch in Atlanta. Have a good afternoon everyone.

  55. lynda on 27 May 2010 at 10:28

Bye Meusli, have a great trip.

  56. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 10:28

Hi lynda. Ok, chachi and East. Just read two different googles, Caylee was never taken to a Dentist that’s why it took longer to identify her. Do I have to list the links Humble? Please say no. Still looking…

  57. muesli on 27 May 2010 at 10:29

Lynda, I thought I was the only one who noticed Cindy’s contradiction. Sometimes I think I miss stuff, or don’t understand. Really have to go now.

  58. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 10:29

    Bye muesli!!!

  59. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 10:45

Ok, found this about Caylee’s remains: http://childprotectionprogram.org/newsletter/vol6_iss77.html
Another site refers to the TES searchers. They wanted something from the home with Caylee’s scent on it for the search dogs. The Ants refused.

  60. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 10:49

All of the last posts were off topic, I guess. Sorry Humble. Now, I am trying to magnify bozo’s fabulous family cigar store crest from his stationary and see where he copied that from. This should be good.

  63. chachi on 27 May 2010 at 11:00

Thanks for the info everyone, I bet CMA pocketed any $$$ Sindy gave her for the appointmt’s and never took her to get her shots, and filled out the imm. card herself.

  64. chachi on 27 May 2010 at 11:02

mikka, those teeth need to be filled down some.

  65. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 11:03

Mikka!!! How are you?! She looks like a fricking Cardinal bird, too bad she didn’t fly away! She really didn’t graduate either, the idiot!

  66. lynda on 27 May 2010 at 11:08

What a sham. Yikes, where are the talons

  67. lynda on 27 May 2010 at 11:10

Mikka, I heard you were going camping. Have a great time

  68. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 11:22

Lynda, I wonder if $indy could have brought home any shot up dates from the clinic she worked at to give to Caylee? Or, was that a nursing home she worked at?
I went camping once on Memorial day weekend and it started snowing. The guys were thrilled when I brought out the winter coats, hats and gloves. They thought I was nuts at first to pack them. HA!

  69. humbleopinion on 27 May 2010 at 11:31

Thanks Mikka! Interesting this is from CBSnews. How interesting is that. I guess more pictures are NOT being sold……

  70. lynda on 27 May 2010 at 11:44

Hi Humble and Carol, wait till the mortgage mediation. If the house is theirs, payment was made. jmho

  71. lynda on 27 May 2010 at 11:50

Carol, I think cindy worked for some kind of home care agency, as a nurse manager. If cma told cindy all along that she was taking Caylee to the Dr. for shots, etc, sooner or later the chit would hit the fan, especially if Caylee was getting ready for pre-scholl. Just another reason for cma to want Caylee out of her life. I’m sure Caylee was starting to spill the beans about alot of thing going on during the day. I always thought the fight on June 15 could have been from something dear little Caylee said to cindy, hence the duct tape.

  72. chachi on 27 May 2010 at 12:21

Hi Lynda, yeah I feel the same way about Caylee just starting speak in sentences…the beans were about to spill on CMA at any moment!!! My son is currently 21 months and is just starting to speak in sentences.

  73. Carol on 27 May 2010 at 12:49

I bet they pay off the whole house with back taxes at the new cut rate. Can you imagine arguing with $indy about her money? They’d give her the damm thing just to shut her up!
Yes, George Marie mentioned that when he would ask Caylee about her day and what she did at the Nanny’s she would have a blank look on her face. The poor little thing.
