Chit chat memorial weekend!

Did you know:

Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while serving in the military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.

Happy Memorial day to those who are deceased, served and are serving our country for our freedom!

Greetings to all from cold, rainy Scotland, where they still speak English because of all the brave young men and women from the USofA, who gave their lives to enable these people, and others, all over the world to continue to live in freedom. God love them, and let’s never forget them.

  2. ~LisaG~ on 29 May 2010 at 10:51

God Bless our troops everywhere! May those who lost their lives never be forgotten.

  3. humbleopinion on 29 May 2010 at 12:07

Hi everyone! Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
I am working on getting this house up for sale, now that we closed on our other one. YAY! Alot of work, and alot of cleaning. If anyone does windows, let me know!

  4. Marsha on 29 May 2010 at 13:03

Hey Humble, I don’t do windows, but I have the phone number for someone who does.

  5. Brad 'shopping cart' Conway on 29 May 2010 at 13:08

Will Casey take time to honor that guy in the marines that she was banging/cheating on Tony with, and many speculate she was going to try to drag into her whole mess?

  6. humbleopinion on 29 May 2010 at 15:37

Marsha, do they work for food?

Brad, Casey has no clue about Memorial day, she thinks it is party time. Heck she thought her daughter missing meant shopping, searching fusion, video watching…..

  7. ~LisaG~ on 29 May 2010 at 15:47

    Well said humble!

That photo of WF in our beloved American flag always made me so angry. How dare she use it that way? Didn’t her father teach her anthing?

How many woman and men, have fought, given their lives, still fight for the honor of that flag.

Total desecration of our American Flag!

  8. gigwails on 29 May 2010 at 15:49

Hi folks! Hope you all are having a great weekend. Considering the respect (or the lack thereof) Casey has for the American flag, I seriously doubt she has a clue about what the significance of Memorial Day is…

  9. Brad 'shopping cart' Conway on 29 May 2010 at 18:18

Oh yeah – forgot about her using the flag as apparel. Disgusting.

  10. humbleopinion on 29 May 2010 at 19:46

Hi everyone. Casey in that American Flag, just DISRESPECTFUL! Notice she was the only one who felt she had the RIGHT to wear it. Just like Caylee, she felt the right to kill her! Casey thinks she has alot of rights…rights that she can use for her benefit!

  11. humbleopinion on 29 May 2010 at 20:08

Soon she will wear the right to the needle!

  12. gigwails on 29 May 2010 at 20:43

    Hi Humble! Anybody else around?

  13. blessedknox on 29 May 2010 at 21:25

Just a quick hello. This connection over here is worthless. Spent hours yesterday evening to get internet to work. Blessedknox, I hope you are feeling well, didn’t know you were in the hospital. So, while I have a few minutes of connection, I’ll go and read what’s happening if anything. It’s still quite cold here, but at least not raining. Have a wonderful weekend all. I’ll try to get online from time to time.

  15. Halfspot on 29 May 2010 at 23:34

Hi all, Yes everyone is right about Casey or anyone wearing the Flag like that!! That made me very mad and  The wars and Memorial Day hit close to my family’s heart and mind!! I grew up with my Dad serving in the military also a long line of other family member’s serving!! With out giving away my age to much, my Dad was a medic on the chopper’s in the Korean war!! Very sad for him the things he would have to do or should I say what he could not do to save someones life. Yet talk with them and tell them everything was going to be alright. Give them something for the pain and pray with them and have them tell him, to tell their family how much they loved them!! He was messed up in his mind for along time and still has alot of sad days still to this day! He thinks alot about the war now and what our guys and girl must go through and lets not forget their family because their loved ones my not be fighting but they still have a very hard time!! I know at times my family did!! I always try to speak to a soldier when I see them out somewhere and shake their hand, just to let them know we care!! You just never know what kind of day they maybe having it always seems to put a  on their face!! God Bless them all and their family not just on Memorial Day but always!! Thanks Humble for having this post, Hugs to all and take care of each other and keep your love ones close.

  16. Halfspot on 29 May 2010 at 23:44

As always this is the best place to be when away from home for alittle bit, it’s like my 2 home  and life is way to short. Just look at poor little Caylee got killed before her little life even took off, and by her own mother!! So we never know what may happen down the road of life so, be nice to each other and don’t forget to stop and smell that flower, and take along your loved ones to smell them too. Hope everyone has a nice and happy weekend!! Hugs to all.

Blessed, didn’t know you were in the hospital, hope all is well!

Muesli, sorry about your connection. Hope your having fun!

Halfspot, waking up and seeing your posts always makes me smile! Your too funny. Poor Caylee, I believe she lived a miserable 2.5 years of life!

Mema, good to see you! How many more rounds will he have to do? How are you holding up? I bought a juicer the other day, today I am off to get some fruit for real fruit juice breakfast!

AZRenee, good to see you! Wow, I didn’t realize you were a military kid! Both my girls are with Navy men! I am some what surprised as they both said they will never marry military guys, since they grew up with their dad in the military and it was hard for them.

  20. Carol on 30 May 2010 at 09:08

Hello all and Happy Memorial weekend! Blessed and MeMa, hope for good health to you and your families. My hub is on the mend from double hernia surgery last week. I got him to walk at the park today with me and the cattle dog. Someone has to patrol those squirrels and chipmunks and try to round them up.
So, Tuesday, fun. How do you think the Ants are doing with the mediators from the bank? Do you think those guys pulled out all their hair yet after dealing with Mrs. Clean? I hope we hear something soon about that too.

  21. Maze on 30 May 2010 at 10:32

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TO EVERYONE

bLESSED HOPE YOUR ON THE MEND.

  23. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 14:22

Hi Humble and everyone, Humble thank you. I know with Caylee being killed is not funny in anyway. It’s just with the Ant. and the way they talk and act, no matter what we can’t bring Caylee back. but true!! I don’t think we will ever see a family like these nuts as long as we live!! They never hurt when Caylee was killed, no one can ever tell me they hurt!! If Cindy is so worred about what other think of her dumb family? I wonder what she would think if she could step outside her body and see what the world see’s? What would Cindy think or have to say then?

  24. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 14:27

MeMa- I hope Jered keeps getting better, that will be a very happy day!! Blessed, do hope your feeling alot better!!

  25. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 14:29

Carol-make your Hubby take it slow its good that his out walking!!

  26. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 14:31

Well I’ll try and come back later here’s hoping everyone has a good and happy day!!

  27. humbleopinion on 30 May 2010 at 15:17

Hi ya Halfspot…no I wasn’t talking funny about Caylee being killed, just your posts make me smile. I was talking your 2nd home and your smilies, etc. When this case comes to the A’s and Caylee, they have been the most disrespectful grandparent’s I have ever seen. They should never be allowed to call themselves grandparents ever again. We should have a civil suit against the name grandparents and A’s!

  28. humbleopinion on 30 May 2010 at 15:19

OK, going to finish with the painting pf the trim of the house!

  29. lynda on 30 May 2010 at 15:52

Hi everyone, God Bless America, and thank you to all military men and women, past and present for keeping this country safe. Worked all day today and tomorrow too, so Happy Memorial Day to Humble and Humblettes. Justice For Caylee, may she always rest in peace.

  30. lynda on 30 May 2010 at 15:55

Bees, so glad you’re on the mend, and MeMa, I’ll continue to pray for Jerad through his journey to recovery.

  31. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 21:23

Hey Humble, so glad I make you smile  just did not wants the other good peeps her take me the wrong way!! I’m with you I just don’t get the Ant. have to laugh at them, to keep from crying at times. If anyone was giving away an award for dumb the Ant’s would win hands down!! I don’t think you could put their brains together without having dumb!! Yes you are also right Humble they should never have any kids around them ever again!

  32. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 21:40

Everyone does know when this goes to court, the Ant. will be saying we have been looking for the real killer. We all say they do not say a word about the killer!! I would lay money on them taking the stand and saying they have been looking something the cops have never done!! It will be more lies and more lies!! Cindy will be saying if Caylee talked about a dog then there must be a nanny, and we love you Casey. You are such a good mother. NOT!! We will hear so many lies they will have to name it!! AS THE WORLD LIE HERE YE HERE YE I GAVE YOU THE ANT. FAMILY!! WITH ALL THEIR MISTRUTHS HERE YE HERE YE!!

  33. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 21:47

The news will be saying really people we can’t make this stuff up!! They will sound so dumb!! Because we know they get on the blogs and read about theirself so I;m sure we give them ideas? On what to say and what to do next, sure hope we help put the hole bunch in jail!! Thats when we will be able to say HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!!

  34. Halfspot on 30 May 2010 at 21:49

Heres hoping everyone had a great day, hope to be back in alittle bit!! Maybe someone will be around to say Hi to!!

  36. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 06:47

Halfspot, you do have to laugh at the Anthony’s, if you don’t you will just cry and think what a waste. They have proved over and over again that they are just very selfish people. They care about no one, except the murderer who killed Caylee.

  37. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 07:47

OK, i am going out to finish the trim on my house! It is almost done. What a pain in the arse it has been!

  38. Halfspot on 31 May 2010 at 08:01

GM all, Humble, don’t know that the Ant. really care about their killer daughter, as much as they do the blood money. But true. Here’s hoping everyone has a nice Memorial Day!

  39. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 08:06

Halfspot true. They are out for the blood money Caylee is now bringing them. In the end she turned out to be a money maker for the pigs.

  40. Marsha on 31 May 2010 at 09:06

Humble, are you painting the house you are selling or the one you just bought? I hope it’s not as hot where you are as it is here…it would be a miserable day to paint here.

  41. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 09:32

Hi Marsha the one in CA we are going to sell! It was hot as ever yesterday and today is the same! I must say the paint won’t freeze!

  42. Marsha on 31 May 2010 at 10:38

I hope you get it done before you cook yourself. Take lots of breaks!

  43. Carol on 31 May 2010 at 11:26

Hi all. Just reading over some old stuff. Found this interesting. Lies and more lies. http://flawebhosting.net/docdump110608/dcfnarrative.pdf
Do you think Casey thought of Caylee at all this Memorial weekend?

  44. muesli on 31 May 2010 at 11:32

Hello all. Just in quickly while I have a connection. Golfing here in Scotland is such a unique experience. No riding in golf carts. It is all up and down steep hills on foot. I’m holding up pretty well for an old broad. It is 7:30 p.m. here, so you all still have the whole afternoon to enjoy Memorial Day. I’m skipping dinner in the dining room, and having my supper brought to my room. I shall do the same tomorrow evening, so I can, hopefully, watch the hearing. Is it still scheduled for 2 p.m.? I wouldn’t want to miss it. Hope this tMobile connection works. It seems to be such an iffy thing.

  45. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 13:33

Thanks Marsha, the breeze is cool, so that helps. Almost finished!

Hi Carol, she only thought of herself this week end like she does every day! She is about herself.

Hi Muesli, you golfing gal you! Sounds good for dinner, I will have steak and potatoes …. Yep tomorrow at 2 pm fl time!

  46. mikka on 31 May 2010 at 13:45

    hi everybody!
be back from my camping trip, tired, sun burned.make a nap,see ya all tomorrow friends!

  47. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 13:56

    Welcome back Mikka!

  48. Halfspot on 31 May 2010 at 14:40

Hello Carol, that was a good doc. to go back and read again. Lets see if we have this right? They will spend the rest of their sorry good for nothing life looking for missing kids!! Because with them and kid finders, they all know alot about finding those missing kids, or that child however they want to put it!!! Cindy knows to go look on all TV. for the child that is dead, no I mean missing right? Cindy is so smart she knows when an Amber Alert should be posted!! It should be done whenever the dead beat mom says I have gone to all bars and nope not at that one! On to the next party, nope not there either!! Wait did I leave her in the trunk of the car? No wait she”s not there now, but boy did she leave a bad smell, Dad will be so mad. Mom will be mad at me for messing up my cloths cuz I don’t work and she buys everything even if she does not know at the time I use her card!! Oh no now a new washer and dryer, what next we will never get you or I mean that smell out of that car! So lets see I told the cops all the mistruth’s I learned from the best mom in the world!! I, we did not call the cops for help right away cuz we knew they may find you, oh I mean I was looking everywhere and then somemore party”s and dumb Mom had not found me yet!! I mean when mom dragged my a$$ home. day party time over for now!! All we saw was the money to be made, I just knew you would be good for something one day! I went home after 31 days and we called for help!! We had not a very good photo of me, I guess we could use my mug shot thats a good one!! or I mean the nanny, no car the dumb cops took mine away or I mean not knowing what the nanny”s driving now or where I put you? I mean the nanny put you!! So you see it is and was the dumb cops fault!! That they could not find that child of mine right away, cuz with all the help and stuff that we gave them and helped out so much cuz we know what we are doing!! If an Amber Alert with just that child’s photo had been posted!! Then more people driving around would have run off the road into that swamp and found where I put her, I mean the nanny!! So you see, we all helped out cuz we never do wrong cuz we are the smart Ant. family just sticking together as always!! Now show us they dam money we will sue you all when I walk free cuz you all made me give all my blood money to that dumb Bozo of mine!! nuts the Ant. family!!

  49. Debwv on 31 May 2010 at 15:20

Good evening, hoping everyone had a great weekend. Imagine Casey thinking about all those parties she could gone too. Also all the guys she would be sleeping with! She doesn’t think about Caylee, she was thorn in her side! Nobody in that family thought of Caylee the weekend. But maybe Cindy,on how to get more blood money.

  50. Carol on 31 May 2010 at 15:28

Hi Halfspot. Couldn’t you just slap the crap out of the murderer and Spindy for telling all those lies?! All they need to do is read that in court, but unfortunatley, she and the skank weren’t under oath then. Tomorrow should be a hoot, I can’t wait. Since I have my hub home here, I’m having him join me watch the hearing. He has really good insight for an outsider. At one hearing, he thought it was like the ‘Wag the Dog’ movie or that Jim Carey movie (can’t think of the title now) and that it was all a made up for TV show! He thought bozo was a real lousy actor. I told him that it all was real, sad but true.

  51. Carol on 31 May 2010 at 15:38

Hi Deb. Besides all the military people that lost their lives for our country, I always think of people that passed that were close to our family on this weekend. We usually bring out the old records and tapes that were so much fun. But, anyway, I just can’t understand how she can sit there every day and not go berzerk and be freaking out since she is supposed to be innocent and is not having any fun anymore. Do you think they have her medicated? I would have to be. She should commit suicide or confess. There is no one that really believes her at all. End this charade and stop being such a biatch.

  52. humbleopinion on 31 May 2010 at 18:31

Hi everyone, on for just a minute. Got this website in an email:

    http://www.murderauction.com/index.php

    making money off the murderers!

  53. Halfspot on 31 May 2010 at 22:37

Hey Humble, that is bad. People just don’t care how the money comes anymore or even how they get it. I’m also sure Cindys  mind is just working overtime thinking please don’t send us to jail you can keep Casey just don;t take us cuz we can make lots of money!! Don’t you all remember her act that she put on for the cops, Cindy saying I really don’t care what you do to Casey, I just want Caylee back. Yet don’t forget Cindy says Casey loved that child and would not hurt her. No Casey just killed her is all. To me Cindy can’t have it both ways or can she? Looks to me like Cindy will take that money no matter where or how it comes so long as it come their way!! Just like when they found out a babys body found right up the road from them and they go home to get their dogs and other stuff so they can go to the ritz. I ask just how upset did they look, not to much if you ask me!! I said this from day one that Caylee was dead and they knew it and who did it!! So no matter what is said they are a  pc. of work! Those’s nuts don’t fall far from the tree and they sure do stick togther!! So heres hoping they all go down together!! If they don’t go to jail together I’m sure they will be togther in HE!!

  54. Halfspot on 31 May 2010 at 22:53

Hope everyones day was good!! If anyone on early am. what time does the circus begain is it am or think I read it somewhere that it will be at 2? Good morning all. Halfspot, the hearing is set for 2 p.m. I’m wondering if this is one that Casey has to appear, or is it just status reports that she does’t have to show up. 2 p.m. means that it will be 7 p.m. here. I’ll have to try to get out of dinner again tonight to watch it.

  57. smoke&mirrors on 1 June 2010 at 02:48

    Good Morning Muesli et al,

Hope you are having a good time. Looks like the weather is giving you a good excuse to not be out on the golf course today… rainy is it? Isn’t cyberspace grand…. you’ll be able to view today’s hearing with us from across the POND! Casey’s attendance will be mandatory today. This is not a status hearing.

Casey Anthony To Appear In Court Today
4 Motions To Be Heard By Judge Belvin Perry

    POSTED: 6:19 am EDT June 1, 2010

ORLANDO, Fla. — Casey Anthony’s defense wants the court to rule in their favor on four different motions in Orange County Court Tuesday afternoon.

The big motion on the table is that Anthony’s attorneys want Judge Belvin Perry to force the state to give more specifics on why they are seeking the death penalty. At the last hearing, the defense said the state’s answer didn’t cut it.

Also, Anthony’s defense will argue the previous judge’s ruling about an illegally made tape-recording of an investigator interview should be reversed. The recording made by a volunteer searcher who says he searched the woods on Suburban Drive. He claims Caylee’s remains were not there.

The third motion on the agenda is that Baez wants prosecutors to share forensic information they have not received so far.

Finally, the defense doesn’t want the public to know who’s visiting casey in jail. They want visitation logs sealed.

The hearing is at 2 p.m. at the Orange County courthouse. You can watch it live on WESH.com.

More Death Penalty Motions Expected In Casey Case
    Tuesday, June 01, 2010 6:19:19 AM

    Reported by Jacqueline Fell

ORLANDO — Several motions ruled on by Judge Stan Strickland will be back in court Tuesday.

Casey Anthony’s defense team wants the motions reconsidered by Judge Belvin Perry now that Strickland stepped down.

There will also be more challenges to the death penalty.

The defense says the state hasn’t justified its case. Last week, the state responded saying it’s too soon to make a decision.

This has been an ongoing battle between the defense and the state.

The judge ordered the state to tell the defense what aggravating circumstances existed when seeking the death penalty.

The list came within days. The defense says it’s not specific enough. Perry will likely make a final decision Tuesday.

Later this week, the defense will begin a vigorous schedule of depositions.

When Perry took over the case, he put strict deadlines on attorneys and ordered them to get to work.

On Friday, three people are set to be questioned under oath, including two sheriff’s officials and Casey’s ex-boyfriend, Ricardo Morales.

This will be the first round of depositions that are scheduled nearly every week, for the rest of summer.

New motions to be heard in Anthony murder trial
Updated: Monday, 31 May 2010, 10:07 PM EDT
    Published : Monday, 31 May 2010, 10:07 PM EDT

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) – Casey Anthony has been in jail the last 20 months. Right now, all it takes is the simplest request and we can learn everything from what Casey Anthony ate for breakfast to what she ordered from the jail commissary to who is visiting her behind bars.

On Tuesday, Anthony’s attorneys will be fighting to keep the public from seeing who is visiting her; they want those visitor logs sealed.

Attorneys are also asking Judge Belvin Perry to overturn some rulings in the case made by the original judge on the case, Stan Strickland, that did not go their way.

The defense also wants the judge to force the State to be more specific as to why prosecutors are asking for the death penalty.

At the last hearing, the judge ruled that prosecutors have to spell out why, but Anthony’s attorneys said the State’s response was too vague.

Finally, Casey’s defense team wants prosecutors to hand over any and all forensic information they have not received.

  62. lynda on 1 June 2010 at 04:27

Goodmorning Smoke and anybody a lurkin, I think todays hearing will be the one that will set the tone for the upcoming trail. We really all seem to like Judge Perry, we think he’s tough and fair, but we really don’t know him. If he grants “all” these motions for the defence, then we can somewhat conclude that he’s leaning more towards the d-team. I think not, but we’ll see. Have a great day. Can’t wait to see the outcome.

Serving Orange and Osceola counties, Judge Perry is charged with leading the one of the largest judicial circuits in the state with over 50 judges.
Judge Perry started his work as a circuit judge in Osceola County in 1989. Throughout his career, he’s held a number of administrative positions, including Administrative Judge of Osceola County.

He received a Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, a Masters Degree in Education from Tuskegee University and a Bachelor of Science in History also from Tuskegee University.

Judge Perry currently serves as the Chair of the Florida Conference of Circuit Judges. The position represents every crcuit judge from Pensacola to Key West, and makes recommendations regarding laws and court processes and interfaces with the Florida Supreme Court and the legislature.

He’s the first African-American judge to receive the prestigious title and only the second Ninth Judicial Circuit Court judge to hold the position.

Judge Perry has handled a number of high-profile cases in the area, including the case against Jason Rodriguez. He’s the man accused of killing one person and injuring several others in a downtown office building last year.
He’s also presided over the case of off-duty Orlando Police Officer Al Gordon. He was shot by two men in 2007.

Judge Perry’s colleagues on the bench, who he previously practiced before, have described his days as a trial attorney with such words as “thorough,” “well-prepared,” and “driven.” Judge Perry himself acknowledges that he would spend two to three hours preparing for every hour spent in court.

Also, Chief Judge Perry was the presiding judge on 14 October 2008 for Casey Anthony’s Grand Jury Hearing.

Of course, here in Blogdom it would not surprise me if this judge renders a decision(s) perceived as unpopular some will assume the judge is for the Defense. Actually, the role of the judge is to remain fair and impartial, which he has demonstrated. He also consistently sights case law in support of his rulings.

I’m no legal eagle, but I believe that rendering legally sound and impartial decisions is about all any reasonable person would expect – popular decision or not. JMO

GM! Thanks for all the info Smoke. You rock!

Lynda, how are you! Judge Perry is tough and fair and also makes the defense team prepare for the hearings, not like they use to be unprepared and whiny!
