Casey was a NO-SHOW in court today, she fell down and got an owie when she fell at the court house while secured in her cuffs and ankle chains.. She is in an undisclosed location getting her owies fixed. Of course it was an accident, but we haven’t really heard from Cindy and George as what their real truth is on the accident! lol
Perry Mason wanna be, waived Casey’s right to not be in the court room.
Judge Perry did NOT did not over turn any of Judge Strickland ruling in this case, especially the one where the d-team recorded and interview with an EquuSearch volunteer, the d-team wants kept secret and sealed. He also did not over turn the grand jury transcript of George that got Casey indicted.
The Judge also stated that the Prosecutors have followed the rules as to providing the ruling and do NOT have to be more specific in their response to the death penalty!
The d-teams request to keep her jail visitation logs sealed, was not decided on today and a ruling should come next week. Of course if they get this approved, wonder how many other inmates attorney’s will make this try to happen? Casey is always in need of that special attention.
The Judge politically correctly told the defense to get on with their work on this case, already!
Of course there was no George in court, but Cindy was there! Of course from the picture above, she looks like she was sleeping again!

This interview was recorded by the witness, Joe Jordan, not the Defense. Joe turned it over to the state attorneys office and they filed a motion to have it sealed because it is illegal to record someone without their knowledge. The defense PI Mort Smith was not aware that he was being recorded. The other person on the recording was Joe’s attorney and I’m not sure if he knew. LDB stated that it was even illegal to listen to it and that her office had not, nor would they since the PI that was recorded can simply testify to what was said. The defense wants it to become part of discovery for some reason, I guess because they still haven’t given up on the Caylee wasn’t there defense. This to me shows just how desperate they really are. They would risk exposing their sleezy PI tactics to get ANYTHING they can work with in order to create reasonable doubt. It’s obvious they have nothing.
I have a question if anyone knows. If there were a recording done legally that the state attorneys had in their possesion, but they didn’t plan on using it, will they still have to release it as part of discovery? I hope that question makes sense.
I should clarify what type of recordings I am thinking of. Like when the house was bugged, I wonder if those recordings will become part of discovery. Or if they really did have their house bugged?
For instance when Tim Miller was there with the map and George’s friend made the statement about the b*tch in the bedroom. Surely a bug would pick that up. Talk about “Bombshells”. Like everyone needs more evidence to obsess over. LOL

Judge Perry found no case law precedent in National Database which would support sealing Jail Visitation Records. TAKEN UNDER ADVISEMENT. A ruling is expected sometime next week.
Judge Perry upholds Judge Strickland’s rulings regarding the following:
1) GA’s Grand Jury Testimony. Not discoverable for the Defense. DENIED
2) Request to have Joe Jordan’s tape recorded interview, which he illegally taped with PI Mortimer Smith, unsealed and released to the Defense. DENIED
3) The Defense’s motion for Transcription Services for ‘TIPS.’ GRANTED Judge Perry authorized a JAC payment up to $2,000. He also stated that the need for more funds for records requests by the Defense would be re-evaluated on a case-by-case basis should the Defense exhaust its originally approved budget of $3,500.
4) Motion regarding the Defense’s request for TES records will be heard at a later date.
Judge Perry counseled the Defense on “putting the cart before the horse” by requesting the court to compel the Oakridge Laboratory to release information. The proper procedure has not been followed to establish materiality. DENIED without prejudice. Advised Defense must take Deposition first to determine materiality.
Judge Perry stated the Prosecution’s response of the Aggravating Circumstances met the legal requirements. The Defense’s request for more specificity will be DENIED.

On another note, after reading several of the news media reports on the hearing yesterday, I was confused so you know me. Just decided to organize the motions & rulings in a way that hopefully would be clearer. Because you know what? At the end of the day, these motions and rulings will set the tone for the final outcome of the trial and upon Casey’s conviction they will also play an important role in the appeals process.

ORLANDO, Fla. –Authorities in Orange County confirmed on Wednesday that a video camera captured the fall suffered by Casey Anthony before her hearing on Tuesday.
Orange County Communications Manager Steve Triggs said he has viewed the video taken from an overhead camera in the elevator where the fall happened.
Triggs said it appeared one of Anthony’s leg chains became entangled in the opening between the elevator and elevator door, causing her to fall forward.
Triggs said it doesn’t currently appear there were any security issues arising from the incident.
Triggs said the video would likely be released to the public on Wednesday afternoon.

Casey will not have to attend the next court hearing in the case. There’s a status hearing set for June 21; Casey is no longer required to appear at status hearings.
Meanwhile, prosecutors are also expected to release more evidence in the case in the coming weeks.
