A thought about similarities between CMA and Joran vds (short for very disgusting sadist). Both of them were young spoiled narcissists whose families always covered for them. Time after time they broke the rules with no consequences – she, theft; he rape and probably murder. They were never held accountable and now she is facing the death penalty in the US and he is facing a long life in a Peruvian prison. ( For those of you who don’t think life in a Peruvian prison is maybe even worse than death just google lurigancho or castro castro prison. They are basically run by the inmates. )
I do not understand why so many parents will not teach children about responsibilities and consequences. I do not believe these people were born that way. And in the end the consequences are far worse than any discipline the parents could have imposed.

It gives me hope that we as a society will be able to gain the necessary insight into the minds of the 20-something year olds who were not held accountable for their actions (bad behavior). IMO, This type of analysis needs to be done and ideas discussed on how to intervene before these people spiral totally out of control to the point of committing murder.

Smoke – I’ve been thinking about what you said about society. I expect you’ve read Lord of the Flies which was published in 1954. There you had a society of children basically bringing themselves up and organizing themselves. The result was brutal. I think that in recent decades many in our society have left their children to bring themselves up with television as the babysitter. Without an adult to discuss what they are seeing, kids put their own interpretation on it – perhaps it even becomes their reality along with videogames. Also, with both parents working or single parents working, children turn to their peers for help when they have a problem. I believe that as children mature they need an adult to talk to as soon as they come home from school or they will use peers to solve problems and it won’t be any more healthy than the book was.
Did you know Joran’s dad gave him an account of $50,000 to play the Aruba casinos as a teenager? It seems to me like saying go away and play and leave me alone. What on earth did he expect his son to learn gambling? And how on earth did Casey’s parents have no idea that from 2006 until Caylee’s death she was just pretending to go to work? Why would they pay all her bills and not question the fact she had no funds?
We have to change things pretty dramatically if we are going to turn things around. Or maybe I’ve just become my grandmother who always talked about the “good old days”. I swore I would never become like that but hey!

Yes Carol. I do love the Zanny story. Casey wanted to be a photographer. She had a bucket of over 1000 photos. But somehow not one of Zanny. Casey spent her life on the phone but cops couldn’t find even one to a person named or who knew of Zanny. The behavior of the entire Anthony family suggests Casey is guilty… If Casey was so innocent, then why all the inconsistencies with G&C’s stories? If they ever told the truth, they wouldn’t have to keep up with which story they told when.
I hear prison in Peru isn’t too much fun. I hope Joren is taken care of by the other prisoners this guy has forfeited his right to breathe my air as far as I’m concerned. I am really surprised the judge allows gum chewing in this court. On Court TV I have seen judges ask even spectators to stop and they actually have the bailliff give tissues to witnesses to spit out their gum.

Just arrived and updated myself. Also checked the mysterious one person blog. What I noticed most was that there was absolutely no information that condtradicted all those “untrue” things everyone is saying. Oh well!
A thought about similarities between CMA and Joran vds (short for very disgusting sadist). Both of them were young spoiled narcissists whose families always covered for them. Time after time they broke the rules with no consequences – she, theft; he rape and probably murder. They were never held accountable and now she is facing the death penalty in the US and he is facing a long life in a Peruvian prison. ( For those of you who don’t think life in a Peruvian prison is maybe even worse than death just google lurigancho or castro castro prison. They are basically run by the inmates. )
I do not understand why so many parents will not teach children about responsibilities and consequences. I do not believe these people were born that way. And in the end the consequences are far worse than any discipline the parents could have imposed.

It gives me hope that we as a society will be able to gain the necessary insight into the minds of the 20-something year olds who were not held accountable for their actions (bad behavior). IMO, This type of analysis needs to be done and ideas discussed on how to intervene before these people spiral totally out of control to the point of committing murder.

Don’t know gigwails. Just as interesting is that on the 911 call Cindy did give up that information which I think will go a long way toward convicting Casey in a circumstantial case. Do you think Cindy losts control that night or was it just rage that Casey would not tell her what she wanted to know?

Smoke – I’ve been thinking about what you said about society. I expect you’ve read Lord of the Flies which was published in 1954. There you had a society of children basically bringing themselves up and organizing themselves. The result was brutal. I think that in recent decades many in our society have left their children to bring themselves up with television as the babysitter. Without an adult to discuss what they are seeing, kids put their own interpretation on it – perhaps it even becomes their reality along with videogames. Also, with both parents working or single parents working, children turn to their peers for help when they have a problem. I believe that as children mature they need an adult to talk to as soon as they come home from school or they will use peers to solve problems and it won’t be any more healthy than the book was.
Did you know Joran’s dad gave him an account of $50,000 to play the Aruba casinos as a teenager? It seems to me like saying go away and play and leave me alone. What on earth did he expect his son to learn gambling? And how on earth did Casey’s parents have no idea that from 2006 until Caylee’s death she was just pretending to go to work? Why would they pay all her bills and not question the fact she had no funds?
We have to change things pretty dramatically if we are going to turn things around. Or maybe I’ve just become my grandmother who always talked about the “good old days”. I swore I would never become like that but hey!

I wouldn’t doubt if it was Cindy or somebody affiliated with that crooked bunch. They, along with Conway and Baez, pay close attention to what we say on the blogs. We represent the same kind of folks that will be on that jury and we ask the same sort of questions jurors will be asking themselves.
Then they must be very very nervous by now.
You know, all the so called experts say it is going to be all about forensics. I don’t think so. I think all the circumstantial behaviour from the smell, to the not reporting the child missing, to the lying, to being the last person to see the child, to the changing stories and the cell tower pings are going to convict her.

What ever happened to that written script Casey got from Zanny? What a bunch of malarkey crapola that is. The 31 days is the biggest hurdle to explain. What could they possibly say? Yes Carol. I do love the Zanny story. Casey wanted to be a photographer. She had a bucket of over 1000 photos. But somehow not one of Zanny. Casey spent her life on the phone but cops couldn’t find even one to a person named or who knew of Zanny. Casey left Zanny at the Sawgrass apartments or maybe it was Blanchard Park or maybe even she gave her to her while she got her things together to leave. But the body was found by Casey’s home? Ohhhh yes, I do love the Zanny story.

Honestly, I think it will be made known at the Zenaida hearing with Morgan. Her lawyer Kasten will just say she lied and she is sorry. Sorry, my foot. I doubt they will, she is an Anthony after all. Her confession will be a God send and a victory and they will be thrilled. The behavior of the entire Anthony family suggests Casey is guilty… If Casey was so innocent, then why all the inconsistencies with G&C’s stories? If they ever told the truth, they wouldn’t have to keep up with which story they told when.

I hear prison in Peru isn’t too much fun. I hope Joren is taken care of by the other prisoners this guy has forfeited his right to breathe my air as far as I’m concerned. He won’t be getting any jalapeno cheez dip or breath mints in there for sure. He may meet some people who call him muffin or cookie though.
Not to be crass, but we may as well pitch in and send him a dress and some lipstick at least he can look the part he will be playing in that prison. Yikes!

I am really surprised the judge allows gum chewing in this court. On Court TV I have seen judges ask even spectators to stop and they actually have the bailliff give tissues to witnesses to spit out their gum.
Be careful over there, one never knows when playing with nuts on a play ground, may not be good for ones health!!!
