Pretty much a chit chat tonight, but I wanted to put out about the Joran Van der Sloot and some info on Misty Croslin, and Kyron Horman…..
As most of us know, Van der Slott, admitted to killing Stephany Flores. He claims that she invaded his privacy by going on his lap top and viewing some information about him being a suspect in the murder of Natalee Holloway. Van der Sloot in my opinion did kill Natalee, and I hope that justice will come soon for Stephany. It is unsure if there will be any confession to Natalee’s murder.
Misty Croslin sat quietly in her pre-trial hearing today. According to the Pa Croslin, he said that he thinks this is all a setup. Little Misty and Hanky were the middlemen runners. Sounds to me like they were into the drug scene, whether selling, using or the middlebrats. Police have a video, and sounds to me like they are pretty much guilty as charged. The old man Croslin needs to stick a sock in it, and get his own life already. He is just as much of a problem as his kids are.
In the disappearance of Kyron Horman there is really no news. Tips keep going into the Portland Oregon Sheriff’s office and has prompted some searches, but nothing. Kyron went missing Friday when he never returned home from school.
I do not understand how a 7 year old boy can walk into his school hall way and disappear? Something bothers me about this story.
Joran Van Der Sloot will be going to 1 of the worst prisons in the world. The prison guards give out condoms to the prisoners because aids is a epidemic in Peru prisons. That is justice!

I agree misslazy. Is there proof that he entered the school – video, for instance. I think I saw some. We have the same thing happen up here in Toronto a couple of years ago. It was a serial predator who kept going into schools to try and grab children. Don’t know whether he ever succeeded or if he was caught but about the same time a child did disappear off the streets nearby and that guy was caught but only after he killed her. I think predators should never be allowed out because they cannot be rehabilitated.

Are you folks hearing the chatter about Joran confessing if he turns out to be telling the truth could get 6-20 years only?
I hope they do things like check the inside of the laptop to see if it is coated in blood spatter which it is likely if his story has any truth. And can you really only get that much time for killing someone because they want to leave and that makes you angry? Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Caroly, there is talk that his attorney told him to say that because if he admitted to stealing then killing her, that it would be a life sentence under Peruvian law.
It is all a ploy to give him the least amount of jail time. I hope they are able to disprove his story about her looking him up on his laptop and “invading his privacy”. That would make a big difference I believe, in his charges and sentence(s).

Michelle – I have been looking for the video. I have found the link but it does not link any more to a video – the video is blank and the link is just a news story. |Humble – I think the second release was Sep 5 according to the site I was just at but am not sure.
Michelle – the question is why the prosecutors would want to give him the least possible time in jail. They must know he is well on his way to being a serial killer among other crimes (like pimping and extortion). So the question arises do they want to disprove his story or not? I sure hope they do because after six years in prison he will be only 28 and even more violent.

Maybe because not really any good news, now days only bad stuff!! Just makes me so 
and sad. Even with my daughter still living at home she is just 21 yrs old, seems the older she gets the more I worry!! I know she is a real good and smart young lady, but to good of the heart in thinking everyone’s good people and thats not always true!! Now she is street smart we always knew we should teach her that, but now days you never really know who’s a good person till it’s to late at times!! To many sick people in the world now, you hate to scare them to death but sometimes I feel like it is the only way to keep her save.

As for this little boy that is missing right out from the middle of the school hall!! Kyron, and his step Mom go to school early for a science thing, then time for school to start so she leaves. Right? They say no one had to sign in for this before school thing! I want to know why not!!? Anyone could go that day!! Not good!! What is wrong they will put video’s in High schools now because of fights, drugs, guns, killing happening!! So with all the little kids that come up missing taken away by a** holes that do God knows what to them!! Hurts them kill them then throw them away like their nothing!! Video”s should be in all schools and should have the doors locked!! Then if you come to school you most show ID. and sign. I’m sorry it maybe alot to have to go through to be at the school and there maybe some that don’t like it but so be it!! It may keep our kids alive!!
I forget what year it was, but when that DC. sniper was running around and they found a note, about our kids not being save to go to school. We lived in Richmond Va. then and they closed the schools down, they then said how long can we do this our kids need to be in school? So all of us that could were given radio’s and put at place’s around the schools some of us in the woods with cops all around!! They then went to lock down at the schools and at the front doors they had someone sit at a desk with a phone and radio. Then who ever came to the front door had to show their ID. through the glass door and that person would then find out if you had a child in school or who they were there to see or talk to. Only then were you let in to sign in. It was not that hard to do as for having someone sit at the front door and do that!! I’m not talking about having people all out in the woods and stuff just at the doors!! Funny I can’t remember anyone getting mad or upset with the schools being locked down like that and showing ID. My guess is, we were just happy, just knowing our kids were save!!

I may not post alot when everyone is on but I do get on when I can and read so I can try and stay on top of things here. So if I have missed this if someone could be so kind to post it, they said on the news that it was Kyron’s step Mom that took him to school. Has anyone heard if his real mother could have come and taken him!? I have prayed it is a family thing and that he is loved and save. I know at times it may not be a good thing for a family member to take these little ones! It just would be so nice to have a happy ending just once!!

WASHINGTON (AP) – The FBI thought it was closing in on Joran Van der Sloot in the notorious Natalee Holloway missing-teenager case, paying him at least $15,000 in a sting operation, federal officials said Wednesday. But when the agency delayed his arrest to help build a murder case, he took the money and headed for Peru, where authorities say he now has confessed to killing a different young woman.
Federal law enforcement officials and a private investigator say the work on Holloway’s disappearance was revived about six weeks ago when van der Sloot reached out to someone close to the Alabama teenager’s mother and requested $250,000 in exchange for disclosing the location of the young woman’s body on the island of Aruba.
Aruba authorities have been frustrated in their efforts to prosecute van der Sloot because they have been unable to find her remains.
The federal officials said Wednesday that Holloway’s mother contacted authorities in Alabama, and the FBI set a sting operation in motion targeting van der Sloot. He has since been charged in Alabama with trying to extort money from the family.
Some $15,000 was wired to a bank account van der Sloot controlled, officials added.
Bo Dietl, a private investigator, said van der Sloot received an additional $10,000 in cash. In April, shortly after van der Sloot’s father died, van der Sloot contacted an attorney for the Holloway family, John Kelly, and offered to explain how Holloway died in exchange for $250,000, Dietl said.
Dietl said that at a May 10 meeting in Aruba, Kelly offered van der Sloot $25,000 upfront, with the rest to be delivered once the body was found.
“He said he pushed Natalee Holloway, her head hit a rock,” Dietl said. He said the father was told the body was buried “near a construction site near their house.” But the information proved to be false, said the private investigator.
“He’s lied so much, we don’t know,” said Dietl, who has been working with Kelly on the Holloway case.
Van der Sloot was the last person seen with Holloway before she vanished during a high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island on May 30, 2005. He was arrested but has been released twice because of a lack of evidence.
He is being held in Peru in connection with the May 30 killing of 21-year-old business student Stephany Flores, the daughter of a Peruvian circus impresario and former race car driver. She was found beaten to death, her neck broken, in the 22-year-old Dutchman’s hotel room. Police said the two met playing poker at a casino.
Peru’s chief police spokesman, Col. Abel Gamarra, told The Associated Press on Monday that van der Sloot had confessed to killing Flores. A Dutch newspaper has quoted a family lawyer as saying the confession may have been coerced.
For five years, van der Sloot has remained the key suspect in Aruba for the disappearance of Holloway, an 18-year-old from Alabama.
Van der Sloot, who was a fixture on true crime shows and in tabloids after Holloway’s disappearance, crossed into Chile on Monday, roughly a day after leaving the Lima hotel. The day of his arrest in Chile, he was charged in the United States with trying to extort $250,000 from Holloway’s family.
The federal criminal complaint in that case, filed in Birmingham, Ala., alleged an arrangement to pay the money for disclosing the location of Holloway’s body. According to a sworn statement, van der Sloot got a partial payment of $15,000 wired to a Netherlands bank soon after, but the complaint does not say where the money came from.
The U.S. government’s involvement in the payment to van der Sloot was first reported by the New York Post. Law enforcement officials spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the murder investigation in Aruba is still under way. In Birmingham, Ala., FBI spokesman Paul Daymond and a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney’s office, Peggy Sanford, declined to comment.
i think urine will not tell anybody where natalie’s body is until he gets somethng for it. Like IMMUNITY from the US and Aruba. That’s the only thing he has left.
