  3. humbleopinion on 9 June 2010 at 15:29

Hi Chachi! Good to see you! I have no clue about her.
Anyone want to come over and pack the truck with us!

  4. chachi on 9 June 2010 at 15:37

Hi Humble, for Kyron to just go missing from school grounds is very odd. and I heard the step mom wanted to go to the gym to relieve some stress…crazy!

  5. debwv on 9 June 2010 at 16:01

Hello, folks! Just had supper, revved up my puter and…it appears no one is here at the moment. Well…I’ll just mosey over to the archives. There’s alot to learn!

Btw, I’ve reviewed over the Casey’s lies section. What has impressed me most is how she developed an entire world, the way an author develops a novel. It’s all so plausible, it’s as if she can’t tell the difference between fantasy and reality. There’s a big difference between that and “survival lying”, which is when a person says anything to stay out of trouble. Normal people do survival lying (such as when embellishing accomplishments during a job interview). What Casey is doing is truly a symptom of deep mental illness.

The question is, which came first, the murder or the deep mental illness? It could be argued that in order to kill, one must be seriously mentally disturbed. But history has many examples of people who killed when they were under duress, but not necessarily mentally ill. The act of killing a fellow human being is a very traumatic experience that is extremely difficult to recover from. In fact, one of the symptoms of severe mental illness is being able to kill without being affected.

Actually, a person doesn’t even have to kill to be negatively affected. Just witnessing death can be as profound as witnessing birth.

I’m sure I’m not offering any new insights here. Please be patient. I’m a newb. I just wonder, did Casey kill while under duress, and then crack under the stress afterwards? Or did she suffer from mental illness before she attacked her daughter?

    Looking forward to your responses…

  8. humbleopinion on 9 June 2010 at 20:15

Hi justanothermom!!! I am not sure she has a mental illness. I think Casey has lied so much in her life, that she thought she would get away with it! Of course LE, smarter than your average Cindy Anthony, saw through the lies and have found the truth. Of course as we all see, Cindy ‘claims’ to still believe the Nanny story, even if Casey had no job to pay or need a nanny. I also believe that Casey was very jealous of Caylee, which is another reason to kill. I have to say as I always do, Caylee spent alot of time in the trunk of that car. The trunk, I believe is the nanny and the babysitter for Caylee.

Nothing but a statement from the family. They do not want to be on TV snd distract. I haven’t seen the step mother so can’t get a feel for her actions.

Something isn’t right. Looking at that school on the video. How could he just disappear without anyone seeing him? Here where I live, when a child is absent,we get a recorded message, letting us know the child is not in school.

  13. humbleopinion on 9 June 2010 at 20:52

Deb, that school has some weird setup. Here we get a recorded message also. It seems very strange. Wonder why the family won’t go on tv and plea for him to come home!

  14. humbleopinion on 9 June 2010 at 20:53

OK, have to go…be back in the morning!

  15. Marsha on 9 June 2010 at 21:36

I don’t think WF has a mental illness. I think she’s just MEAN!

And, I think we are going to hear “the rest of the story” about Kyron. Something just isn’t right there.

Gosh, another missing child. It just never ends. You have to have a license to go fishing, but to be a parent, no requirements. Sad.

Casey Anthony case: Prosecutors argue jury should hear 911 calls

    By Anthony Colarossi, Orlando Sentinel
    11:00 p.m. EDT, June 9, 2010

Prosecutors in the Casey Anthony case filed a document Wednesday laying out arguments for letting jurors hear 911 calls made at the very start of the child murder case in July 2008.

Anthony’s legal team has argued that dozens of statements made by her friends and family amount to hearsay and should be kept out at her trial scheduled for next year.

But in Monday’s nine-page filing, Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick argues that the 911 calls made by Cindy Anthony, the defendant’s mother, should be heard. The prosecutor contends that the calls help show the progression of stories Casey Anthony told to explain the disappearance of her daughter Caylee Marie.

Anthony is charged with killing the 2-year-old, whose remains were found in woods in December 2008, months after her disappearance and the 911 calls.

Cindy Anthony’s first call to authorities on July 15, 2008, chiefly involved reporting her daughter for a stolen car.

The second call is longer and more detailed. During the call, Cindy Anthony tells a dispatcher the child has been missing for a month. And she says she wants Casey Anthony arrested for stealing the car and money.

By the third call, Cindy Anthony is crying. “I found out my granddaughter has been taken,” she tells the dispatcher. “She has been missing for a month. Her, her mother finally admitted that she’s been missing.”

Later in that call, she says, “There’s something wrong. I found my daughter’s car today and it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car.”

Still later in the call, Cindy Anthony says that her daughter admitted that the child had been taken by a nanny a month earlier.

The calls show how “the defendant ‘created’ the kidnapping story after denying there was any problem locating Caylee Marie Anthony,” Burdick states. “These fabrications demonstrate consciousness of guilt on the part of the defendant …”

Casey Anthony’s defense team earlier filed an extensive memo detailing arguments why the 911 calls and other statements should be excluded.

In one document, the defense noted the 911 statements should be excluded because they’re “testimonial.”

Because it is a capital case, “unreliable hearsay evidence must be excluded,” Anthony’s team argued.

In early May, Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. said he would rule on the hearsay issue later on in the case.

hearsay?.. sure… How can it be hearsay if you can hear it?

  19. debwv on 10 June 2010 at 06:08
  20. debwv on 10 June 2010 at 06:14

I don’t see how they can throw out the 911 calls. The 911 calls shows how the LE found about Caylee missing. Also it shows to me,while Casey was there,MAMA Cindy made the calls, not Casey! Casey wasn’t about to report her daughter missing!

  21. humbleopinion on 10 June 2010 at 06:19

    GM everyone! thanks Smoke!
Guess this will be another good hearing as the Judge will deny this too!
As for Cindy, she is a nurse and the statement, I found my daughters car today, it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car, will never go away and haunt them to the end.

Former detective: Parents’ silence not unheard of but not the norm

PORTLAND, Ore. – A retired Portland police detective said Wednesday the silence the parents of 7-year-old Kyron Horman have maintained after his disappearance isn’t unheard of but it’s not the norm either.

HEY ALL does anyone know where there is a link to cindy saying they think caylee is still alive, after she was wearing caylee’s ashes around her neck? I know that happened but I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks lol

  30. humbleopinion on 10 June 2010 at 09:23

Hi Brad, had to be after the memorial for Caylee, I mean the memorial for Cindy’s show. I will have to look later, busy with this house…..

Cindy Anthony’s Depo by Prosecution July 29, 2009

    Page 575 – 578

    Excerpt:

Q Okay. What do you think happened to Caylee?

A I have no idea. I have no idea. There’s no
cause of death. There’s no time of death. I don’t
know when she died. I don’t know how she died. I’m
still not certain that Caylee is dead. I’m still
getting tips on Caylee that she’s alive.

    Q O k a y .

A Mr. Baez can tell you that I’m still upset
the fact that they talk about 18 teeth that Caylee had.

    Caylee had 20 teeth.

    Q U h – h u h .

A And the report that I finally read a few
weeks ago says — they talk about 18 and accounting for
17 teeth that she had. Caylee had 20 teeth and I know
    that for a fact –

Thanks Smoke! Oh goodness. There is no help for this nurse impersonator. She needs some real help!

  33. caroly on 10 June 2010 at 12:00

Oh my Smoke. That link to the Orange County Clerk is goldmine that should keep me happy for hours. Thanks a million.

  34. caroly on 10 June 2010 at 12:06

Further to my last comment – if you look at the court activity and throw in the prosecutors’ time, LE’s time and now the defense experts’ time, the State of Florida is paying big time for this one very spoiled brat while Miss Cindy and Mr George go on luxury cruises while dinning the bank for their house payments. There is something very wrong with this picture.

  35. Molly on 10 June 2010 at 14:42

Thanks smoke for all that info. I hope they don’t keep delaying these hearings.

So, they only found 18 teeth instead of all 20!!!! what is her point?
At the very end of that very same depo she states she does not believe that the remains found in the woods were caylee. Oddly enough George states the very same thing at the end of his depo & also sock boy Lee! Yet Cindy had those remains immediately pulverized into ashes (never to be examined again) which she wears around her neck. Why wear some else’s ashes in your jewelry?

  36. caroly on 10 June 2010 at 16:09

They already have DNA don’t they? Where does Cindy think that data comes from? Junk science?

  37. maze on 10 June 2010 at 16:47

I do not know how those calls could be unreliable!!! they came from cindy.

  38. Suzie Jane on 10 June 2010 at 17:19

OMG Smoke left a link up yonder to Sindy’s depo. It is a must read. As in Humble should make it mandatory.

Let the jury read this rambling. She is completely out of her mind. The ranting and raving about getting her sewing machine out to alter WF’s seat covers and do the mending all at the same time and she just hasn’t had the time……….

My Lord. What a read, Smoke.

Makes Sindy “look like an ass on the thing”

  39. humbleopinion on 10 June 2010 at 17:47

Hi Molly, good question, what is her point about the teeth!

Caroly, they are spending big time on a liar brat child!

Maze, the truth is what they want thrown out, but will keep the lies!

Suzie… I read her depo and like Casey’s letters had a never ending headache!

Am I the only one who can’t get on wordpress???
