Of course, as you all know that when I email WFTV.com about something, I never get a response. Well my friend that uploads the documents to the docstoc site received an email in response to Cindy and George being on the defense’s witness list. In the email it states: “All of them are on the state’s list and the defense said they wanted all the same witnesses and then some.. They are on both witness lists”
So if I really wanted to analyze this, I would! But I am going to go with this: Everyone on the states witness list, is now on the defense’s witness list! I assume the reason for this is that the defense has no one but the Kronk Ax-wives and the few specialists. None of Casey’s friends would even stick up for her [should we all assume that they believe that Casey killed Caylee?]. Not sure if this can even happen, but I guess when your client has NO-FRIENDS, you have to try and take what you really can’t have!

Hi ya Lynda, I am not sure what the d-team is trying to pull, but I do not think they can have the states witness’. I believe there was one of Casey’s usetabe friend that said he would NOT be on the d-teams witness list!
Humble, this is getting weirder by the minute. How can a witness for the prosecution be a witness for the defense. It can’t work that way.

Thanks humble (and Smoke). I don’t understand this. But, will do some research and ask around. I didn’t know the defense could just list the entire prosecution’s witness list as their own. Obviously, the defense just never bothered to compile a witness list during this past two years.

Good morning early birds. I am totally surprised at this latest information about the witness lists. I’ll have to do a lot of googling to find out why this is allowed. Perhaps, I’ll ask Mr. Shaeffer. Don’t have a lot of time today. It’s Thursday = couple’s golf day. Hopefully, it won’t be as hot as last week. If some of you would like to do a little rain dance for me, it would be appreciated.
So funny. I just googled witness lists for defense and prosecution. And, guess what came up first? Why, it was my comment yesterday evening at 17:45. Sure surprised me. Wish I knew how google worked.
Chew on this. I interpret this to mean that the defense call call anyone on the prosecution’s witness list. How do you interpret it?
“The defense can call a prosecution witness whether the prosecution calls them to testify or not. The defense may subpoena anyone who can provide exculpatory evidence to appear and testify under oath, without exception.”

Also found out that the Judge will be asking for a witness list from both sides before the trial. So Bozo will have to get one ready at least the day before it is due….

I think I have finally worked out the defense strategy.
They do not have a real defense to
1. they subpoena all the prosecution witnesses
2. once the prosecution has finished their case the defense team calls all those on the prosecutions witness list that the prosecution did not call
3. they put those witnesses on the stand and ask to testify to anything they might have said during deposition that made the prosecution drop them as witnesses
4. the dense rests
5. they divvy up whatever dollars are unaccounted for from the original $320,000
6. they pat each other on the back for doing such a fine job and within Judge Perry’s guidlines too!!!!
7. they all go home
8. Casey, at the very least goes to jail for a long, long, long, long time
9. Cindy goes on TV and claims Baez did an incompetent job of defending Casey
10. George commits suicide
11. Lee and Mallory get married
12. Supreme Court agrees that Casey had inadequate counsel and demand a retrial
13. And Humble has to continue this blog for the next many years.
