Casey Anthony update 13 July 2010

13 July 2010 at 19:11
By

As we all know today was the beginning of the evidence viewing.  Dr Lee [video]  was there and Kathi Belich [video] asked if the Spectra case and the finger nail will cause problems for the Caylee vs. Casey case.  Of course he answers that he had been on many cases.  I feel that he has ruined his own reputation and I am sure that the prosecution if need be, will bring up his history.  I have lost all and any respect for the convenient loser!

Of course the tax payers are paying for Dr Lee and the Netherlands experts to fly on over to Florida.  How sad, guess Baez felt he needed them to help and get Casey off!  But in the mix, the prosecution and LE are in the little top secret room with the d-team experts, as they view the evidence.  Guess there is a reason, maybe TRUST isn’t what the d-team has going for them!

The defense team filed a objection into releasing the list of evidence they want to view.  Read the motion. We know the defense tries very hard to keep everything top secret.  Why?  Good question, maybe they want us all to think that they have some kind of defense, which we know they do not.

Where has our dear Mikka gone?

  4. Michelle (Not MFM!) on 13 July 2010 at 19:41

I come here every day a few times a day, to see what’s new and interesting. I don’t always post but I don’t miss a day!

Thursday can’t come soon enough! I wonder what Cindy and Lee are doing to prepare themselves.

  5. Michelle (Not MFM!) on 13 July 2010 at 19:43

I guess I I have to be added to the list of those No Life Bloggers Cindy talks so fondly of.

The Spector case HAS to be brought to light..

Quote “On May 23, 2007, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler, the judge in the Phil Spector murder trial, said that he had concluded Dr. Henry Lee hid or accidentally destroyed a piece of evidence from the scene of actress Lana Clarkson’s shooting”

oh, and on the ‘no life’ bloggers… most of us know an internet money scam when we see it..

Great “reading over your shoulders, Humble Friends!” I can hardly wait until Thursday, too…

Congrats Grandmother Humble! What a blessing…

Night all…Sweet Justice for Caylee dreams…

Is that Jim Jones or Dr Ree? I mean let the kool aid jokes fly right? Sheesh this man is nothing but a villain. He was on tv not too long ago LYING through his teeth about the smell in the pointiac possibly being “pizza, ham” etc. In other words he’ll do what he gets paid to do which is try to streeeeeeetch the truth out enough to give a reasonable doubt, not that it will help.

Also, who is in charge at the JAC who let this absolute filth of an attorney, Baez, bring in “experts” from freaking Holland?? What planet do we live on people?? Holland? Geez I’m sure there were no reliable experts in FL. As usual, it will blow up in their scheming faces.

Sorry I am just mad at this point. Seeing these “experts” come in and work AGAINST justice for Caylee makes my blood boil.

Anyone think Baez wants experts from Holland because they won’t be damaged much by lying in court??

Good point about the defense demanding everything be kept “top secret”! omg because we would never want the truth to get out would we?? Don’t worry Baez and Cheney, we WILL see the video of you and your unethical “experts” going over the evidence. You have your precious air-conditioned environment…what’s the excuse going to be this time? Lighting was bad? Couldn’t work in front of the Sheriff’s cameras?

  9. Halfspot on 14 July 2010 at 00:52

Hello all, Really nice post from all of you Good Peeps here at our Humble home!! As for all these experts?! (or for all the experts that lie cover-up, find stuff that was not there, or take the stuff away) Well I’m sure if one thinks about it, they all fit right in with the so called d-team. And lets not forget those bunch of  mistruth Ant. family!! I;m sure they will be welcomed with open arms!! With the Ant. being like they are, this kind of people are the only ones that will go around them!! So with that said no wonder poor little Caylee lost her life!! With all that has happened in this case, Cindy hoping that no one ever knows the truth about this  family of hers! And what C&G made, A KILLER!! The Ant. will go down with ship before she ever would say OMG look at what you did Casey!! With that said then just ask yourself how did Casey become a killer!? It was C&G that let Caylee be the poor little one in the middle of this mess! She was to little to be a part of the mess!! That Ant. family just used Caylee up tell she was killed by the one person that should have, gave her life for Caylee!! But noway Casey never knew how to really love anyone but herself thanks to C&G!! To me they should all be in jail!! Yes they still use Caylee even in death, how can one just forget about the reason that we are here and that is for Caylee!! But no not the Ant. family, they will not stand up for their own Grand Baby!! How very  that we the people that never knew this Baby, will yell and fight to the end for her!! God be with Caylee and may God be with us all here at Humble.

  10. Halfspot on 14 July 2010 at 00:59

Well I;m off to bed, as always Humble this is the very best place to be!! What Great Peeps that are here!! Stay  and have a great Day to all!! Also welcome to your new home Humble and so very  for you and all your family with the new Grand Baby on the way!!

  11. Halfspot on 14 July 2010 at 01:08

Just think what a good deal C&G have all the video and photo of Caylee! That they then sell for blood money!! And then look at all of us that have loving kids and grand babys to hold and keep giving us love and us loving them!! Now who has the best deal!!? No thanks Cindy!! Think we will keep what we all have and now thats the real DEAL!!

  12. Halfspot on 14 July 2010 at 01:15

Now with that said, I am off to bed for some sweet dreams that will fill my  up with love!! Off now to  Hugs and love to all! PS. Please some one let me know what time court is for the nuts on the 15th,BBL

Good morning all. Need coffee. Brain not in gear yet.

  15. smoke&mirrors on 14 July 2010 at 04:43

    Good Morning Everyone!

Geez, Atty. Mason sure was in a foul mood yesterday. Down right unprofessional, rude and nasty toward Kathi Belich. Caught on tape….

    http://www.wftv.com/video/24243769/index.html

Hope he’s in a better mood today!

  16. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 04:52

Something about Richard & Selma Eikelenboom bothers me. I can’t put my finger on it yet, but, there seems to be a familiar ring to them which reminds me of Ms. Lyon (our jump ship advocate who only worked to bring forth her moral principles regarding her objection to the death penalty–until the money ran out). Below is something I was reading regarding the Eikelenboom’s involvement in the Illinois Innocence Project. You might find it interesting. Warning it is long. I also want to find out where they went to school, and where they did their training. It would seem to me that the Netherlands would, based on their population, have a relatively small percentage of forensics to investigate compared to our population. Netherlands population 2009, 16,558,674 vs. USA 309,730,000.

  17. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 04:55

Hi Smoke. Can you imagine mr. high and mighty telling Kathi Belich, “I don’t want you asking questions”. Idiot. She’s a reporter. Reporters ask questions. And, in the case of Mrs. Belich, she asks the tough ones. What is wrong with the other reporters? What are they afraid of? Some of them look so young. They are most probably intimidated by mr. mason.

  18. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:03

Here is a synopsis of what the Eikelenboom’s “mission statement” is for the Illinois project. Sound familiar?

The Downstate Illinois Innocence Project (DIIP) conducts research and investigative activities for attorneys representing convicted inmates in cases where there is a strong likelihood that the individuals, even though convicted, are actually innocent.

The Project concentrates its efforts primarily on non-capital cases and on individuals who, without the assistance of the Project, are likely to remain wrongfully incarcerated for life or a substantial number of years.

The Project provides assistance using students, faculty, investigators, attorneys and others willing to work to exonerate these individuals.

  19. smoke&mirrors on 14 July 2010 at 05:05

    Hi Muesli,

ITA! Kathi B. is tenacious and she does ask the tough questions… seeking answers to questions we may have… getting right to the heart of the matter. Atty. Mason could have simply said, NO COMMENT.

To your point about the other reporters possibly being intimidated by him… it certainly appears that way. Of course, they may also fear pi$$ing off the Defense Team members which may prevent them from getting future interviews. IDK All I know is, a reporter’s job is to get the facts for a story and communicate it to the public. If the questions aren’t framed in a manner to get to the facts, then what good are they? “PUFF PIECES!”

    BBL

  20. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:10

The following C&P from the Illinois project of the Eikelenboom’s interests me. I am only doing this C&P to relieve you all of having to read the entire link. These are just some of the highlights which garnered my interest. I love the line about them leaving the case at any time, when they feel they can’t prove innocence, ala Ms. Lyon.

“The inmate must be seeking to establish his or her actual innocence of the crime(s) for which he or she is incarcerated. More specifically, we take those cases in which there appears to be a significant chance that substantial evidence can be found to prove one innocent. Further, once we have agreed to work on a case, we reserve the right to withdraw for any reason, including an inability to prove a claim of actual innocence.”

  21. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:14

Another thing. Why are the Eikelenboom’s not working in The Netherlands? Could it be that there is more money & fame to be made here. Nooooooo, that can’t possibly be!!!!!!!!!! By the way, do you all realize that the Eikelenbooms will have to pay income tax on monies earned in the US?

  22. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:16

In anthony speak, my GUT feeling is that the Eikelenbooms won’t be around for a long time. What do you think?

  23. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:21

My post at 04:52. Guess my brain really wasn’t in gear. I forgot to post the link. More coffee, please.

    http://www.uis.edu/innocenceproject/events/touchdna/seikelenboom.html

It’s worth reading what they have been up to in our country.

  24. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:23

I shall now look into their education and experience. I have some good Dutch friends. I’ll ask them if they know anyone in LE who can give us some info on these people, other than self promoting praises.

  25. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:28

So funny, I got a chuckle, for when I was googling Selma, the site brought me right back to Humble’s.

  26. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:33

Just a small blurb about Richard Eikelenboom. Note the last comment. Can you say “pro defense” boys and girls?

Richard Eikelenboom: Director of DNA at IFS and DNA scientist and bloodstain pattern analyst. Expert in trace recovery. He worked on many high profile cases in the Netherlands, like the Deventer murder case and the Schiedammer Park killing. In the US he was responsible for the DNA investigations that led to the release of both Tim Masters and Tim Kennedy, miscarriages of justice in the state of Colorado. He discusses the basics of DNA, some high profile cases and how DNA can be useful for the defense.

Humble, not only are the tax payers going to pay for a vacation to Florida for Selma and Dick, but I am thinking of joining the defense team to get a free European vacation. I’ll tell them I am looking for Zaneida and Caylee in the red light district in Amsterdam.

  32. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 05:50

Happened upon Blink’s site while googling these people. Could have saved myself a lot of time, as they had lots of info on them. Oh, well. I thought I was being so cleaver with my sleuthing. :ninja:

  34. Justme66 on 14 July 2010 at 06:01

Good morning all of my fellow Humblers… Just wanted to drop in and say I’VE MISSED YOU ALL!! Once again, I can’t stay long…. It’s going to be a busy day… I have to find hotel rooms for ten 16 year old boys…. Finding the hotel will be fairly easy, I HOPE… But finding one where we can get them all in a cluster, and keep them all out of trouble will be the biggest problem… They’re good boys, but they’re 16 year olds with raging hormones, away from the parents for a few nights… Trust me, I’ve been down this road before with my oldest son and his basketball team… It’s not fun…. *LOL*

I’m still behind on the case, of course… I’m hoping to be able to TAKE the time to watch the hearing tomorrow… It seems it will be a very interesting day…. I hope Kathi Belich is on her toes… Mason sure looked PO’ed in that video… I laughed really loud… Someone needs to give him a grumpy pill…. Poor thing… He’s all stressed out…. WTH did he think it was going to be??? FUN????

  35. Justme66 on 14 July 2010 at 06:02

BTW, Humble you have mail…

  36. CT•j4C on 14 July 2010 at 06:38

Can’t wait to see Chomp head and Tube sock boy on the stand – let’s see how they squiggle and squirm while questioned. Bozo needs to give it up already – she’s guilty, what a waste of time.

Hey mikka. Great to see you. Have missed you. Can you imagine she has spent $2,200 already on her commissary account (mostly from her parents)? They can’t pay their mortgage because casey’s whims are more important to them. They are slaves to this woman. What, oh what does this woman hold over her parent’s heads?

  39. CT•j4C on 14 July 2010 at 07:24

She has spent so much $ on herself and she is totally lovin it. She loves to spend others money – as we all know. Hi Mikka <3 Hi Muesli

  40. Carol on 14 July 2010 at 08:32

Good Morning Humble and All! MIKKA!! Geez, we were ready to send out a search party for you!
(clearing throat)…ONE MORE DAY TO GO!!!!! :w00t:
Muesli, thanks for sleuthing for us. So, are Dick and Selma Echoboom part of the Lyon club from Ill? Sure looks like it. Hmmm. What’s wrong with that picuture?
Can some one tell me what they are doing ‘looking’ at the evidence? Does Lee and the Echoboom’s have some mini labs in their suitcases that they were dragging in there? Are they retesting stuff? Where is LKB? She is good old friends with Lee. I hope she quit too.

  41. muesli on 14 July 2010 at 08:53

Hey Carol and CT. I have things to do, so will leave for now. I am still trying to find out if the decomposition odor is still in the trunk of the car. Anyone know for sure? I have tried googling how long the odor lingers, but just come across so many technical descriptions, and no length of time.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s hearing, but I am afraid cindy will let us down. They are certainly aware of the critisisam she receives. I’m sure brad conway will have prepped her for her appearance. Unfortunately, I have 8 for dinner tomorrow evening, so I’ll be preparing my hors d’oeuvres with my laptop on the kitchen counter. Good luck to my guests. Talk about multi-tasking.

Casey’s Defense Wants More Testing On Evidence

    Posted: 8:30 am EDT July 14, 2010
    Updated: 1:51 pm EDT July 14, 2010

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Casey Anthony’s defense team was back at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday continuing to examine evidence. Defense experts started looking over the evidence on Tuesday and Casey’s lawyer said the experts found things investigators missed.

    JOSE BAEZ: Interview With WFTV
    VIDEO REPORT: Evidence Examining Continues

The defense team claims it made some new discoveries and they want more testing.
“I’ll answer your questions. Let them go in and check in,” defense attorney Jose Baez said.

Baez ran interference Wednesday for other members of his team after WFTV asked them some tough questions a day earlier about defense expert Dr. Henry Lee; a California judge criticized Lee for mishandling key prosecution evidence in the Phil Spector murder case, which resulted in evidence disappearing.

The evidence they’ve chosen to look at in the Casey Anthony case was divided into three bays at the Orange County sheriff’s headquarters, including evidence from Casey’s car, which her own parents described as smelling like a dead body and where investigators found one of Caylee Anthony’s hairs they say came from her dead body.

Another bay holds the evidence investigators found in the Anthonys’ home, including duct tape and heart stickers that matched evidence found in the nearby woods where Caylee’s remains were found. A third bay holds evidence found at the scene where Caylee’s remains were discovered.

The defense claims they’ve made some discoveries. More>>>

    GOOD AFTERNOON ALL,

after reading dr glasses article,,I do believe they have nothing and I realy believe they are just spinning the wheels here.

  71. glen on 14 July 2010 at 11:54

smoke…they found new evidence or placed new evidence….

  72. smoke&mirrors on 14 July 2010 at 11:58

    Hi glen,

I was just watching the video. No new evidence found. However, the next step in the process will be to make a motion to request testing of some items. Baez made a point of saying things look better in person versus looking at a pic. He alluded to finding some things that may have been missed.

  73. smoke&mirrors on 14 July 2010 at 12:00

BTW glen, that statement about things that may have been missed is called “placing” doubt in the mind of potential jurors. And he was smiling the whole time he was being interviewed. What a weasel!

  74. chachi on 14 July 2010 at 12:02

Smoke, if Sindy act’s up tomorrow, can they treat her as a hostile witness or is that only when there’s a jury?

  75. Carol on 14 July 2010 at 12:06

Thanks Smoke. MORE testing?! How does NO sound?! Can you hear me NOW Mason?! I am so sick of this stalling crap, I could just scream.
Hi Patsy and glen. Maybe some one should just wake me up tomorrow on Christmas. The next thing those a** wipes are going to tell us is that the hearing is postponed! Hey, I don’t care if they find Jimmy Hoffa in that evidence, just bring on the fricking hearing and no more stalling!!

  76. smoke&mirrors on 14 July 2010 at 12:07

    Hi chachi,

As far as I know, declaring someone as a hostile witness would be done at trial. Doing so would allow the Prosecution to ask leading questions in order to get their questions answered.

Although Cindy, George & Lee have “Use Immunity,” if they lie under oath (based on other testimony given under oath in this criminal case) they can be found in contempt of court. This could mean sanctions – either fines and/or jail time.

caylee’s last moments was so sad. I remember when they found Caylee’s remains and released the picture of that book in the woods with her, it sent a shiver down my spine.

  107. mikka on 14 July 2010 at 14:23

    HAHAHHAHAHA
    kathie behlichs boss

Mason, an attorney for Casey Anthony, ripped the persistent Belich by saying, “I’m worried about you always bothering me.” He called her questions “too stupid.” Mason said he’d have to talk to Belich’s boss if she didn’t back up and leave him alone.

And that’s not all. Mason called her boss “stupid.” When Belich said she had obviously struck a nerve, Mason replied, “You are a nerve.”

So what does Belich’s boss have to say?

“I don’t know what all the hubbub is about,” WFTV news director Bob Jordan said. “Kathi was polite. Her questions were relevant and on point. His demeanor speaks for itself — as does Kathi’s.”

What about Mason’s complaint that Belich is bothering him?

“Kathi personifies the traits I look for in a dogged reporter,” Jordan said. “She’s not intimidated. She’s professional, polite.”

And what of Mason’s threat that he’d talk to Belich’s boss?

“Put my number in the paper. He can call me,” Jordan said.

His number is 407-822-8300, and Jordan said he would settle for the web.

be back tomorrow for the hearing friends!
