According to WESH.com. Brad Conway has quit the Anthony’s. It is said he quit due to a motion filed against TES with lies about Conway in it. Resignation letter
In the d-teams motion it claims Conway was given unrestricted access to review 4,000 pages of volunteer documents while the defense has not been given the same access.
It has been confirmed, but Conway will be on the “TODAY” show, go figure maybe licensing fees, this morning.
It has to be a very sad day for the A’s, as they will not have anyone more dedicated to them. Conway has been behind them, back their nuttiness, sat through their lies, and had to deal with these lunatics, and I suspect even lied for them.
Why do these people need to go on national tv to announce this stuff? I guess we know that Baez is unable to quit the d-team due to a new law: bans judges from appointing attorneys where an indigent client has already retained and paid a lawyer. The idea is to prevent a private attorney from pulling out once a client’s money runs out. So looks like Baez will be in it until the end!
Wasn’t it sweet of Conway to wait until after the Anthony’s made more licensing fees last week to announce he resigned?!?!?
Isn’t it amazing, Humble, that almost never a day goes by without some happening in this case. Usually we are not treated to anything new on a Monday morning. It is sort of like eating dessert before dinner (which I have been know to do). As much as I hate to do it, I will let the tv run so that I can watch Mr. Conway, and report back here. I have the time this morning. I don’t normally watch these wimpy morning shows, but I will sacrifice for you all.
I am wondering who they think they can get, now? Maybe Conway will write a book!

Can you all imagine, another fatality in this case. Just add Brad Conway, who has put his own reputation on the line for these people. I would never hire someone like him, as he showed lack of backbone in dealing with the Anthonys. I would want a strong lawyer, such as Mr. NeJame or Mr. Shaeffer, or even, dare I say it, Mr. Hornsby.

Nothing new in that interview. Mr. Conway is blaming the defense’s filing for his departure. Of course, we will find out more on this. Seems like Mr. Biaz is not well liked by any attorney’s, the Anthonys, and of course, most importantly, US. I believe Mr. Biaz has maneuvered himself just a little too close to the precipice this time.

Mr. Conway stated that he in no way received any special previleges which were also extended to the defense. He stated he was allowed to view the TES files, tag what he thought was important, was not allowed to take notes or make copies, just as Judge Perry ordered that the defense was to do. Only, defense didn’t do it, and hasn’t done it for the past 8 months. As a matter of fact, they only spent a couple of wasted hours at Mr. NeJame’s office going through files. They know it is a waste of time, and just finally went for show. It is now time for a “cameo” from Mr. Biaz. This war of the attorneys is going to be very, very interesting. I wonder what Judge Perry’s take is on all of this, and how he is going to handle it. Mr. Leneman (sp) was the only one who was right on in this case, and Mr. Biaz let him go, because Mr. Biaz knew he was right that they should take a plea (Lenemon knew Casey was guilty), and Mr. Biaz just wanted his big chance at stardom.

The interviewer tried to get Mr. Conway to express his opinion of Mr. Biaz, which Mr. Conway avoided, as he should have. They all have to be careful of accusing each other publicly. Of course, Mr. Biaz hasn’t learned this yet, and it is going to come crashing down on his head. I’m sure the youtube video of today’s Today show will be up shortly. If I see it, I will post it. In a way, I feel sorry for Mr. Conway, until he makes that silly statement that “still supports George & Cindy Anthony”. Conway said that’s not the case, the defense never spoke to him before filing the motion and now he could potentially be called as a witness by Texas Equusearch’s attorney if the judge holds a hearing on the Texas Equusearch paperwork.

Sorry, mikka. I thought I remembered it was a diving accident. A broken neck is also common in a surfing accident. It’s such a sad thing to happen to a young person. Maybe someday they will find a way to fix these horrid disabilities.
