Lets see! Not much happened this week. Brad Conway quit the Anthony’s. He claims it is due to a motion written by the defense team. He went on national tv to let the whole world know.
It is said he quit due to a motion filed against TES with lies about Conway in it. Resignation letter
In the d-teams motion it claims Conway was given unrestricted access to review 4,000 pages of volunteer documents while the defense has not been given the same access. Read the motion
The defense sideshow was nothing to really talk about. Ignorance comes to mind right off the bat! The news conference was really, again a waste of time, but they like their little dog and pony show. Baez thinks he is this wonderful attorney who will be getting the murder off, but in reality, if it would just strike him, he will find out the out come will be different. Moe and Curly Video

Well, here it is, Monday morning. I wish you all a good start to the week. My, as the Anthonys would say, “gut feeling”, is this will be George’s turn to take the limelight. Don’t know why I feel this way. Perhaps he will purchase another six pack (although for Caylee’s 2nd birthday party, Casey had to beg Lee to purchase beer, as they didn’t have any, and I guess George either didn’t have any money for beer, or was just too cheap), pack up a couple of blood pressure pills and leave a note titled: “Goodbye Cruel World”, which he will have copy write protected, and sell to NBC.

Good morning, Humble. D. Casey – another same name in this case. Isn’t it weird? I was awake during the middle of the night (as usual), and turned on Geraldo. I watched the whole show. Why? Well, just a kind of morbid fascination. He was so unprepared, asked such stupid, stumbling over his words questions, that I was totally embarrassed for him. He was pitiful. He was stating things incorrectly, seemed to forget which questions he was asking, changed the question to guests in the middle of asking the first one, leading the guests to answers, etc., etc.. Don’t know how or why this nobody has a show. Just the Saturday and Sunday night spots say a lot for how important he is. I think they just keep him because of his ethnicity, to appeal to a certain culture, who probably doesn’t watch Fox news. Seems like he doesn’t dare mention the Caylee Anthony case.
Muesli, this whole case is very weird. Casey dated guys with the first name of Anthony, Cindy was all about Dom Casey. If she were falling for Dum Casey and dumped Geo, would she take the name Cindy Casey? Would Casey take the name Casey Casey?
Geraldo, loser all the way. Never liked him, even before this case. Less impressed when I found out he was a friend of Blowzo. Funny, he never had a problem mentioning the Casey case at the beginning of this whole mess!

No Muesli, you don’t have to! I hadn’t listened to that site in a while. when I did, low and behold they had that infamous blogger who got the Judge to remove himself from the Caylee vs. Casey case.
We have a storm here (finally rain), and I keep getting thrown off the internet. Anyway, it is well worth listening to Brad Conway. He was pretty much straight forward, skirted around a few things, but it was easy to read a lot into some of his somewhat veiled statements. For instance, when asked how he told the A’s he was leaving them. Brad said it was rather matter of fact. Of course, the A’s were not happy about it. Some good questions came in on the phone from as far away as Australia. Guess there is a group down there following the case. If you have the time, I really suggest you listen to Brad. Brad did say that he was losing money. Brad ended the discussion saying his goal now is to get his business on track, and getting his life on track, going fishing. He said he needs to go to the beach. It was a rather pleasant discussion, and Brad was allowed to finish expressing his thoughts without a silly panel of nobodies interrupting. That was a nice change from some other of these blog radio shows.

Yes, Humble, I got the impression that a ton of weight has been taken off of Brad Conway’s shoulders. I did know that he has been practicing for 18 years. He said he had to reduce his case load because of representing the Anthonys pro bono. I might be wrong, but he seems to come across as an honorable man.
Apparently he was running to be a judge way back when. I think he was honorable, I think that has all gone out the window lying for the A’s! I also believe maybe he figured out that leaving would help him, but he has to repair his bad rep.
I will be interested to see if Brad shows up to support the Anthonys at the next hearing. I can’t remember correctly the words he used, but when he said he would still be supporting them, he mentioned the word morally. That does not mean physically.
I can’t believe he didn’t quit after the depositions with Morgan and Morgan! Cindy and George were both ARSES in that made for tv deposition!
It doesn’t mean physically. I am sure the lies and the going to court was stressful on him. NOTICE he was pretty much done after Cindy made her début on the stand, “I believe Caylee is alive!” I am thinking Brad is no dummy!
I also have a feeling he knows that C&G could be arrested after the big trial. Heck I think they will! They have no defense…it has been all over the tv for the past 2+ years~!
Humble, I hope they behave the same way at the trial. It is going to be a long, and sometimes boring trial, and they will give us a little comical relief. Did you know that G&C will have to be sequestered outside the courtroom during the trial, until it is their turn to testify? That way, they can’t hear what each other have said and try to cheat with their answers. Now, why would I even think that G&C would ever do something underhanded like that?
Muesli, yea I knew that. I also do not think they can be in the courtroom until after they have done their little lying on the stand. Of course, I hope Cindy gets hounded!
I’m just going over some of the notes I took of last night’s broadcast. Watts asked Brad: “Do you see this case going to trial?” Brad’s answer: “That window to negotiate a plea bargan is closed.” Next, Watts asked Brad: “Do you see JOSE BIAZ bringing this to trial?” Brad just laughed out loud, and took the high road to not answer that question. Mr. Watts said he is still surprised Mr. Biaz is still on the case. Brad Conway then said: “Biaz doesn’t worry me one bit. Mason is a well qualified lawyer, and I expect him to take the lead.” Anyway, as I said, it is worth listening to.

The interview also convinced me that Bozo is a complete moron….which was my already view of him.

hvf, yes, that question from Australia was a good one. Actually, the caller was asking it on behalf of Val Hal. Her question was: “Who told him (Brad) that there was no duct tape on Caylee’s skull?” Brad sort of squirmed out of that one saying all the facts regarding the duct were not or have not been firmly established. This was one of the questions he kind of dodged, saying it was his understanding that the duct tape was only attached to the hair. The Australian woman reminded Brad that Dr. Garaveglia reported that the duct tape held the mandible in place by being attached to the hair. Go Australia.

They brought up how casey had a dr of abuse visit her one time for about three hours…. and now, they are bringing in another dr. of psychological issues !!!!!! Humble, you are right. There are psych evaluations under seal from two years ago. Here is some information on the two doctors who conducted psych evaluations on Casey prior to her release from jail (home confinement) the first time:
Dr. Jeffrey A Danziger – He has been with the FL Clinical Research Center since 2004 as a Sub-Investigator and Principal Investigator. Practicing Psychiatry since 1983. He is board Certified in Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry and Addictions. At the 7/22/08 Bond Hearing, Judge Strickland order a psychological evaluation (with Baker Act criteria) to be performed on Casey. Dr. Danziger is one of two Psychiatrists who will conduct the evaluation.
Dr. Alan S. Berns – practices addiction psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and psychiatry in Lake Mary, Florida. Dr. Berns graduated with an MD 27 years ago. At the 7/22/08 Bond Hearing, Judge Strickland order a psychological evaluation (with Baker Act criteria) to be performed on Casey. Dr. Berns is one of two Psychiatrists who will conduct the evaluation.
I doubt seriously Casey would have been released on home confinement had the results of the psych evaluations shown her to be suicidal or homicidal. I think the “window of opportunity has closed” in terms of using any kind of insanity as a defense strategy, so maybe the Defense is working on the post conviction phase now. You think?
