Well Judge, I have had months to do this, but now that the time is crunching in, I am afraid the state is adding more witness’ to the list, and we have waited until the end to interview and depose all of them…but the state needs to hand this info over as soon as they get it. So with my waiting to the last minutes to get these done, the state needs to stop!
Bozo STARTED off with the whining and crying due to their lack of experience. Made a point to mention to the Judge that it has been 2 years since this started. He failed to mention he WASN’T and still isn’t doing his job or pulling the load. Nor did he mention that he had other trials to attend to and he PUT this trial on the back burner! The Judge said this case will go to trial!
The d-team expects the evidence to be looked at and examined by his so called experts by 31 October 2010.
The Judge said once this trial starts they will be working 6 days a week. The trial will start at 8:40 am daily. Saturdays they will work form 9-1:30.
The d-team is going to QUESTION 35 witness’s on 3 September. They are going to be in and out. The state is not happy, but do you blame them? Bozo wouldn’t be happy if this was the state doing this to him. If they can’t come up with something, the Judge will set them up! Defense witness list
Erika Gonzalez…claims to have heard Caylee in the background of a call on 15 July 2008. Yea, I want to see the records for that call. BUT if the call happened, she didn’t hear Caylee. There is no way!
May 9th 2011, is the day they start the jury selection. The opening statements will start on the 16th of May 2011.
Judge set the deadlines, then you will abide by those deadlines. This case is going to trial on the set date!

Wow, I really enjoyed watching Judge Perry slap Mr. Biaz around. Loved his implication that Mr. Biaz is disorganized. Also, the color puzzle was a riot. I think Mr. Aston got a kick out of it. Didn’t you love it when Mr. Biaz tried to give his “color” coded deposition status to Judge Perry, and mentioned that it was his work sheet, so there was some work product on it? What an idiot. Right away, Judge Perry said, “well, in that case, I don’t want to see it”. Then Mr. Biaz took it from him and crossed out his notes on the sheets. This is Mr. Biaz not being prepared for court, and not realizing that he cannot show the judge his work product. If Judge Perry did see that, he might have had to recuse himself for knowing inside information. I have to watch this whole hearing again this evening. It was really interesting. Unfortunately, I had workmen here who needed my input, so I did miss a lot of it.

I think Baez is now panicking. I really think he has been looking at the case as a game and a PR bonanza for him. I have never got the impression that Casey and giving her a fair trial was his number one priority. The whole time Strickland was the judge he got away with delay delay delay and bash the prosecution, blame the prosecution. His motions always seem long on I want and short on the law. Now he has two months to depose everyone, his house in foreclosure, he is acting probono for Casey and no longer has time to handle other cases which would bring in income and he is desperate. His firm does not seem big enough to handle this case and his knowledge is insufficient. He has lost so many co-counsel that he has to handle almost everything except the forensic witnesses himself – Kenny Baden probably has a good handle on those. Cheney Mason is involved in that big corporate lawsuit now so probably does not have as much time for Casey. I just have this enormous fear that there will be retrial ordered for insufficient representation by counsel.
Maybe Joy is in seclusion while writing her book.. It was supposed to be finished by last February…
And maybe Baez thought Caylee would not be found and the trial would be over and Casey would be acquitted and he would be rich and famous – like Joy?????
They all thought she wouldn’t be found.. The thought of WF runnin free and all the others being rich makes me sick.. nite nite

Erica Gonzalez stated in her police interview that she “heard Casey tell Caylee to be quiet (or something) BUT SHE NEVER HEARD CAYLEES’ VOICE during the call.” Erica is not looking for her 15 mins of fame and/or $ to buy drugs, she was misquoted.
Good morning all. I’m sitting in the dentist’s office. My husband is having one of those la la land deep cleanings, so I have to drive him home in about 1.5 hrs. Lucky they have WiFi. I’m waiting for the link for yesterday’s hearing to be released. I’d like to watch it again. Wished we could have been flies on the walls yesterday at the scheduling meeting with Nejame and Biaz going after each other. What on earth was Mr. Biaz doing for the past 2 years. Sure wish Judge Perry would ask him what he accomplished in the 1 year and what he accomplished in the 2 year. On thing I know is that if I was on the jury, I would have to have a note passed to the judge saying I cannot understand Mr. Mason. I actually could not understand half of what he mumbled yesterday. Does he do this on purpose to get people to pay more attention to him. I know that is a ploy of some people to speak in almost a whisper, so every one listens more intently.
morning everyone…anyone notice on the amended defense witness list on page 03/05 that Bozo listed an unknown female searcher (its the second to the last name appearing on that page)…how do you list a witness that has no name….is he waiting to get one once he goes thru TES documents…WTH is that about…didnt get to see the hearing and cant find anything yet on it but want to thank everyone for comments…only 8 more months and the gala of events will begin but I am sure that we will still have much to talk about because Bozo and Sindy cant seem to keep their flaps shut…loved your headline Humble…the crap will keep flowing im sure…gives us something to digest and dissect

morning Muesli….Bozo will never get done with his depositions if he has to find a name to fill in the blank…hehe….but first has to go thru 4,000 names to find her…after the unknown female searcher it states to be provided…how did he turn this list over to the court with that on it…I swear…you have to watch EVERYTHING that man files…unbelievable

MeMa52, wasn’t that color coded chart a riot. Mr. Biaz looked like a fool when he showed it to Judge Perry. He acted like a pleased little school boy. There wasn’t even a key to figure out his coding system. I was afraid he was going to run out of colors. Wouldn’t have put it past him to use black over the times.

MeMa52, I have been constantly looking for the video from yesterday’s hearing. If I find it, I’ll post it. Yes, I saw Bee Knees post, and I just laughed out loud, it was so perfectly funny. Someone noted that Jeff Aston just stood there holding the chart and didn’t take any notes to “decode” the chart. I was truly embarrassed for Biaz. It looked, and he acted so unprofessional. I’m going to go outside for a smoke. Don’t think the dentist would like it if I lit up in here. Plus, it’s freezing in here, so I can warm up outside.
