I just read the CNN news re Shaniya Davis and am sick. What is going on in this country with all of these innocent children being taken and murdered? It seems like there is an epidemic going on. Something must be done to stop all of this tragedy. Where are our representatives on Capitol Hill? We need some new regulations to take care of this epidemic.
I am wondering if her father ever checked on her after she was given back to he so called *mom. I’m sure she must have bonded with her dad and aunt.How could they give her back? This is too sad.

Andrew Koenig, the son of Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, is missing. The last time Andrew
Koenig was seen was on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Andrew Koenig never boarded his flight back to the US, and he hasn’t heard from since then.
He was last seen at a bakery in the Stanley Park area of Vancouver.
Andrew Koenig, 41, was working as a camera operator on the show “Never Not Funny” as well

SAN DIEGO — Authorities say a registered sex offender has been arrested in the disappearance of a missing suburban San Diego teenager.
San Diego County Sheriff William Gore tells The Associated Press that 30-year-old John Albert Gardner of Riverside County was arrested Sunday afternoon. He says investigators suspect Gardner is tied to the disappearance of 17-year-old Chelsea King of Poway, who went for a run on Thursday and didn’t return.
Gore says investigators linked Gardner to the crime through physical evidence recovered by investigators searching Rancho Bernardo Community Park, where King vanished. He wouldn’t elaborate on the evidence.

Suspects car found in Amber Alert case for Aja Johnson of Oklahoma

GERONIMO, OK (KCBD) – New developments in the search for a 7-year-old girl from Geronimo, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma authorities believe they have found the suspect vehicle Aja Johnson was last seen in. The car was found at Lake Thunderbird, which is a rural area near Norman.
Right now, Jessica Brown with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation said there are two bodies that have been found in and near the vehicle.
An Amber Alert was issued for Johnson after she and her step-father, Lester Hobbs, went missing in January. Authorities believed Hobbs killed Johnson’s mother then kidnapped the little girl.
They were once thought to be headed to south Texas.
Tonya Hobbs filed a protective order against Hobbs just months before she was murdered. The documents indicate that Lester Hobbs threatened to kill her children with a hammer. It now appears Lester used a hammer to kill Tonya.

GREELEY, Colo. — Four days after a 12-year-old northern Colorado girl disappeared after leaving home to walk to a friend’s birthday party, authorities expanded their search Thursday to include places she was known to frequent, including a music store, library and shopping mall.
“We’re hoping against hope that she’s out there, she’s safe and she is just a runaway,” said Sgt. Joe Tymkowych of the police department in Greeley, about 60 miles north of Denver. “But we have to try to figure all the possible propensities of things that could happen and pursue those leads as well.”

Nadia Bloom was last seen riding her bike through the Barrington Estates subdivision. Her bike has been located.
Bloom is 5 feet tall, weighing 85 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an orange shirt with blue shorts, and was possibly carrying a black horse backpack.

Winter Springs Police Look For 11-Year-Old In Wooded Area

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — Winter Springs police continue to search for an 11-year-old girl, who was reported missing at 4:20 p.m. Friday.
Nadia Bloom was last seen in the Barrington Estates subdivision near state Roads 434 and 417. Local 6 News helicopter Sky 6 captured video of police vehicles scouring a wooded area with spotlights as late as 11 p.m. Friday.
A Seminole County sheriff’s helicopter with infrared technology, as well as K-9 units, were involved in the search. Police were also conducting a “grid search” of the woods to try and find Bloom.
Police told Local 6 the search is focused on the wooded area, because Bloom’s bicycle was discovered at the end of a cul-de-sac on her street. Police said on Friday that foul play was not suspected. Police said Bloom may have gone to play or hide in the wooded area.
Bloom’s mother called police after she noticed her daughter was missing. The child’s grandfather spoke with Local 6 late Friday, and said the family is holding out hope.
Police described Bloom as white, about 5 feet tall and 85 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt and blue shorts. She was carrying a black backpack with a horse on it.
Police said the girl has autism and does not have her required medication with her now.
After news of the search aired, George and Cindy Anthony arrived at the scene. The parents of Casey Anthony told Local 6 they wanted to go talk to Bloom’s parents, and then planned to leave.

UPDATE: Reports are coming in that a body was found in a ditch earlier this morning about one mile away from where Kayleah went missing. We are waiting for a positive ID on the body from investigators. Stay tuned…
The award to find Kayleah Wilson is up to $20,000. Investigators haven’t given up hope, but there have not been any signs of the missing teen. Dave Joly with the Denver FBI told me two credible witnesses reported seeing Kayleah around 4:15 p.m. on March 28, 2010. That was the last time she was ever seen.
Since then, the FBI has scaled back their efforts and 52 volunteer searchers showed up over the weekend to comb the blocks Kayleah was last seen walking in. Unfortunately, the rain hindered their plans to continue searching.
Early on, Joly says agents did a search of Kayleah’s mother’s home. “We did a forensic search of the house, went into the home with the consent of the homeowner – we collected DNA samples we felt were Kayleah’s and collected DNA samples from everyone in the residence.”
Kayleah was walking to a birthday party around 3:40 p.m. when she vanished. Although the walk was fairly short, only 10 blocks, she never made it. Angela Marie Aiton lost custody of her daughter in March as a result of a court-ordered mental health evaluation. She is suspected of kidnapping 4-year-old Symphony Aiton from a Fashion Island restaurant during a supervised visit on Friday, Newport Beach police Lt. Craig Fox said.
The girl’s court-appointed foster father brought her to the restaurant for a supervised visit. Her mother asked to take her to the bathroom, but she never returned to the table, Fox said.
Symphony Aiton is described as a 40-pound girl, white, with curly black hair and blue eyes. She was last seen in a jacket with a leopard print collar, pink shirt, pink skirt, pink leggings and pink sandals.
Angela Aiton is described as a 34-year-old white woman, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Aiton has also been driving a silver 2004 Porsche Cayenne sport utility vehicle with license plate 5CPB144, Schuster said, but she was last seen in the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police told Local 6 they are looking for 3-year-old Meliek Jay Simmons, who was last seen with his uncle Calvin Reed Sr. on Saturday.
They were last seen leaving their residence at 4200 Cynthia St. in Orlando around noon Saturday.
Police said Reed has taken Meliek with him in the past, but they have never been gone for this long.

Missing SC Boy Buried In Concrete; Dad Arrested
2-Year-Old Found Buried Under 400 Pounds Of Concrete
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (AP) ― As the fruitless search was on for a missing 2-year-old boy with an infectious smile, authorities believe that all along he was buried under 400 pounds of concrete in a trash can.
The boy’s father and his girlfriend were arrested Thursday, two days after the couple concocted a story about the boy falling into the Charleston Harbor near a popular tourist destination, authorities said.
On Wednesday, human remains were found that matched the description of the boy the couple had given. The body was wrapped in 32-gallon trash bags encased in concrete in a bin so heavy a farmer had to hoist it onto a county vehicle using a backhoe.
Authorities are awaiting DNA to confirm that it is Rodricus Williams, but they left little doubt they believe it is by charging Roger Williams and Grace Nichole Trotman with homicide by child abuse. More>>>

Amber Alert: Missing Fair Oaks 3-year-old in pink car

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Sacramento County Sheriff’s officials have issued an Amber Alert for a missing Hispanic 3-year-old girl from Fair Oaks, Calif., with brown hair and brown eyes who was abducted in a 1990s or older model pink Lincoln Continental. The license plate number is 3JST733.
Officials believe Leon Cuahutemoc, 27, took the girl at gunpoint. He is described as being Hispanic, 5 foot 4 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, according to a California Highway Patrol spokesman. Cuahutemoc is believed to be armed and dangerous.
There is no clothing description for the girl or Cuahutemoc.
CHP is also reporting that there is an adult female in the car.
The relationship among the three passengers is unknown at this time.
Those with information should call 911.

FLORENCE, Ore. — Searchers were scouring the forest, brush, creek, ocean and beach in and around an Oregon Coast campground after a five-year-old boy vanished late Wednesday night.

Five-year-old Isaak Glenn, from Veneta, was playing with other children near his campsite in the Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park when he vanished.
Friends and family searched for the boy for about a half hour and then called police after they failed to find any sign of him.
Washburne Memorial State Park is located on the east side of Highway 101, just north of Florence and Highway 126. A short trail leads to the beach and a creek also runs through the park.
Isaak is 3’6″ tall, weighs around 42 pounds, and he has red hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, gray shorts and flip-flops.
Police saiad [sic] his parents were notified and drove from their home in Veneta to the state park to help.
