Gabriel was abducted by his mother on December 27, 2009. Gabriel’s mother was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida for Custodial Interference on December 30, 2009. At the time of the abduction, she was driving a white 1995 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with Arizona license plates AGZ4214. The vehicle has since been located in San Antonio, Texas but the child is still missing

Elizabeth Johnson was officially charged with kidnapping, child abuse, custodial interference and conspiracy to commit custodial interference

I’m Travis Warford, Jack Smith’s son-in-law. He and Tammi wanted me to sign adoption papers for Hannah, my daughter, but when I refused they sold their house and moved to Az where they falsified docs to adopt her there. We were in court about it when my work required I leave the state, returning to news they’d sold their home and moved west. He offered me money, time and again. which I refused. Hannah Grace is my daughter, I have pics of my wedding to her mother and can name those present. Jack Smith is a liar. I can prove it thru court records. He probably paid Elizabeth off.     I don`t see how that works. She said, I don`t want to trash Logan, and then she spent two minutes trashing Logan. She said in that same posting, we don`t want to be part of — we don`t want to be in the middle of this.

    Well, it`s two weeks later. They`re not only in the middle of it but they keep coming up with new information that they seem to have forgotten to tell this person, that person, or the other person, and they`re begging to be polygraphed by law enforcement.

    I don`t understand why the Smiths are still involved in this story. If they have nothing to do with anything, they should have been able to simply tell the authorities what they know and extricate themselves from it and we possibly wouldn`t be going through what we`re going through what we`re going through this evening.

    Then there’s Elizabeth Johnson, perhaps the only one who can shed light on the case. She was seen with her son by motel clerks in San Antonio. She is seen on surveillance footage leaving town on a bus without him.

    Ok,I want to know did they check to see who all was there when she was there?Was This Tammi there,or any of her followers there.I believe the answers are there.

    As much as a person wishes to have hope, I tend to see an outcome similar to the Anthony case. Elizabeth has likely been advised via counsel what she is up against without the murder charge. I personally believe Gabriel is deceased and hopefully will be found. Her motivation is similar to WF as it seemed to be her mission to hurt her ex. Also, further to that, having no interest in being a parent, to surrender sole custody to her ex would mean that she would be required to pay support, something that she did not want to do. She wanted to absolve herself from any responsibility. Now facing a potential of a great deal of her life behind bars, she would almost certainly be forthcoming, but all we hear is tripe. She has no truthful story to tell.

    Good morning. I have ever believed that the Smiths just “happened” to meet Elizabeth Johnson and Gabriel at the airport. That’s a bunch of crock. They had communicated , somehow, before, and were waiting for her. Who knows, the Smiths may have some undergroud baby adoption service that they get paid big bucks for. They are lairs and scheamers, and I think LE/FBI is on to them. It’s just a matter of time that they will be caught. Tammi appears to have her answers “all prepared” for whatever she is asked. She is a low-life grifter, and I pray they throw her in jail asap. You can tell that she’s The Boss in her family. Wonder why she lost custody of her three daughters. Be great to hear her ex-husbands side of the story! I think she knows exactly where baby Gabriel is, and what has happened to him.

    Police in Arizona are now looking into an online posting from someone claiming to have adopted a child they called “Baby Gabriel.”

    Gabriel Johnson was last seen in San Antonio December 26th. Investigators said Gabriel’s mother, Elizabeth Johnson abducted him from Tempe, Arizona eight days earlier.

    The online posting is said to be from a woman from Wisconsin named “Beth” who claims she was here in San Antonio January first to adopt a little boy. Elizabeth Johnson was already in jail in Florida by that time. She claims she gave the boy to a couple she met here at a park. Elizabeth Johnson remains in an Arizona jail on multiple charges.

    TEMPE, AZ — Police confirm to ABC15 there are two, separate, yet parallel investigations involving the disappearance of 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson.

    A team of detectives are working a missing persons investigation and a homicide investigation at the same time because it is unknown if boy’s mother gave the child away or killed him.

    A second pizza order three days later may better help find Gabriel. The receipt, provided by Papa John’s, also lists the name Elizabeth and room 150, but on Dec. 24, she ordered two pizzas, a medium and a large. They had a different assortment of toppings and seem to strongly suggest she was not eating alone.

    The driver who delivered that order no longer works at Papa John’s, but Morris said he wants to help track him down. If that second driver saw someone with Elizabeth, his testimony could help break the case.

    Hi Humble and everyone. :smile: I’m on a computer that’s as old as the dinosaurs and just stopped by to say hello. The hard drive is gone on my other computer and should be repaired tomorrow when I hope to get back .
    I also, hope Gabriel is alive but don’t feel he is. The mom is doing too little to help herself get out of jail if he were alive. What a shame these babies are dying around us. It seems like there’s a few Casey copy cats.

    The psychic ‘profiler’ that inspired the hit television series “Medium,” Allison Dubois, has offered her impressions of the Baby Gabriel Johnson case, telling CBSaffiliate KPHO in Phoenix that she believes the missing child, who hasn’t been seen since December 26 in San Antonio, will be found. Allison Dubois granted a 90-minute interview, sharing her ‘readings’ of ‘windows’ she had accessed to Baby Gabriel Johnson through photos, e-mails, and even the body language and vocal tones of Elizabeth Johnson, the missing child’s mother. She believes that investigators are near and that the child is located somewhere that helicopters have already searched.

    “I feel like (Gabriel will) be found,” DuBois said. “It does feel like helicopters are already overhead; it’s a place where they’re looking.”

    Allison Dubois told KPHO that she was not able to get much information from the child himself. “For instance, if I look at a picture of Gabriel, (the) first thing I look at is his eyes. That’s my window into him. But because he’s so young and can’t communicate, it’s very difficult for me to pull information from him.”

    Dubois also said that she believed that Elizabeth Johnson, who is currently being held on kidnapping charges in a Phoenix jail, was telling the truth when she told authorities that she had lied to Logan McQueary when she texted him that she had killed Baby Gabriel. She called it a “power play” on Johnson’s part. The medium also said she believed Johnson was out to make the father look like a bad person, which she does not believe.

    Allison Dubois thinks Tammi Smith, the Scottsdale friend of Elizabeth Johnson who was recently charged with custodial interference for attempting to forge documents in order to adopt Baby Gabriel, is an attention-seeker enjoying her moments of fame.

    The medium (she prefers the term “medium” over “psychic” because of the latter’s bad social connotation) is convinced that the missing child, who will soon be a year old, will be found.

    PHOENIX — The mother of missing baby Gabriel Johnson is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.

    This court appearance comes about two weeks after Elizabeth Johnson, 23, refused to leave her jail cell for a pre-trial conference on whether she could dismiss her court-appointed attorney.

    Judge Timothy Ryan said Johnson must be in court to ask for a new lawyer.

    Johnson is charged with kidnapping and custodial interference in connection with the disappearance of her son Gabriel, who was last seen with her in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 26.

    Johnson was arrested several days later in Florida and extradited to Maricopa County.

    Doctors Say Elizabeth Johnson Incompetent for Trial
    TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Two court-appointed doctors say the mother of a missing Arizona baby is incompetent to stand trial.

    Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner Steven Holding is expected to make a ruling on the doctors’ report soon that could excuse 23-year-old Elizabeth Johnson from participating in further court proceedings involving the disappearance of her son, who has been missing since December.
    Tempe police say Johnson originally claimed she killed the baby and later said she gave the child to a couple in San Antonio.

    If alive, Gabriel would now be a year old. Johnson remained in a downtown Phoenix jail and is charged with kidnapping, child abuse, custodial interference and conspiracy to commit custodial interference.

    Baby’s mom allegedly admits killing him

    PHOENIX, Dec. 9 (UPI) — A woman charged with kidnapping her 8-month-old son admitted to a San Antonio detective she killed the baby to get back at his father, a recording indicates.

    Elizabeth Johnson, 24, confessed from jail in Phoenix May 10 to Detective Jesse Salame, with two guards present, that she killed Gabriel, KSAZ-TV, Phoenix, said.

    The station played an audio recording Salame said was the part of the recorded interview containing the alleged confession.

    PHOENIX (KPHO) –
    The mother charged in the disappearance of her son Gabriel Johnson will stand trial.

    Wednesday was Elizabeth Johnson’s first court appearance since she was ruled incompetent to stand trial.

    When the judge read the psychiatrist’s diagnosis, stating that Johnson had been restored to competency, there was no argument from her attorneys.

    CBS 5 learned moments later that her latest defense team, Daniel Raynak and Marcy Kratter, were withdrawing from the case. This is the third legal team to abandon the case.

    Kratter told CBS 5 that they simply and ethically had no choice.

    Johnson did tear up and even thanked Kratter as she was led out of the courtroom.

    She will be assigned a public defender.

    She’s facing charges of kidnapping, child abuse and custodial interference in connection with the disappearance of her son. Dec. 27 will mark two years that Gabriel Johnson has been missing.

    Logan McQueary, Gabriel’s father, told CBS 5 he moved out of state so he could once again be anonymous. He has maintained all along that Johnson is not crazy and needs to be punished for whatever she has done to his baby boy.

    Johnson’s trial date has been set for Jan. 6.
