I have found myself angry as hell this past week! When I read about Charlie and Braden Powell, I just couldn’t even believe it. I thought that SOB, murdered his wife and now took the lives of the boys he claims he couldn’t live without, or let them live!
After spending these past 10 days with my grandson [now 1 year old] and getting to know the little guy and the joy he brought to our hearts and home, my heart just broke for Judith and Charles Cox. I can’t even imagine the sadness and how heart-broken they are.
After watching the memorial played at the Service for the boys, it even made it worse. The smiles on the boys faces, the fun they were having, the love the grandparents have for these boys and the reality that these boys could actually live without murderer Josh, I came to the conclusion that their murder had nothing to do with the murderer living without them, but had to do with the fact that these boys could live with their grandparents, and the murderer didn’t like that! Charlie and Braden should have been able to live their lives, grow up, graduate, get married, etc. All of that was taken away by one selfish pig.
I was just in aw that the The Westboro Baptist Church was going to picket the memorial service! I thought that this church needs to be put on the idiot list, and still should be. They were going to picket claiming the boys died because of Governor Chris Gregoire’s ‘rebellion’. Really you are going to picket 2 little boys memorial service because of the Governor? Why not go and picket his office instead? It was Friday they decided ‘not to picket’ the memorial. Guess they needed some publicity. As a pk [preachers kid], I won’t really tell the blog world what I really think of this church!!!!!
I pray for Judith and Charles Cox! Rest in Peace Charlie and Braden, you are now with your mother!
Many of us knew that Josh Powell is behind the disappearance/murder of Susan Powell 2 years ago, but I guess that none of us thought that the bastard would go as far as to murder his own children!

The Glendale Police Department have finally set a date to search for Jhessye Shockley. The search in the Butterfield Station Landfill will start on 6 February and there will be about 40 people on site until they get through the area they will be searching.
