Casey Anthony has another million dollar decision to make.
A Florida law firm representing a group of Hollywood producers is looking to revisit talks with the notorious ‘Tot Mom’ for her first one-on-one interview following her split with attorney Jose Baez earlier this month.
In the letter dated Tuesday, the firm of Cohen & Kuvin tells Anthony’s new attorney, J. Cheney Mason, that all sides had previously agreed to the big money deal until Baez pulled out of it. They go on to say that with Baez no longer in the mix, they’re still interested in getting a deal done.
“Time is of the essence,” the firm says.

ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orange County judge has forced Casey Anthony to respond to two questions in a lawsuit against her, and she submitted her answers Friday.
The first question was whether her father called 911 to report Caylee Anthony had drowned in the family pool. Anthony said she did not observe any such call.
The second question asked whether Anthony was aware of the Texas EquuSearch effort to search for Caylee in September and October 2008. Anthony said she was not aware that the searches were being conducted.
WESH 2 talked to EquuSearch Director Tim Miller Friday night. He said that answer is a lie.
Miller said he spent a lot of time with Anthony, and she was well aware of what he was doing. He said he’s not at all surprised she would lie under oath.

The guy Al Taylor is the same guy that supposedly offered Casey a Mil for her story in July of last year. He was all over the cable news shows and said he was in contact with Baez, and they had a verbal agreement and if Baez backed out of the agreement he was going to sue him. I take this offer with a grain of salt, especially with the Al Taylor dude. However, you never know.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Those waiting for Casey Anthony to grant her first interview since her trial will have to wait a while longer.
A group of Hollywood producers has offered the Orlando woman $1 million for her first public interview since being acquitted of killing her daughter.
Spencer Kuvin, the attorney for those producers, said he’s been told it will be at least six months until Anthony is available, adding that Anthony’s attorney has advised her that doing any interview would violate her probation. Anthony is on probation for the next six months.

More than six months after Casey Anthony’s attorneys filed notice they intend to appeal her criminal convictions, they have yet to submit an initial brief laying out the substance of her legal challenge.
While her criminal appeal moves at a seemingly glacial pace, civil suits filed against Anthony progress through the circuit court here in Orlando. One of the three is set for trial in April.
Normally, civil and criminal matters remain on distinct sides of the court system, but in Anthony’s many ongoing cases, they’re intertwined.
Anthony’s appeal of four misdemeanor convictions for lying to law enforcement has allowed her to largely avoid answering questions posed by the legal teams suing her for money. That’s because her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination applies while her appeal is pending.
In other words, she cannot be forced to answer questions now that might come back to hurt her later if she wins her appeal and is granted the chance at a new trial.
Some familiar with the case question whether delays in Anthony’s appeal could be designed, in part, to thwart the civil cases and provide her protection from explaining under oath the circumstances surrounding the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie.
“It does seem to us to be an attempt to continue to provide a shield for Casey Anthony’s testimony,” said Matt Morgan, one attorney representing Zenaida González, who is suing Anthony for defamation. “We anticipated for this appeal to drag on.”
Anthony’s legal team handling the appeal — attorneys Cheney Mason and Lisabeth Fryer — did not return calls for comment.
But Mason recently announced on national TV that Jose Baez is no longer on the case and that negotiations regarding any interviews Anthony would do for money would start after her appeal was over.
The document noticing Anthony’s appeal was filed July 15, 10 days after her acquittal on murder and other charges. It simply says the appeal is “to review the final order of judgment and sentence entered [July 7, 2011] … by the Honorable Belvin Perry.”
‘It’s a long delay’
Assistant Attorney General Wesley Heidt, who is handling the appeal for the state, said “it’s a long delay, but not extraordinarily so,” considering the volume of paperwork.
Heidt said he suspects Anthony’s legal challenges may involve double-jeopardy issues and questions of whether law enforcement properly advised Anthony of her Miranda rights early on in the case. But all of that, he said, is speculation “until I get a brief in hand.” And while the appeal is ongoing, “she has a right not to incriminate herself.”
As for the attorneys defending her civil suits, Heidt added, “it does give them cover.”
Time extensions requested by Anthony’s defense and granted by the Fifth District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach have prolonged the case, according to the file. But the appellate court has also signaled the need for Anthony’s defense team to move the process along.
On Oct. 28, for example, the DCA issued an order asking Anthony’s attorneys why the “appeal should not be dismissed for failure to file an initial brief and the record on appeal in this cause.”
On Oct. 31, Fryer blamed delays in filing transcripts of the trial proceedings on a “grossly understaffed” Official Court Reporter office here in Orlando.
On Nov. 1, the appeals court granted a time extension. But the court warned further requests “for this purpose must be accompanied by [an] affidavit from [the] court reporter stating factual basis for need for further extension.”
Officials with Orange County court administration contacted this week confirmed that long-term court-reporting vacancies caused delays in creating the record for the appeal.
Attorneys familiar with the appellate process say creating the record for appeal is often a cause for delays. And they note that Anthony’s criminal trial lasted longer than any in local case in recent memory. At the same time, Anthony’s appeal involves the minor counts involved and not the case’s most serious charges or the bulk of the prosecution.
On Dec. 21, Fryer asked the court for permission to add more transcripts of testimony taken during Anthony’s criminal trial and a Sept. 2 hearing dealing with law-enforcement costs related to Anthony’s case. Fryer asked at that point for another time extension to file the initial brief.
On Jan. 12, the court gave Fryer more time to file the initial brief. The order essentially sets a mid-March deadline for the filing of the brief.
That’s less than one month before the Zenaida González defamation case is set to go to trial.
Last week, the appeals court received 115 volumes — comprising thousands of pages from the Anthony trial. The additional documents should arrive by next month, with the initial brief to follow.
With Orange Circuit Judge Lisa Munyon ruling that Anthony’s constitutional rights trump the desires of those suing the 25-year-old to fully question her, the current timeline virtually assures Anthony will not be compelled to speak before the González trial.
With their lawsuit having lingered now since September 2008, González’s lawyers could ask for a continuance and try to put off the trial.
“We’re not at that point yet,” Morgan said. “We will likely circle the wagons and figure out how to proceed right before the trial.”
I can’t believe that Belvin would run again! I am sure this ZFG Judge treating the murderer like its ok to just throw a name out there for kidnapping your kid…which we knew and know the murderer killed Caylee, with white gloves doesn’t help. Could not control myself I told her male supporters to use the brain. These people are sick like her to think that it is okay to lie like this they think her an angel. Well one day Felon CA will kill someone else or get caught for robbing the rich guys she lays in bed with.
Why does OJ get his civil trial right away and she does not. If her Miranda rights were not given this would have been worked out prior to trial. And who could believe the liar? 13 jurors and an alternate the later spoke like they discussed the trial before the end. Someone on that jury will blow it or a spouse I cannot wait until that day that we find out that the jury did illegal chatter or someone was strong armed.

Not one of these monsters was held up to any kind of consequence for all the crimes that they committed. They lied and lied. Perry IMHO dropped the ball on this trail and it all started with jury selection and giving passes to potential jurors who clearly stated that they were agsinst the dp and couldn;t judge people. WHAT! He also made promises to the jurors as to how long the trail would be ie: that they would be done so a planned vacation wouldn’t be affected. It goes on and on. I really do beleive though that cma will go back to her real self and and end up incarerated for future crimes.

“I’m just really starting to feel good about a lot of things. It’s about time,” she says in the two-minute video dated Nov. 6, 2011.
“I’m really starting to like the way things are going and where they’re are going.”
She talks about spending time with someone, but that person’s name is edited out, RadarOnline reports, but there is no mention of her daughter, Caylee.
“It’s good to be back … it’s good to be home … it’s good to be with my Smooch,” Anthony says of her dog.
Anthony says: “I’m just happy. I’m really happy.”

Casey Anthony told her probation officer last month that her computer had been hacked.
This month, her monthly report shows that she had no questions or problems to discuss with her officer.

Anthony says that she remains unemployed, that she consumed no alcoholic beverages and that she did not buy or use illegal drugs. She says she has not been arrested.
But she replies yes to a question about attending classes or self-improvement programs. She says that questions about whether she went into debt for any reason are not applicable.

I just read that DR. G donated ALL her earnings from her show. It isn’t known how much she made, but she is impressive. The best thing is she didn’t donate anything the the Caylee Fraud Foundation run my the fuglies in Orlando!
Dr. G donated to The Russel Home for Atypical Children, which helps severely handicapped children in Central Florida as well as Harbor House of Central Florida.
So she’s basically doing the show to help/donate to others. Wow…that is impressive. She knows those people are scams. The law increases the maximum penalty from a year in jail to five years in prison for knowingly making a false statement to police about a missing child.

Rob Lowe has been cast to play prosecutor Jeff Ashton in the upcoming Lifetime movie ‘Prosecuting Casey Anthony’. Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez were granted the right to know where Casey Anthony is living Thursday.
At the Orange County Courthouse, the attorneys asked the judge to force Anthony to reveal her current and past addresses at a hearing.
The address will be sealed to the public and only known to the attorneys. Attorneys said that safety will not be compromised.
Gonzalez’s attorneys said they need the addresses to serve her a subpoena.
Anthony and her attorney’s have 10 days to comply to the judge’s order or appeal. If they do not reveal where she is living, they could face civil penalties.

saw bozo on dr drew the other nite pimpin out his book that says nothing. he used his snake oil charm and continued to hide behind smoking mirrors and avoid any questions of or about the book. It was disgusting. I changed the channel after 7 minutes and saw peices of it as I would click through to find something to watch that would get that bad taste out of my eyes and ears. I wrote to the book publishing company benbella books and told them i would boycott this book and every other future published book from their company. “anniversaries” are coming ahead with another year of life without Caylee and no justice. Terribly sad. They all make me sick still, all of the characters involved. A visceral reaction whenever i see them.
